Snowed in rocker makes unplanned baby with saucy waitress. News at 11.I could see the tabloids now.Yeah, I play guitar and sing occasionally. But my main role is as a producer for other musicians. That’s why I came to Crescent Cove—to help rockstar Kellan McGuire with his first solo project. Not to get stuck in a surprise snowstorm with a smart, funny lass with big brown eyes and a very … with a smart, funny lass with big brown eyes and a very flexible…body.
The next night, I was on a flight back to LA.
I returned to town months later. To help Kellan. Right.
And to lose myself in Ivy again and again, even when the cops tried to thwart us. (They only temporarily succeeded.)
The next time I come back, ready to fight for my woman, Ivy has a swollen belly.
I’ve spent my life running, and second chances come at a price. But I won’t give up until I’ve made her mine. Forever.
Her and our baby.
Author’s Note: Surprise! Producer Rory Ferguson is the first character to cross over from our Oblivion World…but he isn’t the last! He doesn’t start out as a daddy, but his unexpected baby with Ivy will be his biggest production yet.
Author’s note part deux: Rockstar Baby is a romantic comedy with a HEA and no cliffhanger.

If you haven’t read the Rock Revenge Trilogy by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliot, I would read that series first just so you have an introduction to Rory. However, you can absolutely read this book as a stand alone and not be confused. I just think it would introduce you to him and you would get a sense for his friendship to Ian that is talked about later in this book. That being said, this is book 6 in the Crescent Cove series. It introduces us to Ivy and Rory. They meet when Rory comes to town to work on a song with Kellan and has to stop because of too much snow. Ivy is the waitress of the diner he stops at to at least eat, and the sparks are off the charts from the start. It was only supposed to be one night, but turns into more. Rory comes back to town and can’t stay away but then leaves again. Not realizing that he might have left a little present. Until he comes back again to try to find out what he truly feels for Ivy, and now has the fight of his life on his hands.
I absolutely loved this one!! I was so excited when it was announced that Rory was going to get his own book, because after seeing him in the Rock Revenge book, I really wanted to know more about him! And this book in no way disappoints! Rory has issues, but even with the issues that he has, he is this sweet, caring, and loving man underneath. And I absolutely loved him! Ivy is snarky and fun and will do anything for someone she cares about. And them together? Absolute fireworks! I was hooked right from the start and couldn’t put it down. And I definitely didn’t want it to end! Add in the little tease at the end for the next book, and I don’t think my addiction to this series is going to end anytime soon!
You have to love an Irishman. The accent alone will make you swoon. And if that doesn’t do it, having Ian Kagan as your bestie, not to mention your sounding board, then, if none of that does it for you, stop reading now. Still here? Good!
Rory is just plain yummy. Ivy is in a league all her own. She reminds me of Zoe (Ian’s girl Magic). Ivy gives as good as she gets. And boy does she get Rory. To date, this might be my favorite in this series. Id love to see Ivy in Ireland. See her with Rory’s family. Especially his Mum. (Hint hint lol).
Seriously. If your looking for a great story that just happens to include one hunky Irishman. Friend to Ian and Kellen, your in the right place. Even if your not hehehehhe you OWE it to yourself to read a great book!
When Rory gets stuck in Crescent Cove thanks to a snow storm, thank God that he had met Ivy at the diner where she waitresses, because it meant they could indulge in a little fun that night while they waited out the storm.
Ivy knows better than to take the most most mind-blowing night she’d ever had as something more than casual. After all, Rory’s an LA man, a music producer/rockstar, and certainly isn’t planning on sticking around Crescent Cove for any longer than it takes for him to help out Kellan. But, her body can’t seem to get with the program, and she keeps letting him back into her bed whenever he comes around. Until she doesn’t. Until he lets her down so badly that she knows she can’t rely on him to be a co-parent with her. So she steels her heart against him, should she ever see him again. Will Rory get his head out of his ass and step up, or will Ivy be forced to do everything on her own – raise their child and obtain her dream of opening up an ice cream truck, ALONE?
I love all Cari and Taryn’s rockstars, and Rory and Ivy are no exception. Their story is funny, seriously sexy, and a little heart-tugging. Rory had a lot of demons, and inflicted a lot of hurt on Ivy because of those demons. There were times I wanted to shake him then turn around and hug him right after. And Ivy? That woman is amazing – sweet and compassionate with a huge heart, and so freakin’ strong and independent. She is what all heroines should be! I’ve been loving this Crescent Cove series, and now that it’s been crossed over with some of my favorite rockstars, I’m ecstatic!! Can’t wait for more baby daddies, more rockstars, and more love from two of my favorite authors.
You had me at sexy Irishman….Rory Ferguson gets lost in Crescent Cove and meets the beautiful and vivacious Ivy Rose. The spark, the chemistry, the level of sexual tension between these two characters is ablaze in this installment of Dirty DILFs, which are always found in Crescent Cove.
Taryn Quinn does it yet again, this duo makes wanting a baby the sexiest idea in the world and the way that these parents to be come to be is hilarious and enticing to say the very least. They have a magical way with their words. They captivate me, enthrall me, make me yearn for passion, you name it this book did it to me.
My heart melted and melted again and again. The female characters in this series are strong, powerful, beautiful, sassy, smart and so full of life that you wonder how Crescent Cove has so many of them. Can I be a part of Crescent Cove and its’ beauty? Their wit is so powerful that they go toe to toe with the male leads and then some. It just goes to show you that these women can fight for what they believe in, be independent and fall in love with good men all at the same time.
Rory Ferguson is the quintessential behind the scenes rockstar. He is a music producer, a jack of all trades who would much rather be behind the scenes marking musical magic than on stage rocking out. His quietness is intriguing and his fierce loyalty to his few friends is jaw dropping. To have that much loyalty in an industry to is not known for it is sexy. I can’t wait to be able to hear his sexy accent, so he can seduce me like he did Ivy.
I think that everyone needs to read this hilariously funny and sexy book. Taryn Quinn strikes magic yet again. Crescent Cove Water should be packaged and sold!!!!
This is my favorite book so far in this amazing series. It grab me and pulled me in. A definite one click book
First off, I loved this book. The town Cresent Cove is having a major baby boom. Ivy is the next in line. Secondly, I adored her. She is the girl next door type who is sick of being the girl next door. She wants to have that one night to be reckless, just a little. When Rory is blown in from the snow storm, he seems to have what it takes to fit the bill. Rory is just trying to find his mates house but the blinding snow and the wrong direction land him in the diner where Ivy is working. They are instantly attracted to each other. So mich so that Rory finds himself coming back to this town again and again. Since he’s the type to never settle in one place for long, this is cosmos changing.
I am never disappointed by these authors. They have created so many characters that are near and dear to my heart. I love when they introduce more and explore potentials but I also love when older characters are brought back. I cannot wait for August’s story!
The best one yet. Each book in this series just keeps getting better. This one is my favorite so far. This is a highly recommended book. I loved it so much that I could not put it down and I had to keep turning the page to see what happens next.
We all need a Lucky Charm in our lives so ladies check out the Fairy Queens lucky Charm.
I really enjoyed this fun read about Rory and Ivy. Rory is passing through on his way to work with Kellan on his latest song when he gets stuck in a snowstorm and meets Ivy. While Rory comes across as this brooding Irishman, Ivy is this fun loving “fairy” as he calls her. She works three different jobs and has a dream of owning an ice cream truck. After meeting Rory at the diner, Ivy heads back to his room at the B&B. Of course, she has to drop and make snow angels in the ground first. After an amazing night and day together, Rory heads back to California and his life without Ivy. He didn’t even bother to get her phone number even though she never left his thoughts. Kellan is ready to work with Rory again, and Rory can’t wait to go back and see Ivy. This time he brings her along to meet his “friends”, these famous singers. While Rory is totally smitten with Ivy, he wasn’t ready for this and isn’t quite sure how to handle it so he runs off to Ireland to see his family. But as all moms do, she immediately knows that he’s having girl troubles and sends him on his way. Little does he know but Ivy has a big surprise for him even though she’s pretty much given up on him. This was such a fun read! I love this Crescent Cove series!
However I really can’t wait for August and Kinleigh!
Ivy is focused on getting her ice cream business started so a one night stand or two-night stand is okay with her. One day she wants to start a family but today isn’t that day. Rory has been hurt in the past and looks for nothing but one night stands. When the two of them meet during a snowstorm what they find with each other is what love stories are made of. But life is never that simple and easy, especially when you throw in an unplanned baby. I Think this may be my favorite book in the crescent cove series. It seems a little longer than the other books and that’s a good thing! I also loved the appearances by some of our other favorite characters. So will Kinleigh be the next to drink the water in Crescent Cove?!!
Excellent read! Rory is a city boy through and through so when he comes to the Cove and a snowstorm hits he turns to Ivy for some warmth and comfort. He convinces her to come back to his room for the night and what is expected to be a one-night stand is so freaking H-O-T and chemistry filled I’m surprised my kindle didn’t explode from the combustion. Rory turns up in town a month later supposedly on “music” business and, of course, has Ivy again and then disappears. Ivy is sure he is gone for good and just when she has news for him. Surprise when Rory turns up months later and Ivy is sporting a baby bump. Can and will Rory the father he needs to? This was such a good story with lots of cameos! Definitely a keeper to be pulled out later for a reread!!
Rockstar Baby has skyrocketed to the top of my favorites! I have enjoyed the Crescent Cove series and look forward to each new book. Rory and Ivy are just so perfect. Their story flows through the pages and takes you on a sweet ride through the joys and fears of falling in love. I have to admit I fell in love with Rory’s Irish accent – I heard it in my head every time he spoke. The bonus of additional cast of rockers and family brings it all together. Hats off to Taryn and Cari for another well done tale.
OMG!!! This book has become one of my favorite books of all this year. While I was reading this book I did not want it to end. I WANTED MORE!! I laughed so hard, I cried, and I got so hot I had to jump my hubby (LOL). You really have to read this book and you will understand my feelings have for this book.
BEST BOOK OF THE YEAR SO FAR!!!!
Rory and Ivy’s story screamed instant connection for the pair that in Crescent Cove could only mean one thing!! The chemistry between the pair was off the charts and I enjoyed the interactions between the pair. Their story moved along well and I was hooked from when I started reading this book! I also enjoyed the return of the characters from previous books in this series as well as books from other series. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series and I recommend this book to others.
In true Taryn Quinn style this newest addition to the Crescent Cove series delights and intrigues readers with charming Irishman record producer/musician Rory Ferguson, and sweet, ice cream making, hometown gal, Ivy Beck. When Lucky Charms meets Ginger Fairy we are sure to be in for a wild and entertaining ride.
What was supposed to be a one night deal leaves both Ivy and Rory secretly struggling to forget the other. When Rory finds himself returning to New York again and again he realizes he’s only fooling himself, he can’t get enough of his Ginger Fairy. Yet the confirmed bachelor is floored when he sees the woman he’s fallen for with her swollen belly.
Ivy has been slowly falling for the man who was supposed to be a one and done because he keeps coming back to the Cove, thank heavens, because he sure knows how to rock her world. What she doesn’t expect is his sudden radio silence when she now has news he deserves to hear from her. She should have known though; Rory made it abundantly clear that marriage and family were not for him. So Ivy determines to move on and make her dreams come true, and if that includes being a single mom, so be it. So when the Irish man she has dubbed Lucky Charms sees fit to return singing a different tune she doesn’t believe his sudden change of heart is possible.
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
This latest book in the Crescent Cove series is a must read. The plot thickens when Rory Ferguson, a music producer, and Ivy Beck, a lovely, smart, funny girl with dreams of creating an ice cream truck business. They chance meet in a snow storm in upstate NY where Ivy lives. The sparks fly with an instant connection. However, Rory lives across the country in LA. Ivy ends up pregnant and Rory ends up temporarily back home in Ireland to sort out his life and feelings. The book had a hold on this reader and I could not put it down.
If you want a book that you can’t put down, this is it. All it took was a snowstorm for things to heat up. Rory and Ivy had their one night together full of plenty of steam and a connection. This is definitely a book you want to one click and sit back and enjoy. Another Winner by this author duo.
Another great addition to the Crescent Cove Series. I loved Rory & Ivy’s instant connection after meeting in a diner during a snow storm. They were great together even if Rory kept trying to deny his feelings for Ivy before he finally saw the light. It was a really sweet & sexy story.
Best one yet!
I personally think this book is the best of the Crescent Cove series so far. Maybe it’s because one of my favorite genres is rockstars or maybe it’s the Irish but I loved everything about it! It’s funny, sexy and a good storyline. I really didn’t want it to end. Loved Ivy! She was the perfect foil to Rory & getting him to get out of his head.
This one goes into my reread column & I am looking forward to August & Kinleigh’s story with I hope appearances from Rory & Ivy and maybe Kellan/Maggie & Ian/Zoe.
Ivy is a woman with a dream and she is not afraid to chase it down. She also wants children (and maybe a guy to help with them).
Rory doesn’t know exactly what he’s getting himself into with this short trip to New York but the rest of his life depends on it. Thankfully, he begins to realize it and, eventually, knows what he should do.
This book was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed reading about these two. I love Ivy’s dream and especially the names of the ice cream. I have some ideas of possible pairings and connections to characters in their other series and I’m super excited to read the next book! Can you believe it? Only been a day and I’m already thirsting for the next story….
Amazing story with all the feels, all the good kind, great banter, excellent writing and sizzling chemistry. Highly recommend!!!
