Marsha West has completed filming for her season of the Rock Fck Club. Actually, she is one rocker short of the ten she contracted to fck. Can she get her contract changed? If she can’t will she lose the rock star she wants to keep? And what about the next season of RFC?Who will be the next star?Who will be f*cking whom?
It is so very easy to slip back into Mankin’s books, no matter how long you might have been away. Her style is effortless and brings the reader right into it all from the first. Be warned though, her books are also super angsty, which I totally love! Though I had an ARC of this book, I discovered I had managed to not read books 2 and 3, so it’s important to highlight this is not a standalone book at all. At a minimum, reading book 3 is necessary.
But even without being caught up, the emotion in the book was strong and the story itself was strong, mostly understandable, and very relatable. I did go back and read books 2 and 3 after though so I could understand some of what had happened.
Mankin’s books are like an incestuous little family where everyone has a history, however platonic, with everyone else. The rock world is very small and it feels even smaller in RFC. The bro code and the BFF code are very far away and trust me, even best friends get together with others’ exes. But finding out the whole story is always important because those dark corners illuminate everything else.
As for Ivan and Mars, it was a sweet, angsty, and compelling ride. Their main book was 3 but book 4 really opened up more of their story and gave them extra time to shine and to iron things out into a true HEA. And Ivan and Mars definitely deserve an HEA after everything they have gone through. I love how Mars hides her soft side under her prickles and toughness. I love how Ivan works slowly to help her (despite some not so nice words from Ty) but how he isn’t a pushover either and doesn’t let her get away with stuff. I especially loved how Raven and Lucky helped Ivan and Mars get their stuff together and figured out.
While I admit, I am super eager to read about Sky and Rocky, the next book’s pairing was not what I was expecting so, I also love how Mankin can surprise. Super glad I am back with the RFC and so excited to see what happens next.
An Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) of this book was received from the author. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
I really fell for Marsha and Ivan as a couple. I started this Novella and could not put it down! Marsha has a huge dilemma on her hands. I held my breath on many parts of this story. The angst of what would happen next for Marsha just held me! I was glued to this book and am excited for the next book!
Who will be the next RFC girl? Hang on with both hands as you will be on a ride for your life! You will not know what hit ya! #MUSTREADSERIES
I’ve enjoyed RFC from the very beginning and have always loved the premise of women who own there sexuality and aren’t wallflowers who blush at the word f**k and that adding to the characters and writing is why I enjoy this so much.
Marsha is 1 rocker away from fulfilling her contract and after meeting Ivan she’s not sure she even want to anymore cause she doesn’t want to risk losing him. This was a quick read and I can’t wait for the next one!
I voluntarily reviewed a advanced readers copy of this book
OMG yet another amazing addition to this smoking hot series! Book 4 is a quick read, but there’s lots of awesomeness packed within its pages. Ivan and Mars are electric together, and have lots of heartfelt moments throughout this story. Great to see Raven and Lucky again, plus lots of other RFC characters we’ve come to know over 4 entire books. My body is ready for Book 5! Gimme gimme.
Marsha has her contract for the tv show about hooking up with rock stars. She wants to keep Ivan but her past keeps her from moving on. Will she do the last hookup or choose Ivan. Ivan is doing his best to prove to Marsha that he loves her and is worth taking a risk to have a relationship. A cliffhanger ending makes me want the next book now.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving a review.
Amazing.

Book 4 in this addictive series,
Sexy ,sensual and emotional Marsha and Ivan try to find their HEA amongst the chaos of the Rock F*ck club. Its a bit of a rollercoaster and I enjoyed every minute of it.
This story will have you hooked and wanting more ,I am so intrigued for book 5.
A brilliant edition to this series.
Rock F*ck Club book four continues the story of Marsha and Ivan. There’s plenty of twists, friction, and steam. You get to see old characters from the previous books and get introduced to new characters. With the end of Marsha’s contract, who will be the next girl in the Rock F*ck Club?
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
*4.5 Stars*
Rock F*ck Club reads like a reality TV show and therefore picks back up right where we left off. I admire how MMankin uses this format to convey the reality of the journey these women are on. I’m certain she never considered this series would become so relevant.
I knew with Marsha’s past, her road to happiness with Ivan wasn’t going to be smooth. I appreciated how MMankin kept it real – showing Marsha’s insecurities and vulnerabilities despite Ivan’s declarations of love. I kinda felt like RFC #4 focused more on being in Marsha’s head than on seeing how she and Ivan were going to make a go of things. While this was realistic considering Marsha’s past, I missed seeing more of them as a couple.
I also like the way MMankin conveys the dynamics between Ivan and his bandmates. And she has me even more curious about the prickly drummer, Tyler.
The inclusion of Joey’s Band and the 4 women who comprise it was interesting. MMankin has me very intrigued about all their stories but particularly Jo’s. However, I missed Barbara. And Sky. 🙂 I’m dying to know who will be the next RFC star.
I’m eager to see how Marsha works things out with Suzanne, the head of WMO. I think her tack of it being her choice not to sleep with other guys now that she and Ivan are an item makes complete sense with the RFC mission – evening the playing field. But we’ll see if Marsha’s plan works.
I’m happy with where things stand for Marsha and Ivan but I hope to get future glimpses of them.
Hot and sexy, with all the passion and angst you expect from the Rock F*ck Club. I devoured this novella, and highly enjoyed reading about all my favorite people in this series(especially Marsha & Raven), and meeting a few new ones too. I’m super excited to see what the author comes up with for the third season of RFC, and the journey the new girl will go on. I simply adore the premise of the whole series- down with the double standards! #GirlPower
This book is more of Ivan & Marsha’s story. It was more like a novella. Continuing their story and helping to set up for book 5.
Mars time as the current RFC girl is ending but a new girl will be starting her adventure in the next book.
You would absolutely want to start from the beginning of this series since otherwise there are many parts that will not make sense.
I recieved this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review.
Another great episode of RFC & Marsha & Ivan’s story.
How beautiful things are working out between the 2 of them. Though its not as easy for her so much on his tour bus with the way Ty’s reaction to her is, friccion on there then makes things unwelcomed for her.
So we see how she needs to be on her own as she’s feeling those untrusting feelings again from her past & Ivan knows she’s keeping something back from him. And they both want out of RFC even though she’s needs to have 1 more Conquest, which she’s finding it she has to try to confince Suzanne the Executive for WMO so we’re if things will work out for them to go the way they want to.
We also meet a new all girl band Joey’s Band, before they head off to their next stop over.
So I’m sure we’ll see more of them in the future.
I pretty much read this in one sitting. This is a novella and a continuation of Marsha’s story. It is also an introduction to some new characters and who will be the next female on the RFC reality show. Marsha is still worried about hew new relationship so we see them still working on some things. I can’t wait to see what comes in the next book.
“Love isn’t a guarantee for happiness. It just means you have someone beside you on your journey.”
I was definitely excited to carry on with this story, as I loved the idea of it when I read the first book, and wanted to know how it would continue. We’ve got Marsha or Mars and she is now happy with her man, Ivan. But she still has one more guy to go. While we don’t actually get an answer to if she’ll have to finish her last guy of the contract, we get her trying to figure out how to get the next star for the next season of RFC. And her hope that a video she finds will count for her last rocker. Unfortunately that video is causing issues for another character we know and love, even if it happened before her current relationship/non-relationship began. As usual the steamy scenes were HOT as can be, and then there were also tear-filled moments as well. Can’t wait to start book 5!
It’s a perfect next installment of the Rock, F*ck Club! Finishing Ivan and Marsha’s story was worth the wait, and there’s a bit more to come for these two.
Mankin always sets the bar high with great characters and a complex story line and this book is no different. While Marsha tries to figure out a way out of fulfilling the contract for the RFC, lead singer Ivan works to convince the band, specifically their drummer, that Mars is there to stay. This push and pull finally comes to a head with this book but leaves the reader wanting more.
Readers need to start at the beginning of this series to understand how RFC works but it’s a joyride worth taking.
Yikes the last page has been turned and I am swimming on a book high right now. Sigh… this book takes me back into the rock world I love. It has strong, feisty women who aren’t afraid to speak their mind. They also aren’t afraid to be adventurous and explore their naughty side. Eek go girl power. Yep I LOVE that message.
Of course it has yummy bad boy rockers who keep you drooling and at times irritated with their alpha attitudes. Ok yes and slightly turned on by it as well. Wink. Don’t judge me. Haha.
This story is about Marsha and Leon. You get to experience all the drama they are dealing with early in their relationships. They are trying to make decisions and deal with those who are not as excited about them being together.
Plan for this story to give all the feels and leave you asking, WTH?! Hmmm tapping my chin, with several questions. Yep leaving you with that, which is similar to how I feel at the end of this book. Eeeekkk WHAT? WHO? More couples to come. I can’t wait. SO GOOD!
Happy Reading Everyone! XOXO
Rock F*ck Club #4 is the perfect bridge from book 3 to book 5. We get just a little more of Marsha West and her decisions regarding the show and the man who has stolen her heart. There is the right amount of angst as Mars doubts the strength of her relationship with Ivan and whether or not they can truly trust one another and stay together. Add the stress of finishing out her contract with WMO, a few of her prior conquests showing up to throw her for a loop and the still at times shaky time with her bestie in Raven and you’ve got one jam-packed novella.
But Mankin once again guides us beautifully, leaving us wanting so much more as the newest contestant for the 3rd season of RFC may just be the most unique and feisty one of all. With a bit of a surprise little ending as the newest RFC member lays eyes on a man who may just break through her tough as nails persona, I’m all ready for Rock F*ck Club #5.
This series is truly some of Mankin’s best work to date with each book even better than the last.
5 solid stars!
love this series
emotional beautiful intense broken heartstopping gripping love story of Mars and Ivan
Had me on the edge
ready for more
A nice addition to the Rock F*ck Club series. I enjoyed reading how committed Ivan was to Mars & how they both worked to overcome the obstacles in their past & move forward as a couple. I look forward to reading Jo’s book and I really hope there is a book about Rocky & Sky soon.
I love the premise of this series and cannot wait for RFC #5.
RFC #4 is the continuing story of Marsha and Ivan as well as introducing us to the next participant of RFC.
The whole premise of the series is 1 girl, 10 rock star hookups. For a tv show. Sorta a realty show of a groupie.
But as I’ve written before, this series is one that SHOULD be read. Take out the premise of the book and you have female empowerment at its most basic level. A woman’s right to choose. About everything! If she happens to find someone she wants to spend more time with, well that’s just a bonus.
Read this series!
This series is a continuous one, so you really should read the first 3 books before tackling Book 4. This one is a shorter book that gives us Marsha’s feelings and ambivalence. Can she trust her heart? And is Ivan giving her what she really wants and needs? I was back and forth on this one, and with the others who came before still trying to stay in the running, it was hard to say who would come out on top. Meanwhile, she still has a contract with WMO, and it remains to be seen how things will pan out. A good bridge story, but there is still more to come!
