It was a quick read for me. I enjoyed the plot and the characters. I found myself laughing and smiling even though there were some sad bits. I enjoyed the fact that it was a stand alone even thought there are other books in the McClendon saga. The author integrated the characters into the story so well that I went back and ordered the first book so that I get the backstory . I finished the first book and now will be ordering the other books in the saga.
4.5 stars. This book is story of Breezy and twin brothers, Connor and Carson. It is written in 3rd person from multiple POV.
Breezy has had a pretty rough start to her life. After tragedy, there are some breaks that come her way eventually leading her back to Falcon Ridge. Connor and Carson are dealing with stardom and some of the downsides of that. The tragedy when they were teens lead to guilt and has driven them apart. Carson is in s downward spiral when they are finally brought home to Falcon Ridge.
I love how Breezy has gained confidence in herself through her education, yet still struggles with grief and her feelings of inadequacy from her teenage years. She is wonderfully complex. I hate how Carson treats her in the beginning, but I love how she stands up to him and does not let him bully her. I love how sweet Connor is with her. There are some truly magical moments in this story as the three of them grow together in individual relationships and as a poly relationship. I love the family relationship dynamics at play, and I really adore Papa Joe.
Happy reading this book.
Have read the whole series. Waiting anxiously for the last one. To say I loved the series would be a huge understatement. I LOVE DL!! Keep ’em coming girlfriend!
the cowboys were great. loved that they wanted to share the love
LOVE THE BOOK AND THE SEQUIL
By the time you realize how weird and kinky it is you cannot stop.
Couldn’t put this book down. Had great characters and was a very easy read.
Couldn’t get into this one.
A little simplistic, but enjoyable.
Wow hot! Must read!
As much as I liked the book and recommend it, I’m sure the premise of a three some happily ever after is not appropriate is our present society. But, I suppose that in some cults or established communities it just might be.
Generally a good read, though sometimes the story got murky.
Very steamy and easy read.
Loved the characters. This is a good read!

Loved it.
I feel like the main characters weren’t very developed. I didn’t get a strong sense of self from them. Halfway through I was bored with this book, which was surprising as I have read and enjoyed other books by this author.
Enjoyable read if you like the genre. Although categorised as erotica, it doesn’t lack for story. I will say that I was somewhat put off that the author gave the heroine a career as an Occupational Therapist, but didn’t explain what an OT does, to those who kept calling her different things (PT, Nurse), . And even when considering opening her own place, she called it Physical Therapy and rehab. Yes OT can fall under rehab, but what OT would list her own profession under an umbrella, while emphasizing PT? Sorry, my own pet peeve. Anyway, enjoy the book.
