ONE WRONG MOVE.
Disavowed Navy SEAL, Nash Adamson, knows that’s all it will take for his high school sweetheart, Maisey, and her unborn child to die at the hands of her psychopath ex.
Vicente Rodriquez is the untouchable drug king of south Florida. He wooed Maisey into believing their whirlwind romance was the fairy tale she’d searched her whole life to find. Pregnant, she couldn’t wait to … couldn’t wait to marry him. Life was idyllic until she witnessed her beloved murder in cold blood, then discovered he’s already married to a woman who’s unable to conceive. Maisey tried running to police, but found herself locked in a gilded cage. Vicente plans on keeping her alive long enough for her to give birth to his son, then he wants her permanently out of his family picture.
When Nash attempts a middle-of-the-night solo rescue at Vicente’s remote compound, the mission goes horribly wrong. Suddenly, Nash is left with no choice but to hide deep in the Everglades, running from Vicente’s trigger-happy hired guns with the eight-month pregnant woman he’s fought years to forget.
When the exertion and stress send Maisey into early labor, the clock is ticking for Nash to save her and her child from not just lethal swamp creatures, but the man who wants her dead.

SEAL Team: Disavowed
To become a United States Navy SEAL, a man must be physically forged in steel and able to mentally compute life or death situations with laser accuracy and speed. Our country trusts these men with the most sensitive military operations—many so covert that once they are successfully completed, they are never spoken of again.
This series celebrates one particularly fierce band of brothers who valiantly battled terrorists whose crimes against nature and humanity were far too great to chance escape. On a dark night, on foreign soil, SEAL Team Alpha witnessed acts so unspeakably cruel against women, infants and small children that their consciences would not allow anything other than their own brand of justice for the scum terrorist cell.
A trial would have been too good for these pigs, and so, one-by-one they were taken out, and the women and children they’d used were freed. By dawn, an entire region breathed easier. The men of Alpha found themselves heroes to those whose lives they had saved, but virtual criminals in the eyes of the organization they served. After a lengthy investigation, their elite, covert team was formally disbanded.
They now spend their lives deep undercover, still serving—no longer their country, but individuals who find themselves in need of not only their own personal warrior, but a particular brand of justice.
While honorably discharged, these men and their actions will forever be disavowed . . .

Nash goes to Maisie’s rescue at the request of her mom. The two main characters have had a romantic history back in their school days but both went their separate ways despite strong feelings for each other. Nash lost his wife and unborn son and is still grieving. Maisy has a baby while on the run from a murderous druglord. There is a lot of action throughout this book.
Yep, liked the book.
Was a very easy book to read. Had you interested thru the whole book. Loved the characters and the story line. Recommend this book.
It’s okay for a quick romance read.
Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. There was no good place to stop, just had to see what was happening next!
Loved this book. Every chapter was filled with suspense.
I had a hard time liking Maisy at first and didn’t really feel the chemistry at first. It was a decent read. The scariest part for me was in imagining the real power money can buy regardless of who you are.
a little raunchy in the sex though
It’s alright of a story. I did not really feel their chemistry. And how much trouble they got into over and over again got pretty old.
Good read!
Maisey and Nash were childhood friends and then sweethearts. He asked her to marry him right after he joined up. She said no (Daddy issues). Fast forward many years later, and she’s “married” to a real nasty bad guy and pregnant. He comes in to rescue her. They fall back in love and the rest is run to keep ahead of her bad husband that just wants the child.

SEAL Team: Disavowed Series Book One
Nash Adamson hasn’t really been living since his wife and son died a year ago. He hadn’t been using the skills he’d learned as a SEAL either. Not since his other ex-SEAL friends thought he needed to take a break so he could pull his life together. That’s why he was on this mission to save a woman without the rest of his team around him.
Maisey Blake made some pretty poor decisions in her life. Letting her first love go because she felt all men in the Navy would be like her dad—no good. This latest poor decision…which she blamed on her no-good father as well…had really gotten her into deep trouble. Her third mistake was not obeying orders from the man who came to rescue her.
This has the looks of being a really good series. I loved this first story and can’t wait for the next one. A group of ex-SEALs team together to use their skills in their civilian lives…since they were discharged for taking things into their own hands on the field.
Heroes to some…criminals to others.

I couldn’t get into the story!
The main character girl was a complete moron. The phrase “too dumb to live” was in my brain the whole time I read this book. She wasn’t even likable
It was okay. Fun and lighthearted, but very predictable.
While this book was action-packed, it almost seemed a little too much. I was really put off by the irrational behavior and lack of common sense of the heroine. It kept things going that didn’t need to happen.
I’m all for a rescue fantasy but this one is beyond belief. I actually LIKED the characters here, perhaps in a different setting or story line they would have really blossomed to their full potential.
Maisey and Nash grew up together. Both their fathers were in the military. Maisey’s dad constantly cheated on her mom, while Nash’s was just gone a lot. When Nash proposes to Maisey and then says he’s joined the Navy, she breaks up with him. Now years later after losing his wife and unborn son and being disavowed from the Seals, he and his buddies start a security business. Maisey’s mom gets Nash to go after her because her husband has cut her off from her family and friends. Maisey is “married” to a drug king name Vicente. So Nash goes in to rescue her but she puts up a fight first. As they trample through the Everglades, chased by thugs and reward seekers, they must get away because Vicente just wants the baby and plans to kill Maisey. Fast paced action. A little steamy. Will have you biting your nails till the end.
Good read
It was ok. I knew how it would end!
