Rockstars live by their own set of rules…and these guys are no different.
Cruel. Privileged. Sexy. The summer alone with four rockstars in a beach house sounds like a dream come true.Wrong.What I thought was going to be my big break ends up being my own personal nightmare. I’m not learning about music. I’m not making music. I’m a glorified babysitter for one of the hottest bands around.Worse yet, … a glorified babysitter for one of the hottest bands around.
Worse yet, they despise me.
I’m their servant, not their assistant, and because I need this job, I can’t even fight back…
Until I do.
Trust me, I won’t let anyone take my big dreams away, especially not the four guys who do everything they can to make sure I know my place is not next to them.
ROCK ON is a full-length reverse harem bully romance novel.

OH MY LORD! I need more. This book is absolutely amazing and the actual characters have their cracks but I love them all! I honestly can’t wait for more. I love that EM Moore’s books always has me feeling as if no time has passed whilst reading. I literally never want her books to end! This book you can’t put down. The characters are likeable in a way that once you read more, the more you understand them and their experiences literally broke my heart reading them. I’d love to see more. Hats off to you EM Moore, it’s superb!
ARC REVIEW Rock On by @e.m.moorewrites
After applying for a songwriting career at a record label, Aisley feels her dreams have come true when she gets called for a second interview. She finally gets to work with a famous rock band! However, sometimes you need to start at the bottom, and that’s what she does when she agrees to be the bands ‘ass-istant’. The band dont want her there. They want her gone, and the lengths they go to to try to get her to quit or be fired are more than mean. As the summer goes on however, Aisley discovers snippets as to why the boys react that way and why trust is not easy for them, and slowly they let her in. I absolutely love E.M Moores writing style, the words flow off the page so beautifully you literally get lost inside the world and her stories. Rock On does that, my emotions took a rollercoaster ride from feeling utter humiliation for the MFC, to heartbreak and devastation for some of the other characters, as well as so heart full when they start to open up. There is so much in this book, although it is wrapped up nicely at the end, I would love to have more.
She never disappoints! I first started reading EM Moore books when the Ravana Clan Vampires started and she just keeps getting better. One of the first books I read in reverse harem CM Stunich’s Rock-Hard Beautiful it made me fall in love with the genre. Rock On does that for me while also taking me back to that time, and EM like CM, 🙂 knows how to make you feel for her characters. EM is one of the authors that doesn’t allow her female characters to completely change as soon the men are in the picture. She allows them to hurt or be needy at times like all of us but keeps their core character (I hate books where the female character starts out strong and then, all of a sudden completely dependent on the male characters). EM tells stories that you just don’t want to stop reading, her characters come to life and progress naturally!! Enjoy the ride, and try not to be disappointed when you get to the end because EM has plenty of books just as great!
I really enjoyed Rock On. EM Moore brings us a delicious Rockstars book.
Aisleys dream is to be a songwriter and she takes a job being the assistant to The Rowdy Rogues. But little does she know it’s not all cupcakes and roses. The guys give her such a hard time. I seriously wanted to reach through my phone and smack them on more than one occasion. But as you continue to read, you get a better understanding of why the guys were d*cks. And your heart goes out to each and everyone of them. And when the sparks start to fly, let me tell you, they set sh*t on fire! The chemistry between Aisley & the guys is !
I am so excited to see there this series goes!
Everyone has to start somewhere. That’s what Aisley thinks when her dream job interview turns into a not so dream job reality. She’s determined though and she will do whatever it takes to make her dreams come true. Even if that means waiting on some spoiled rockstars. What she really wants to do is be a songwriter but as long as she is around music, she can make it through. The Rowdy Rogues aren’t having it though. They don’t need some label lackey there to mess with them. They have enough problems on their own and don’t need to add her to the mix. Their less than pleasant welcome doesn’t deter her at all though. She’s a tough cookie and nobody is going to stand in her way.
By now you should know that I LOVE me some EM Moore books. I’ve yet to read anything from her that doesn’t suck me in and hold me there until the end. This book is no different. I literally spent all day reading this book. My poor child was practically ignored (he’s 7, he was fine) all day b/c I was immersed in this book. It’s not my absolute favorite b/c the Ballers series still holds that spot but I definitely love this book almost as much.
EM can write some female leads that you can’t help but admire and Aisley fits that bill too. She knows what she wants out of life and she knows she’s going to have to work to get it. These guys don’t go easy on her at all either. Ian, Sean, Finnick and Archer are hell bent on keeping her out of their business. They have enough on their plate and really don’t have time to deal with her. At first you are like what the hell is their problem but the more we get to know them, the more we fall in love with them.
This story was much more than just a spoiled rockstars give assistant crap book. I’ve been in a funk and I have had a hard time really getting into books lately. Not that they were bad in any way, they were good books. I just wasn’t getting sucked in like I wanted. Until this book. I’m taking out the spoilers but this is literally what I sent after I finished reading.
I just finished it. Erin it was great! I loved it! Those boys have so much going on. And she’s just what each of them needed. I love how it wasn’t just an insta lust or corny. There’s real depth and emotion and story.
I know Erin pushed this book back b/c she wasn’t happy with it the first go round. I’m so glad she did b/c what she is giving us this time is an amazing story. Characters that make you feel so much for them. A story that tugs at your heart strings. Bad @ss rockstars who have the world at their fingertips and yet, have more problems than they can handle on their own. A fiercely determined female lead who, despite what is being thrown at her, holds her head high and fights for what she wants. Amazing job by this amazing author and a definite must read.
Oh and just a little side note, this DOES NOT end on a cliffhanger!! 🙂 While the story could continue, it could also stop where it is and we’d be happy. My understanding is that since this book was more difficult for her to write, she will write more only if the readers want her to. If the book does well. Again, that’s just my understanding of it. So if you really like it, make sure you leave a review and let her know.
I absolutely ended up loving this book. I’m honestly hoping this turns into a two or three book series. The main character, Aisley, is such a likable person and a driven person at a really young age. Her mind gets exposed with how real life isn’t always as good as she was grown up to think. The 4 rock gods turn into to characters with story lines I actually was intrigued to read. They all had real life struggles and they finally showed their true personalities in the end. Super easy to read this book after about 10 percent into it. Writing was done well with few errors. Would love to read a second book with them more open with her now big secrets are revealed. Would be cool to get more in depth to her character and where the men grow in this story.
E.M. Moore did it again… blew away all of my expectations! Rock On was everything and more. I couldn’t put it down and now I’m sad that it’s over. The characters had great depth and emotion. You could feel the bond between them all. Makes you wish they were real. I can’t wait for more from Aisley and the guys.
Bravo EM another book to be proud of! Aisley is a strong female character, continually challenged by seemingly selfish Rock Stars. Her motives are constantly challenged. Through the strain of her new situation, she continually works to prove her worth, to fight for her own dreams. I could not put this book down and the 5 cups of coffee before 10am are so worth it to have this story rolling and rocking through my brain!
