~~A STAND ALONE novel in the Six Pack Ranch world. You can read ROMANCE without having read the previous books, although you’ll probably fall in love with everyone you meet, and you’ll want to know their stories too…sorry about that. (Not really :D)~~Grab the audio version for a low-low price after getting the ebook!—–Second chances are the sweetest—and the hottest. It took a spectacularly … the sweetest—and the hottest.
It took a spectacularly embarrassing break-up to knock Steve Moonshine Coleman off his lazy butt. In the ten months since that night, he’s changed his ways. Now that Melody’s back in town, it’s time for this sweet-talking cowboy to convince her to get back in the saddle with him.
A return to her veterinary position in Rocky Mountain House was always in the cards for Melody Langley. Getting back together with Steve? Never part of the plan. He had lots of potential but zero ambition, and there’s no way she’ll accept anything less than a man who can keep up with her, in and out of bed.
But the new-and-improved cowboy is impossible to resist, so Melody issues a challenge. Three months to prove he’s reformed. Three months of Steve orchestrating one sexual indulgence after another—wicked distractions from the old boys’ club Melody faces at work and Steve’s growing responsibilities.
He’s got one shot to prove with more than words what’s in his heart and soul.
Warning: Fifty percent less angst, twice as much filthy-talking, dirty-daring cowboy. Get ready for a whole lot of make-your-knees-weak wooing from a man intent on proving he’s got what it takes, and the woman ready to push him way past his limits.

Rocky Mountain Romance by Vivian Arend is an entertaining read. Ms. Arend has given us a well-written book filled with fantastic, lovable characters. Melody is returning to her position in Rocky Mountain House after getting advanced veterinarian schooling. Steve turned his life around after Melody left for schooling and now wants a second chance. Their story is full of drama, humor, action and sexy bits. I enjoyed reading Rocky Mountain Romance and look forward to reading more from Vivian Arend soon. Rocky Mountain Romance is book 7 of the Six Pack Ranch Series and book 9 of the Rocky Mountain House Series but can easily be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
It was very good
Reading this book makes me want to read all the series.
I enjoyed this story.
An entertaining second chance romance.
To supposedly be so smart, Mai characters are kinda dumb.
Love all the Rocky mountain heat books!
An enjoyable storyline and wonderful characters. A little to much sex for me.
Vivian is an excellent erotic writer. She just falls down on the actual work of writing character and plot. He has a nice body and is well endowed. She’s a vet. I learned about farm dogs versus pets, but nothing about the characters. She wants nothing. He wants her, but not desperately.
As always this author has hit a home run.
Read in one setting and enjoyed every minute.
Love how long the story last not just 90 pages and story not really ended. Looking forward to have characters in future books.
loved the story, great reading material. would read more stories of hers
I truly loved Steve and Melody’s story. It proves that love can be lovlier the second time around.
Love that even as it is part of a series – it stands alone on its own merits. Thank you for NOT making it yet another cliff hanger like so many other authors do.
Could not read. Trashy.
Steamy and Funny!!! I do like the Six Pack books! I do like Arend’s writing style. It did need some grammar editing. That takes a 3rd or 4th reader to do it. Prior editors will skip right past.
I loved the story. Nice to see one where they both have some growing up to do away from each other and then come together for the final growing up.
I normally skip sex scenes, but some of these were so well written that I read more (not all) of them … including sometimes laughing at an interchange within the scene. I did laugh quite often in this book. Oh, you’ve got to read what happens when the women play truth or dare!
I fought the idea that the very first time Mathis goes away it is for 6 whole weeks. Too long to have dumped her in the middle of that much dumb male community.
A second time around love story – where to prove himself this cowboy has to show he has got what it takes and that is not a double scoop of vanilla.
So wonderful to read. Alpha male meets his match. Characters are wonderful.
I have read the whole more than once.
Another lovely read in this series.
Having a second chance to prove he has matured to the woman he lost makes Steve one happy cowboy.
Maddy comes back to become a part of the Rocky Mountain Animal Clinic but faces misogynistic behaviour from some of the ranchers.
Getting back together with Steve was not on her list of things to do but she cannot help falling for the more mature man.
I wasn’t 100% a fan of Maddy only because I felt Steve had to do way more of the proving things and Maddy coasted along without having to put in too much effort.
Lovely spending time with all of these people again.
Great
Melody came back after getting more big animal training. Steve has to get his life together if he wants to get her back. It’s been a year did he do it. And why does have to prove that she is a great vet to make ranchers. Thank goodness the Coleman’s know better.
