Rockstars live by their own set of rules…and these guys are no different.
Cruel. Privileged. Sexy. The summer alone with four rockstars in a beach house sounds like a dream come true.Wrong.What I thought was going to be my big break ends up being my own personal nightmare. I’m not learning about music. I’m not making music. I’m a glorified babysitter for one of the hottest bands around.Worse yet, … a glorified babysitter for one of the hottest bands around.
Worse yet, they despise me.
I’m their servant, not their assistant, and because I need this job, I can’t even fight back…
Until I do.
Trust me, I won’t let anyone take my big dreams away, especially not the four guys who do everything they can to make sure I know my place is not next to them.
ROCK ON is a full-length reverse harem bully romance novel.

Very well written. Strong character development.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Okay I am officially hooked!! Moore had become one of my fave authors so I was ready to dive into a new book by her. Aisley is ready to kick off her dream life of being a song write but everyone has to start somewhere right? When she gets a call back about a job she is uber excited until she finds out it is only to be an assistant to a struggling rock group. Deciding to take what she can get she shows up only to be met by four really big bullies. Determined to succeed she stays strong and over time things really start to get better as their true personalities come out. The evolution really sucks you in until you find yourself unable to put the book down until you literally run of words to read wishing there was more. Overall a fantastic new book that is total must read. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
I enjoyed this book. I have slowly gotten hooked on the bully romance type books and this one is interesting for a couple of reasons. The first, is that the characters are all adults. Most bully books are kids still in high school. I appreciated that because you still have those that bully and are bullied when they are older and out of school. It happens in all aspects of life, so it was nice to see that being portrayed here. The second reason why I found this to be interesting is the characters themselves. Each one of them is flawed and in need of someone to be there for them. Some are dealing with serious issues of assault, family issues, and deeper emotional issues. Some are just in need of some encouragement. Yet, eventually, they all come together in a way that makes them a cohesive unit. They have their ups and downs, but they are there for each other no matter what. I love Aisley. She is strong at times, but also not afraid to show weakness when it is necessary. But when it counts she is there to support these guys in any way that she can. Nolan is just slimy. Sean I want to keep. This book is a standalone, but has left the door open for a possible sequel and I can’t wait to see if that comes to pass.
I’ve been waiting for a good new Rockstars book for a long time,
Now it’s done, E.M Moore brings a new book that is so exciting and dramatic
Aisley’s dream is to be a songwriter one day her dream will come true and she will be invited to a record label
You can’t always get what you want
This story kept me excited from start to finish it was dramatic, emotional and hot,
secrets and humiliating, tears and pain ups and downs
The end of the book was interesting looking forward to the next books,
and what happens next for Aisley and her boys
Thank you!
If you are looking for a new RH Bully Romance that isn’t your typical High School/College fare, than look no further, because this book is it. I loved this Rock Romance with a Bully twist and Why Choose attitude. The characters grow and evolve over the course of the book, just like you would want in a great Bully read. And adding the Rockstars just makes it more interesting and entertaining. If you want to try something new, especially in any one of these Tropes (Bully, RH, or Rock), I think you will thoroughly enjoy this new book by E M Moore. 5 Musical Stars!
Ok, I need more of these guys and I really hope E.M. Moore gives it to us. I’m still seeing red after the last two chapters. I fell hard for all of these guys, hell how could I not?!?! Yup, I definitely need more lol
SCAM Alert! This is a story about a girl who kisses four rockstars. A couple of them pet her. The end.
Cute story a bit slow. I didn’t connect at all to the characters because I felt I was told the story rather tgen experience it. The first 65% was too much narration/explanation inside the females head. The guys were okay and while they had tragic back stories that’s all they had. The last 35% was the best part. It really picked up and I found some connection.
Thus book didn’t live up too my previous experience with this author. It was just lacking fir me, not that its a bad story. There are a handful of steamy times, but pretty mild. The last part was wrapped up waynto fast for my liking and the ending was brief. I hope there us another book, just so this one doesn’t seem so blunt.
OMG E.M. Moore did it again! She created characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. The Rowdy Rogues are amazing men who you start of not liking because how they treat Ainsley but by the end you will fall for each one like I did. Then there is Ainsley she is a strong kick a$$ character! I loved how she put all the boys in there place but then also was there for them when they needed to let out their demons. I really enjoyed watching each character grow through out this book and I really hope we get more of these characters…i am not ready to say goodbye to them and I want to see what happens in their next chapter of life. This is a must read
Rock On by EM Moore is her eagerly awaited new series and it’s super! Readers are in for a treat with this slow RH and as Book 1 in The Rockstars of Hollywood Hill, it means more EM Moore is on the way! The book is full of great edgy angst filled characters and Aisley, the MC is sweet natured, head strong but with normal insecurities providing an enjoyable read. We meet a slightly older group of talented musicians in Rock On but as Finnick, Ian, Adder and Sean learn to trust Aisley, their future and each other it evolves into a book of self discovery and belief. I’m such a fan of EM Moore and I totally enjoyed all the emotion and sweet moments in the book. Great read
Loved it but sad it’s over!! I fell in love with Aisley and her way of thinking!! This was another great book by E.M and so well written, love the story and the raunchyness!! It was amazing and I truly recomend this book to everyone!!
Oh my goodness I loved this book! It was so good! The character development was amazing and the plot and story line was fantastic! E.M.Moore knocked it our of the park! This story was simply amazing! There has to be a second book! Their story can’t be over it was so good but the ending left a lot of loose strings!!! But seriously if you haven’t read this book yet you need to it’s simply fantastic!
Rock On was absolutely fantastic! I devoured it in just one day and I’m praying there are more books to come. Each character had so much depth which can be rare in just one RH book considering there are so many main characters. The author touches on a couple sensitive topics and addresses them in a way that it adds to the story instead of feeling forced like it does in some other books I’ve read. I could feel the connection between each character and the group as a whole. Read the book. You won’t be disappointed!!
This is an interesting take on the bully genre and it’s a slow burn reverse harem to boot. I loved Aisley. She’s such a strong female lead. Throw in a band of hot guys guys and let your imagination go wild. I’m hoping this isn’t a stand alone as I would like more in Ainsley’s story. She’s one of the best characters I’ve read in a while.
This book is a must read! I love that EM is branching off into new areas, and completely excelling at it! Had me hooked the entire time, and I would highlight recommend reading! Also, the chemistry is just off the charts here, completely obsessed
Her dream is to watch and listen to her written lyrics sung by others.
Their dream is to return to the roots of where the music all began. To have the freedom and control of the words they sing.
One man brings them all together but not for her to write for them but to be their assistant.
Could this be the start of something great? or is there simply too much creativity in the atmosphere?
Oh wowsers!! I dont care who’s watching as I do my lil excited dance!!
I’ve not read the rockstar genre in quite a while. I needed a break, but this beauty is the perfect reintroduction to the world of music and mayhem!
Part music, part bully and a whole heap of sexual tension makes for a read that’s near to impossible to put down!
Ice and fire, heat and tension dance around notes so pure and true. Poetic and beautiful, gritty and real and that’s me in book heaven folks!
Shes naive and innocent, yet hopeful and stubborn.
They are dangerous, angry and cruel with an inability to trust the truth that stands before them.
So guarded and secretive, disdain flows from their very beings but maybe, just maybe there is more to them than what meets the eye.
I loved each and every member of the rowdy rogues they are so different yet come together upon the same page to make perfection possible.
E.M Moore brings you everything you need in a book and so much more too!
I’m going to be in a book funk after this, I just know it. That’s how good a read it is!!
This was another book that sucked me in from the beginning. As with all of the books I read by E.M. Moore I totally enjoyed stop to end. The main character a female determined to make it in the music industry doing what she likes writing songs and singing. Comes across a job offer working alongside a popular rock group and she’s ready and excited when she gets the call to come in for the interview oh, well that is until she finds out what the actual job is going to consist of. But she looks at the bright side and still accepts the offer figuring everybody has to stop somewhere. She begins her journey as an assistant to some hot Rockstar group that really don’t want anything to do with her being involved in their life. But she don’t let that stop her she continues I’m at the time dealing with whatever they throw at her. As the story goes on we get to understand the guys more and more and set to care about them and have feeling so it’s the situation in a different light. The chemistry between them and starts sparking and let me tell you you don’t want to miss it. The story ends without a cliffhanger but also at a spot in the story where it could be continued chosen. I personally hope that she does continue the series because I enjoyed it very much
I was so excited when I read the blurb for this book and could not wait to get my hands on it! It was everything I could want in a book and more! I absolutely love music. I constantly have song lyrics in my head and often speak them out loud. There is a song for everything and reading a book that gets the love of music on a soul level right just rocks! I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book because I have fallen in love with these characters and I want to know what happens next for them. Two thumbs way up on an epic story! I need more!
Moore has done it again. She has a knack for organically creating a believable and scorching hot Reverse Harem! I could not put this book down. I just died for each of the guys as they all had their own story and personality and you really fall in love with each one! I am so partial to Sean (drummers are hot) but all the guys can make you squeal and laugh out loud. I can not wait for the next one! It’s clear the story is not over but it didn’t end in a blatant cliffhanger which I really appreciated!
A one book slowburn that leaves the reader wanting Moore!
We get sucked into the rockstar role as we follow Shawn, Ian, Finnick, and Archer as they navigate making their sophomore album. In walks Aisley wanting to break into the music scene as a songwriter. However, as we all know everyone must start somewhere and Aisley is no different as their assistant.
Watching Aisley interact with these men/boys is wonderful. She gives as good as she gets and her relationship with each of the four grows at at different paces.
E.M. Moore is one of the best writers at allowing relationships time to grow and blossom into what it’s meant too. She never rushes perfection and that is what each individual relationship is, perfection.
I hope another book follows, but if it doesn’t I am more then happy with how it ended!
