There’s always a morning after … hunter, who’s made this all personal.
Tiger knows their only chance is to get out of Huntsville and disappear into the endless black void of space. Unfortunately, his spaceship has been impounded, his trusty Pegasus rocket truck crashed, and it’s only a matter of time before his enemies figure out Lulah was once his lover, putting her and her family in mortal danger.
With time and options running out, Tiger desperately gambles on a far-fetched plan of escape that may be more dangerous than anything he’s faced so far. Around him, the Rocket City is exploding as his adversaries, old and new, driven by greed, revenge and brutality, will stop at nothing to get what they want.
“Rocket City Blues” picks up right where “Fox” left off. It not only continues the story but expands the “SSFC” universe, introducing more characters and broadening both scope and plot. It also provides more insight into the characters you already knew so well from the first book, opening windows into past lives, loves, secrets and tragedies, while maintaining the same level of intense action, smoldering passion and high stakes intrigue. All while building toward another nail-biting climax that’ll leave you asking the same question you asked after “Fox” …
“When’s the next book gonna be out?”
“Rocket City Blues” is the explosive sequel to J. Morgan Woodall’s “Like a Fox on the Run” and the second book in the “Southern Sci-Fi Chronicles” series. Like “Fox,” it’s a swashbuckling blend of action, adventure, science fiction, romance and sex that blurs lines and promises satisfaction for readers of many genres, male and female, young and old.

This is book #2 of the Southern Sci-fi Chronicles. Readers get your fans ready for the hot scenes that this author knows how to write. And surround yourself with snacks and drinks because this is a book not to be put down! Tiger Thomas is one of those men who I would love to have in my corner of the world. I would love to take a ride on his “rocket ship”. Enjoy this awesome book and let’s hope book #3 will be here before we know it!
It was a LONG wait but J Morgan Woodall has done it again. Starting right where Like a Fox on the Run left off. Tiger as usual isn’t really sure about anything. All he knows is that he has to protect Lulah and the kids, Amber and even Tex. There are a few new good guys and bad guys that turn up the action and adventure. Good cop and bad cop. Honest citizens and manipulative thieves. Old friends and new loves with some really hot encounters shall we say. Everything from girl/girl to human/animal hybrids getting frisky. The rockets and cars (I want a Mark III) The politician and his sexy wife. A Boogeyman that will be so similar to someone in office now…made me laugh out loud. Again J Morgan Woodall leaves us laughing and crying and maybe even a little hot and bothered at times. This is an absolute must read! If I went into anymore detail I’d give Too much away. ENJOY! You won’t regret getting it. Hopefully the next one in the series won’t be as long a wait. I can’t wait to see what happens next!!
This is book two of the Southern Sci-Fi Chronicles and It’s amazing! This is a sci-fi story that’s imaginative and chocked full of excitement, that will have you flipping the pages to find out what will happen next. This story has everything that I really enjoy, action, adventure, humor, surprises, and steamy scenes. I was enthralled with the storyline, the characters are top notch, the world building is incredible, and I was disappointed when came to the end. A amazing read and one I highly recommend.
I am in awe, J Morgan Woodall out did himself. The actio, suspense was spot on. Through this book I was kept on the edge of my seat waiting for the next thing to happen. Surprises at every turn. What happens next ? The array of characters was outstanding. Can’t wait for more. Well done J Morgan Woodall outstanding writing.
Rocket City Blues continues where Like A Fox on the Run left off. Tiger, Lulah, Amber and the rest of the crew keep bringing the heat in more ways than one. There is a thrilling, action-packed story that brings them all together and keeps you on your toes emotionally. From excitement to angst to a bit of anger, I felt it all and few more.
J Morgan still manages to keep it sexy as the character relationships expose raw desire. It definitely makes me want more of the story, of course.
