A Rock Star Kidnaps a Runaway Bride… crazy.
And somehow she’s turned the tables on me.
Now, she’s holding me hostage, and she won’t let me go until we hit every item on her sparkly new, completely insane bucket list.
And that last item?
That last item might cost me more than any fortune.
It very well might cost me my heart.
Rockaway Bride is a romping fun romance between a down-on-his-luck rock star and a boy band-loving preschool teacher, complete with a road trip, handcuffs, and fun with nuns. This romantic comedy stands alone with no cheating or cliffhangers and ends with a rockin’ awesome happily ever after.

Hilariously funny! I seriously could not put it down, except for the times I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes and couldn’t see the words. OMG!
If you’re in a bad or sad mood, PLEASE read author Pippa Grant’s books!
Rockaway Bride
A Rockstar / Kidnapping / Runaway Bride Romantic Comedy
By: Pippa Grant
Narrated by: Savannah Peachwood, Jason Clarke
Pippa Grant is fast becoming my go to author for romantic comedies. Every book of hers I have listened to is low angst, laugh out loud funny, enough steam to keep me happy and the characters are wonderful! This one is extremely entertaining. Dax, popular rockstar kidnaps Willow, a runaway bride from her future husband. Caught up in lust and adventure, these two embark on a new kind of relationship, finding that not only are things not always what they seem, but you may find life and love while checking off a bucket list! Loved every minute, with it’s funny scenes, crazy antics and had that warm feeling throughout the entire story.
Narrated by the talents of Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood, we had a team that lets it all out there. From amazing comedic timing, to passion filled, steamy scenes, this dynamic duo brought Dax and Willow to life. A better fit for personalities could not have been found. I loved their performance.

This Romantic Comedy and Rockstar romance is totally hilarious, sweet and sexy. Willow and Dax are wonderful characters. They are great together, and they share a strong chemistry. Willow is so beautiful, and fun. Dax is handsome. The secondary characters are also great. Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke did an amazing job with the narration. I love their voices together. I enjoyed my listening, and I highly recommend it.
Oh my goodness, I loved this book. Willow and Dax’s story is proof that having the right person in your life will cause you to flourish and shine brighter than you ever thought possible.
Really enjoyed Willow and Dax’s story. Very happy that they brought out the best in each other. Lots of fun and laughs.
What happens when a mild-mannered preschool teacher crosses paths with a crass rockstar? A book full of laughs, romance, and steamy bits. Willow and Dax are complete opposites but together they work. Adventure, mishaps, and hilarity follow them in this kidnapping gone wrong. Ms. Grant has a knack for writing books that leave the reader in stitches.
What a wonderful, romantic, wild ride! Pippa takes us yet again on another beautifully wondrous romp through the eyes of Dax Gallagher, rock star extraordinaire, and Willow Honeycutt, preschool teacher, boy band singer and runaway bride. The regular supporting cast pops in and new members are added as Dax and Willow fulfill their bucket lists while trying to find Willow’s scoundrel of an ex-fiancé who has stolen Dax’s money. I laughed, I cried, I melted. And what an epilogue! With each story, I wonder how Pippa can top the last – but thankfully and joyously, she does. Can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve for Hot Heir!
I loved Willow breaking out of her shell. I never knew what to expect and I was laughing hilariously through most of the book. What a fantastic story!
You’ll want your own rockstar and wish you were a ‘princess’ too
OMG! Dax and Willow are fantabulous! My bucket list is to be in this bookiverse so I can meet all these crazy, delightful, decadant, delicious, passionate characters. Dax is feeling lost and kind of low. Willow has just narrowly escaped becoming Mrs. Boring. They help each other find themselves. And of course, we get to see the rest of the crazy peoples in this world.
I really enjoyed this book. She has quite a few in this series but they are all stand alones if needed. I have read three of them and they were all wonderful. I love the sense of humor that Pippa Grant infuses into her characters and the overall story line. Definitely steamy and wonderful stories that everyone should enjoy!
Another fun, fast paced, steamy read from Pippa!
Rockaway Bride is the story of Dax and Willow.
A kidnapping gone awry! The crazy adventures of Dax and Willow! The way this story flows, you feel like you are right there with them!
Willow is tired of playing it safe, of “walking the line”. She wants to break free but really has never had the push she needed until Dax.
Dax is struggling…in life and in his music. He does something drastic to find his way back. Kidnapping Willow was his screwy plan to right his perceived wrongs against him.
The characters are fantastically funny, you get to check in with past characters. You get the witty dialogue that Pippa is so good at. You get hella steamy chemistry between Dax and Willow.
If you enjoy a light hearted, funny and smexy romantic comedy, then Pippa Grant is the writer to fangirl over! I am currently adding all her books to my TBR list!
Keep on writing Pippa! I know I will keep on reading!
More crazy from Pippa Grant. Dax is a rockstar who has lost all his money. Thats okay he’s going to kidnap Willow, fiancée to the douche who stole his money, so that he can get his money back. Yup, nothing goes according to plan from there. Willow enjoys her time for adventure and starts to drop her mantle of safety. Dax realises that not everybody wants him for what he can give them but for himself.
As this is Pippa be prepared for sheep, donkeys, nuns, stilt-walkers and dildos. Read and enjoy.
So Much Fun!!! This was another great ready from Pippa Grant!!!! Highly addicitive books, so funny and sexy and such a wild ride!!! Another hit!!!
This was my first Pippa Grant book and it was awesome!!! I had so much fun reading this book! For some reason I have been on a reading frenzy these past few weeks, reading a book to 2 to even 3 books (on weekends) a day and I hit the jackpot when I saw this one being mentioned. I had just finished another book and was thinking about taking a break (maybe clean the house!) but then I came across this book something about it just drew me in. Normally I would not really be interested in the whole misunderstanding storyline or one side disliking the other, but something about Willow’s character got me to click it.
This book was hilarious!!! I read a few reviews about it and people were saying how funny this book was. I’ve read books where I was laughing so much my stomach hurt, but its been awhile (1st few books of Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series). This book was definitely one of those. Its true, do not drink anything while reading this!
I so loved Willow, I didn’t read any of the other books so I was not familiar with how she came across in those books but it seemed like she was the quiet, good girl, preschool teacher who never took chances and seemed afraid to live. Well that sure changed in her book. She went on an adventure and it was all awesome! Nuns, cows, chasing chickens, donkeys, stilt fighters oh it was so fun!
And poor Dax, I felt so sorry for this guy!! I’m not too much of a fan of rock stars in my books, but I didn’t mind so much in this one. His only thought was to get his money back and then finally get back on his feet again. So funny from kidnapper to kidnappee, so funny!!
Overall, I loooooved this book, I really needed rom-coms so today was a great read day for me. Majority of the books I’ve been reading has been more on the darker side, so I really really needed to read Pippa Grant!
I absolutely love Pippa Grant’s books. This one was no different. I loved Willow and Dax. Her shyness disappears in the face of his brashness, and they get into some hilarious situations, and his reactions are hilarious. Dax and Willow are perfect for each other, as they bring out the best in each other, and they learn to conquer their problems together. Also, I absolutely loved Dax’s bandmates, and Willow’s friends and family. I can’t wait to read more about them.

How can a kidnapping and running away from a wedding lead to the greatest adventure and ultimate life lesson?
When I started this book, I couldn’t imagine how this book was going to turn out. After reading 6 books by this author in about three weeks, I have no idea why I doubted that there would be hilarity and heat. Just like I did with Ares in Beauty and the Beefcake, I completely underestimated Willow. I loved her sense of adventure and strength. Dax was a complete surprise.
I’m looking forward to what comes next for this group!!
Book Review: Rockaway Bride
Author: Pippa Grant
FIVE STARS
Amazing book. I have found all of Pippa’s books on Kindle Unlimited and I have binge read them ALL. If you have read any of Pippa’s other books, you will know right off the get-go that this romantic comedy is going to suck you in and hold you among it’s pages until you finish all the words and only then can you put it down.
All of Pippa’s books are stand-alones and you don’t have to read them in order, however there are chances that you might learn details about the previous books.
Anyway, this book follows Willow and Dax. Willow is running away from her wedding and Dax has decided to kidnap her to try and blackmail her fiance.
We learn so much about these two in this book and all the things are fabulous and the way the connect and grow as the story continues is just fabulous.
I cant say too much for fear of spoilers, but I will say, ALWAYS have your passport handy as you never know when you may be travelling. Accepting kindness from strangers can be scary but usually necessary. Nuns are people too. And ALWAYS avoid boxes in the road. Laughter is the best medicine and handcuffs have more than one use.
Love this book as much as I did the others. Now to wait for the next one.

I LOVE this series of stand-alones from Pippa Grant…. and cannot wait for the next instalment.
Dax and Willow’s story was packed with laugh out loud zany adventures, humour, heat and crazy hot attraction & chemistry. When we first meet Willow she is a little meek, doing what she thinks she should and not really what she want to do, she’s lived a pretty sheltered life, always considering others before her own happiness. Dax, on first impression, is a sullen, grumpy mess of a man…. and then you hear what’s happened to him and it quickly makes sense of why he is currently the way he is. He’s worked – and played – hard to build his band up and be the success they had been only to have things, quite literally, swiped out from right under him.
Lots of mead led to some mad decisions being made on both Dax & Willow’s parts that lead to lots of memories, freedom, trust and unexpected feelings! Craziness ensues and the two end up flung together and find out that there’s more to the other than they’d previously realised.
I really enjoy the fact that we catch up with characters from previous books in this ‘series’- Manning and his brothers, the Berger twins and their other halves – and while I thought Ares was my favourite leading man until reading Rockaway Bride, Dax is most definitely up there with him now.
I haven’t read the first two books featuring Parker & Knox and Sia & Chase and even knowing how things pan out for the couples, I will definitely be reading both stories.
I haven’t enjoyed a book with a rock star leading man for quite a while and I was delighted, though not entirely surprised, that Pippa Grant kept me entertained from start to finish with this great read.
I’m giving Dax & Willow 5 great big rockin’ stars!
What do a rock star, a runaway bride, a Scottish woman, a donkey, a cow and a bunch of nuns have in common? They all star in Pippa Grant’s latest romcom, Rockaway Bride. Add in the mix three Stolland princes, the Berger Twins and a few of the previous books character, and you have the most hilarious as well as sweet and sexy of all of Pippa’s books.
The best of Pippa Grant’s books so far!
Pippa Grant once again delivers a rollicking (rocking) love story full of high jinks, shenanigans, and steamy romance. This time she threw in some nuns and a goat just for kicks. So why only 4 stars, you ask? I wasn’t as enamored of Dax as I was of the heroes in the other books. Granted, the Berger twins are a lot to live up to, but I didn’t get the “larger than life” sense from him that I got from the others. He’s still has book boyfriend potential, but when having to choose between the aforementioned Berger twins or Mr. Romance…being a tattooed, bad-boy rock star wasn’t enough to get him to the finish line.
This is still a great, funny, sexy romance and I loved every minute of it. I read this in one (very late) sitting while traveling & I had to slap my hand over my mouth to keep from laughing out loud and waking my kids up. I’m so excited that Willow got the HEA she deserved. I won’t give away any spoilers, but I’m so glad she got kidnapped!
