Great storyline, flow and characters that draw you in and make you part of their world. Jackson and Meghan need to work out their issues to be together, but can they learn to trust?
Sigh. Loved this book. Jackson and Meghan were both good people. Sweet love story with a lot of steam with a happily ever after.
Entertaining
Meghan was trying to back some money singing in the streets until she could get a real job when a thief stole her cap and money. She gets hit on her beat up Toyota that is is also sleeping in by the one person she hasn’t seen since she was 18. Jackson was surprised who he hit and offered to help.
A sweet and enjoyable well written second hand romance. Likeable characters who all are well described and develops nicely through the story.
A romance that feels real in its progress and that makes the story so much better.
Enjoyable and captivating read.
An interesting well written second chance romance that was full of angst, drama, twists and turns, betrayal, passion, love, laughter, and sexy moments. The characters are sexy, well developed, and strong. This intriguing, funny, wonderful and entertaining older man romance had me addicted page after page.

A very sweet story. Yes, there was industrial espionage, betrayal, angst, drama, but, for the most part, this reader got to watch a romance unfold. Both the main male and female characters were strong, independent, gifted and mistreated in the past people. They unexpectedly meet up years after high school and reignite their friendship, which quickly evolves into a steamy romance. Both stay true to themselves and in so doing forge a path into the future that looks like it is going to turn out very happily for them. This reader came away with “feel goods” throughout them.

Meghan Paige is down to busking and sleeping in her car, after a string of bad luck. Meghan is a musician who still hopes to make it, and what she needs is to get a gig, a recording deal, and not to get sidetracked by men. Unfortunately, her luck doesn’t seem to improve as she crashes into a very expensive car. And it’s none other than Jackson Brent, whose brother Meghan had briefly dated, then Jackson quit the music business to become a very wealthy tech entrepreneur. Meghan was slightly hurt in the crash, Jackson will set her up in a spare room in his home, even though they hadn’t seen each other in twelve years. Jackson is working on a prototype and he is paranoid, that someone is out to steal it. Jackson had had a secret crush on Meghan when they played in a band together, but is she after his invention or was it their meeting really a coincidence?
ROCKING THE BILLIONAIRE is such a wonderful story, and Talia Hunter’s prose is so exquisite that it’s like a piece of the finest chocolate melting on your tongue! No asperities, no bitterness; simply delectable! Ms. Hunter describes Meghan so well, I couldn’t help but see Joan Jett in her prime, but with blue eyes and dreads! Meghan is a lovely character: I loved her integrity, her love of music, and her determination to succeed at doing what she really loves and never compromising. Ms. Hunter really understands the soul of a musician: Meghan thinks in songs, music is everywhere and means everything to her. For once, I really felt the character was a musician; they were not empty words. Meghan and Jackson have great backstories, and very different from what we usually see. Also a big plus: Jackson is not your typical billionaire-bad-boy-player; he is a man who has succeeded at what he was always good at.
I liked how the romance progressed, the attraction is palpable, and nothing was rushed. Jackson has trust issues, which Meghan understands as she has some of her own, and the conflicts were expertly handled. I also loved the little bit of intrigue that was well done. I couldn’t be happier that the story took place in Australia, as I could enjoy vicariously Sidney’s Opera House, which is my favourite building in the world. ROCKING THE BILLIONAIRE is an expanded version of the previously released novella How to Rock a Billionaire, and I think you will probably want to read this longer version as it was not filler that was added but layers and depth to an already great story and it made it even better. It was to read a story that is about people – even if they have occupations most of us only dream of – and who are not caricatures or cookie-cutter characters. ROCKING THE BILLIONAIRE is smart and sexy contemporary romance at its finest!
What a great second chance love story. Meghan and Jackson will warm your heart. They are filled with integrity and easy to like. They knew each other in high school where both had a love of music. He went on to become successful while she continued as a struggling musician. A chance accident brings them together again. A slow burn and some romantic times. So sweet how they bring out the best in each other. I read an advance reader copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to write a review. Beautifully written and a joy to read.
This wonderful second chance love story was intense and enthralling! Meghan’s music career hasn’t taken off like she hoped, while Jackson has put his high school band days behind him and focused on making his mark on the business world. A chance encounter thrusts them back into each other’s orbits and brings back all the questions about why they’d separated years ago. The way they bring out the best in each other as their love story progresses is beautifully done with amazing clarity of emotion delivered through music. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
