Madison Tierney’s a writer, whose husband, Thomas suddenly left her after 10 years; she is destroyed and now recently alone and divorced. She picks herself up slowly trying to restore her lost confidence and ability to love again. She follows her writing passion and ventures to follow a local band – Rolling Isaac’s and write about them, raw and real and how they follow their dreams. Her book is … is titled ROCK NOTES.
Madison’s ex wants back, and she is torn with the safe relationship she had with him and now new feelings that she is falling hard for the band’s vocalist – Max Rand (Madison calls him Rand) who is so handsome, sexy and several years younger than she is.
Each moment with Rand is intense and unpredictable. Rand comes to her with baggage that he has tragically lost love and has no love left to give. He fills his time with groupies and late nights. There are many interruptions and assumptions along their journey.
While Madison is writing ROCK NOTES…somewhere along the way she begins to write her LOVE NOTES, her own personal love letters for Rand. Both Madison and Rand appear to be able to write their feelings on paper and lyrics effortlessly, but have a hard time conveying them to one another.
Will she return to the warm awaiting arms of her ex-husband who still is in love with her?
Or will there be a new beginning for Madison and Rand?
Can these two empty souls feel love again?
Or will what ignites between them simply fade away after the concert lights dim?

Absolutely incredible story! Madison is a newly divorced and is following her dreams to become a writer. She asked to tour with the Rolling Isaacs, and she meets lead singer Max Rand. Their chemistry is hot and frustrating. As Max and Madison draw closer her ex decides he wants Maddy back. I couldn’t put this book down, it’s wonderfully written, …
I enjoyed the whole world this book is written in, the set up of how the characters meet and how they continue forwards. I liked watching the relationships as they built and all the things that they went through as a part of the storyline. I spent some time shouting things in my head at the characters at various points during the book, I got that …
An enjoyable and hot rock star romance that drew me in from the very first page all the way to the last page. I found all the characters to be enjoyable and the storyline to be really engaging,
This is my first time in reading this author with happy reader that I am starting at the beginning of a series not the middle as I sometimes mess up and do. Since I do not do much reading in this venue anymore but when this one tempted my eye thanks to the storyline. It shows how a woman Madison whom has been divorced still lives on without …
While somewhat roughly written this is one of the few books I hope never gets fully polished. The imperfect flow lends yet another facet of realism by making it seem as if the book is someone’s diary giving us a very intimate view into Madison’s heart.
I grimaced many times at some of her actions but then chuckled at myself. If I was grimacing I …
I thought that this was a beautiful book and well written. I totally loved it. I hope that I will get the chance to read the rest of this series.
Light from dark places
This story was a little bit out of the genres I usually read. That being said, the characters really pulled me in. There were many times that Fisher was able to evoke strong emotional responses. Madison’s journey was very relatable as were all of her responses and relationships. This story was ripe with mixed emotions, self …
The book was a good read. The writing style was very different and it took a bit to understand. Madison a very strong and emotional character. Madison has been recently cheated on by her husband and is attempting to build her career as a writer while dealing with all these emotions. Max Rand, is Madison’s writing subject and she follows his band, …
Such a great story. I loved the personalities of the two main characters (both the wonderful parts as well as their flaws). It was a well-written, slow burn, emotional, satisfying story. Can’t wait to read more by this author.
Even though I’m not too crazy about insta- love, I didn’t mind it in this book. I thought the love story was so cute (Even though some of the characters annoyed me at times ahem Thomas). I will be continuing on with this series to see what happens with Rand, Madison, and the rest of the characters next!
What a beginning to a GREAT series! Could hardly wait for Book 2!
This was a good story of a rock star and a
Journalist who falls for him. Madison was happily married until her husband decided to leave her for a coworker. Broken hearted she decides now it’s time to do what she wants. She wants to follow a band and write a book about it. And that’s what she does. Rand is a rockstar who has love issues. Parts …
First off, let me just say that I have never read a book with so much licking. And by that I mean on the face and ear area. You know that saying, “I licked it so it’s mine”? That phrase is so appropriate for this book. It’s like Rand is licking Madison all the time. It’s kind of weird in a way. But then maybe that’s just part of his rock star …
