Snowed in rocker makes unplanned baby with saucy waitress. News at 11.I could see the tabloids now.Yeah, I play guitar and sing occasionally. But my main role is as a producer for other musicians. That’s why I came to Crescent Cove—to help rockstar Kellan McGuire with his first solo project. Not to get stuck in a surprise snowstorm with a smart, funny lass with big brown eyes and a very … with a smart, funny lass with big brown eyes and a very flexible…body.
The next night, I was on a flight back to LA.
I returned to town months later. To help Kellan. Right.
And to lose myself in Ivy again and again, even when the cops tried to thwart us. (They only temporarily succeeded.)
The next time I come back, ready to fight for my woman, Ivy has a swollen belly.
I’ve spent my life running, and second chances come at a price. But I won’t give up until I’ve made her mine. Forever.
Her and our baby.
Author’s Note: Surprise! Producer Rory Ferguson is the first character to cross over from our Oblivion World…but he isn’t the last! He doesn’t start out as a daddy, but his unexpected baby with Ivy will be his biggest production yet.
Author’s note part deux: Rockstar Baby is a romantic comedy with a HEA and no cliffhanger.

Another amazing book, each one is better than the last! I couldn’t put it down, read it in 2 days. Highly recommend!
This book was sent to me by the author for an honest review. I absolutely love Ivy and Rory. They are perfect together and so far they are the best couple out of Crescent Cove. There were times they had me laughing so hard, especially with the scenes involving Sheriff Brooks. Ivy is trying to make her future and dreams come true while also wanting a child. Rory is a music producer who gets stuck in Crescent Cove during a snowstorm. Rory is attracted to Ivy once he lays eyes on her. He manages to talk her into going back to his room for the night. They feel something for each other right away but don’t really think too much about it. A month later, Rory returns and is excited to see Ivy again. However, because of his past, he makes excuses that he is really there for work, not for Her. Ivy is afraid to believe in the future but can’t seem to stay away from Rory. When he runs away from her, she finally decides she doesn’t need him in her life to raise their child. When Rory finally confronts his true feelings, he goes back to Ivy, hoping to make things right, not realizing the surprise she has for him. I enjoyed reading the guest cameos in the book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series when it comes out. I always look forward to reading any books by these authors.
Rockstar Baby is a Crescent Cove book featuring Rory and Ivy. This is such a fun romantic heartwarming story. I really loved Rory and Ivy, both are strong willed and love fiercely. We also get visits from Kellan and Ian. Great fun loving story. Must Read!
I know I say it every time but these girls write fantastic books. The minute I start one I can’t stop. The characters, the storyline – I love every thing and every word!!! Rory, the rockstar producer is in Crescent Cove to work with Kellan, but a snowstorm has him pulling over and checking into an inn. He meets Ivy when he goes to eat at the only place open during the storm. I loved this relationship and these two so much. Their connection, their off the charts chemistry, the different coasts, different lives, ice cream dreams and their surprise all make for a love story that now has a special place in my heart!
I absolute love this book.
Crescent Cove once again spins it’s spell, this time with the closed off Irishman Rory Fergueson. He gets lost in the Cove and meets Ivy Rose Black.
I love these two characters. Roy just needed the right woman to open his heart and let him live again. He has so much to offer to Ivy and his friends he is just to fearful of what he could loose.
Ivy is a great female character. She is strong and confident and wasn’t afraid to go after what she wanted. When she gets pregnant she finds her strength.
You’ll hope that these two get together and that Rory learns to open up to both Ivy and his friends.
While there are other books in this series, there is no need to read them first.
4.5 stars–ROCKSTAR BABY is the sixth instalment in Taryn Quinn’s (Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott) contemporary, adult CRESCENT COVE erotic, romance series focusing on the town of Crescent Cove. This is music producer and Irishman Rory Ferguson, and waitress / ice cream maker Ivy Beck’s story line. ROCKSTAR BABY can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary. Several characters including Rory Ferguson cross-over from the authors’ Oblivion World series but you do not have to have read the previous series to follow… for back story and cohesion, I recommend reading for your own enjoyment.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Rory and Ivy) ROCKSTAR BABY follows the building relationship between music producer Rory Ferguson, and waitress Ivy Beck. Rory Ferguson was only in town for a few hours. Rockstar Kellan McGuire’s solo career was about to take off, and music producer Rory Ferguson was desperate enough to leave the warmth of LA and venture cross-country to the snowy parts of Crescent Cove, New York. What Rory never expected was to find himself caught in a blizzard, and into the arms of local waitress Ivy Beck. A quick insta-lust relationship would bring Rory back into Ivy’s life on a number of occasions but Rory knew his lifestyle wasn’t conducive to a woman like Ivy Beck. Fast forward several months wherein Ivy discovers she is pregnant with Rory’ child, a child he had never expected or planned for the future. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Rory and Ivy, and the potential fall-out when Rory walks away from the woman he loves not knowing the secret she was about to reveal.
The relationship between Rory and Ivy is one of insta-lust; a palpable sexual attraction that burned fiery hot from the first time they met. Ivy knew Rory wasn’t in town for the long haul but Rory kept secret his connections to the stars of music and rock. Already having issues of trust now that Rory had left without looking back, Ivy tried, but Rory refused to answer her calls, having issues of trust of his own. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
We are introduced to Ivy’s brothers Caleb and August, and from the Oblivion series: Kellan McGuire and his wife Maggie, Ian Kagan and his girlfriend Zoe Manning: Hummingbird’s Nest B&B owners Sage and Oliver Hamilton; and bar owner Mitch.
ROCKSTAR BABY is a story of family, friendship, miscommunication and issues of trust. The premise is engaging and entertaining; the romance is seductive and steamy; the characters are colorful, energetic and charismatic. ROCKSTAR BABY is a fun, emotional, and fantastic addition to Taryn Quinn’s CRESCENT COVE series.
I love this town and this series! I’m such a fan of these authors, everything they put out is an immediate drop everything and read for me.
This 6th book in the series is no exception. Fun, quirky, and charming main characters with colorful side characters, some visits from some favorites from previous books and all the sweet and sexy romance you can stand.
You’ll find yourself drawn into their world and you’ll swear these are all real people! The dialogue is top notch.
Rory blows in from out of town, not planning to stay long and certainly not planning to meet the woman that will rock his rockstar world forever. He has walls up for a reason and doesn’t ever let anyone behind them.
Ivy is just wanting to enjoy some special time with a special stranger, she’s certainly not looking for her one – she’s got other stuff on her plate. Though she is a bit wistful about having it all, especially a baby to love. She should know better than to drink the water in Crescent Cove!
How these two ultimately find their way together is well worth the read, and the side stories are a lot of fun too!
Pick this one up, or even better yet, read the entire series and Rockstar Revenge, so you can fall in love with all the characters as I have!
I absolutely loved Rock star Baby, Rory Ferguson a music producer and he comes to Crescent Cove to help Kellan with a new song but he arrives when there is a major snow storm, and he was forced to stay in a B&B, everything changed when he arrived that night, he went to a diner that night and met Ivy. Ivy had her own dream and a big wrench was thrown this. Rory was done wrong in the past, and he didnt want a relationship and he threw himself in his work. These two had amazing chemistry. Rory went back to California and left Ivy until he went home to his parents and confessed everything his mom about his feeling for Ivy,
Taryn Quinn does it again! This is a fun and romantic read and loved every page of it! Cross over from the Crescent Cove and Rock Star series. So you get to enjoy the characters from both! Rory and Ivy will steal your hearts. A long distance romance that is funny, really smoking hot, and heart warming. And a little unexpected surprise!
Rory Ferguson is a producer who can help rockstars focus on their song and music writing and is lost in a lake effect snowstorm looking for the home of Kellen McGuire to work his magic on Kellen’s latest endeavour. The snow had obliterated all the landmarks and left Rory lost, cold, hungry, low on petrol, and wishing he’d never left LA. Via the instructions Kellen gave him Rory was able finally direct Rory to Crescent Cove, a lovely B&B and an all night diner.
Ivy Beck is working the overnight shift for a friend that couldn’t make it to work because of the snowstorm; Ivy was always available for extra shifts as she was working to pay for her dream, an ice cream truck for her unique home-made ice creams.
Rory seeks out the diner and both he and Ivy are struck by the instantaneous attraction, but neither is looking for anything long term; they have goals and it doesn’t include a love affair or even a steady partner. A one night stand. So why can they not let go of the memories.
Rory is essentially a loner, barely even talking to his family while burying himself in work. Ivy is just a small town girl with the big dream of having an ice cream truck with her creations. They are adorable together. We get quite a bit of Ian and Zoe in this story in addition to some Kellan and Maggie. I love Ian and Rory. Rory absolutely needed someone like Ian: “I never said you were my best friend.” “No, but you can’t stop me from making you mine.” And he did. Rory’s changes are due a lot to both Ivy and Ian with some of his family thrown in. Wonderful story and I so look forward to August and Kinleigh.
Who doesn’t love everything these two ladies write? Well, I for one sure do. I’m a sucker for a great rockstar story but throw in a surprise baby and I’m there!
If you’ve previously read their Rock Revenge Trilogy, you’ve already met the elusive, quiet Irishman, Rory Ferguson..producer, musician, wordsmith, fixer of rockstars who need a little help perfecting their sound. He’s in demand, travels all over keeping his clientele happy with his special talent for making their music sound amazing.
One lonely, snowy night brings Rory into the magical lakeside town of Crescent Cove where he’s agreed to help rocker Kellan McGuire with a solo project, as a favor, just for a day or so. Just enough time to met the lovely Ivy Beck, sweet and sassy server at the Rusty Spoon on this very late and wicked night that will change everything.
It’s the quiet ones you have to watch sometimes as the sparks fly between Rory and Ivy. He’s careful about who he spends time with and it’s been a while for him, not typical in his line of work, and she’s not a one night stand kind of girl, but exceptions can be made, right??? She’s not going to pass up a steamy night with a hot, sexy stranger…even if this is a first for her.
Rory and Ivy had a special connection right away that almost feels like they’ve know each other for much longer than the few hours spent together. When he’s alone and back in his own reality, Rory finds himself thinking about her and wanting more time in Crescent Cove. How could this ever work out with people who live on opposite coasts and have completely different lifestyles and goals for their lives? Working with Kellan and his friendship with a certain rocker, Ian Kagan (), who spends alot of time with his fiancee’s family in nearby Turnbull, keeps Rory coming back and his mind on Ivy. Now that she knows what he does for a living, Ivy is fearful of trusting him but really wants to hope for more and Rory feels like running, even if his heart says something entirely different.
What a sweet, sexy and funny story this was and with the added bonus of Kellan and Maggie, along with Ian and the very pregnant Zoe, there was witty hilarity, new friendships forming and love and music everywhere.
I have enjoyed the entire Lost and also Found in Oblivion series as well as the Rock Revenge Trilogy (have to recommend ALL of these) and got a big kick out of reading Rockstar Daddy, with Kellan from Wilder Minds so, it was a given that I would have to dive right into this book as soon as it was released. I hope there are more stories with crossovers like this one so I can keep up with the lives of favorite characters, bands and anything else that Taryn Elliot and Cari Quinn write. What a team they are and I personally can’t wait for whatever they cue up next.
This book was so amazing it was like once you start it you did not want put it down it was that good. Ivy and Rory were such an outstanding couple. They made a great team. I did not think they was going to make it at first but in the end it all worked out for them. I’m so glad. One thing I have to say is that the book was too short lol. I want the book to continue on but I guess when they say a good but must end at some point then it has too but I totally wish it was longer. The book was that amazing. I hope we get to see more of Ivy and Rory in the next book
I love Crescent Cove and I loved this story! It has so many of my favorite aspects. We have gruff Irishman Rory Ferguson that is coming from L.A. into town for a day to work on some music with his friend. After arriving in a snowstorm he ends up checking into his B&B, heading to the local diner where he immediately is attracted to local girl Ivy Rose. Ivy is intrigued by this hot out of towner even if she doesn’t know a single thing about him. Well one magic night and Ivy thought that was it until one month later, Rory shows up looking for her. This commitmentphobe cannot understand why he keeps thinking about Ivy but he’s not stopping. These two are so adorable together and they really need to get to know each other because they have a big surprise coming in 9 months! It’s a fun and steamy story that stands alone however I recommend reading every book in the Crescent Cove series because they are so good and you should also go back and read the Oblivion series so you can really get to know Rory’s friends. It’s told from dual POV and I completely recommend this steamy rom com.
Rockstar baby has it all: Funny, sweet, steamy chemistry and babies. It’s another winner in the Crescent Cove series by the duo – Taryn Quinn. Rory meets Ivy in small town New York snowstorm and the sparks flew immediately. They both had other life plans, and their connection kept drawing them together. From the adorable nick names, the the Rolling Cones ice cream truck, the ice cream flavors (I want them- for real), strong women, musicians I loved all of it! It’s part of a series and may be read as a stand alone. You will definitely want to check out the rest of the stories by these authors.
I love revisiting Crescent Cove with each Crescent Cove/Dirty Dilfs boo that Taryn Quinn produces. This small town has such great characters and with this book, we get so much more! Rockstar Baby is a complete standalone story but for those familiar with Quinn’s previous stories, there’s the extra treat of crossovers as we get to catch up with some favorites from other stories/series. I loved how the characters were connected but if you haven’t read the other stories, please don’t let that deter you because it really isn’t necessary.
I loved the characters of Rory and Ivy. The Irish stud who is steeped deep in the rock world had a great connection with hometown beauty Ivy. Their chemistry was off-the-charts hot but their relationship was complicated. Rory’s job commitments had him traveling the world constantly. Beyond that though, he had no desire to be in a relationship due to issues in his past. He was a loner and liked it that way. Ivy, on the other hand, was happy living the small town life in Crescent Cove. She worked hard and had dreams of establishing her own business as well as starting a family. Rory was like a storm whenever he blew into town and he completely upended Ivy’s world.
Quinn’s writing is completely on point in this story. I felt as though I, myself was in Crescent Cove as well as Happy Acres with their picturesque descriptions. They also set up potential future couplings that I cannot wait to read about in the next books. Overall, I adored Rockstar Baby and think it’s probably my favorite of the series so far! It’s a definite must-read! 5 stars
Rockstar Baby is book 6 in the Dirty DILFS series. Rory is an Irish producer in the music industry. When a snowstorm hits he is stuck in crescent cove and has a one night stand, Ivy. Ivy has big dreams but she never planned on Rory. After their night together Rory leaves town only to come back again on “business.” Rory leaves Ivy once again, is it for real this time? Will Ivy be able to share her surprising news with him? I loved this book, Rory and Ivy were some of my favorite characters! I can’t wait to read what’s next!!
Just like the earlier books in this series, Rockstar Baby is sooo good! Rory is the sexy Irishman music producer and Ivy is the sassy small town waitress. I can’t stand the weak female characters so Ivy was perfect for me! She was tough, independent, ambitious & didn’t need a sexy man to complete her, she just got lucky and happened to find one! Rory was a workaholic on the run from some old emotions, but he finally opened up to Ivy, she was just what he didn’t know he needed. The supporting characters are hilarious and keep me anticipating the next couple we get to read about! These ladies are writing geniuses, they way they develop a cast of characters is incredible, the story lines are always interesting and I often times find myself wanting to be friends with the characters or live in these amazing towns they create. I’m not even surprised anymore when I read their books in one sitting. Another winner!
Rory and Ivy make a truly combustible couple. I love books that jump right into the good stuff, there’s plenty of time to flesh out feelings later. These two knocked it out of the park from the very beginning. While their meet-cute did lead to some sweet and intimate moments, they seemed to forge a deeper relationship each time they met up.
Rory’s got a lot of talent. He plays instruments, writes songs and produces music for all the top stars. He’s a city boy through and through. But Rory is reserved. He left Ireland for a better life with more opportunities, but abandoned his family in the process. Having your heart broken by a cheating ex-girlfriend and ex-best friend has also contributed to his reserved attitude towards women and his difficulty making friends. It will take someone with really extraordinary qualities to melt the ice around Rory’s heart.
Ivy is as small town as it gets, and she likes it that way. She’s strong, motivated to go after her dream of owning an ice cream truck and tough enough to take care of herself. She’s also sweet, caring and passionate. It’s no wonder Rory couldn’t resist her.
I loved seeing this couple work through issues like big city vs. small town, loner vs. friendly, kid averse vs. pregnant? While early sparks made great big flames, the real question is will the fire keep burning when reality sets in for this couple.
I loved the ride Rory and Ivy’s love story took me on. Now the only question left is what’s next for this dynamite couple. I hope we get to see more!
Cute, hot, drama, lust, love, all included in this sweet, (almost) love at first sight story.
The baby boom continues, but this time includes rockstar crossovers, from another series.
These two are perfect for each other, even if it takes a awhile and he had to find himself in the process.
This story is very well written, funny at times, deep at other times and leaves nothing to the imagination.
