Marsha West has completed filming for her season of the Rock Fck Club. Actually, she is one rocker short of the ten she contracted to fck. Can she get her contract changed? If she can’t will she lose the rock star she wants to keep? And what about the next season of RFC?Who will be the next star?Who will be f*cking whom?
Michelle….MICHELLE MANKIN!!!!!
Rock F*ck Club Book #4 needs to have a warning at the front of the book: This book is HAWT as Shit….make sure you have a fire extinguisher close!!! lol
LAWD…I need a cold shower after this read!!! Goodnessss it was SMOKEN HAWT!!
Sooo this book is about Ivan and Marsha. You will be going over some of the club rules in this one. She is short a rocker. She is wanting to change the contract…but will she F*ck everything up and lose the one thing she didn’t want to??
Book # 4 is a Novella and you will be learning who will be in book #5…and I am sooo excited to get that book in my hands!!!
Eeepp Michelle Mankin got me all excited and the anticipation is going to kill me while I have to wait for the 5th book in this series…lol
Another 5 “You Effing Rock Mankin” Stars!!!!
“Lose him now or lose him later, and I will lose him once Suzanne holds my feet to the fire and tells me to fulfill my contract or else.”
I have a love/hate relationship with the author, Michelle Mankin. I love her stories and I hate it when I have to wait for the next one. That is especially true in this case. This installment of the Rock F*ck Club is a short interlude that will get your juices flowing and leave you feeling like the literary groupie you probably are if you enjoy rockstar romance as much as I do.
Marsha is the one that started the #GirlPower ball rolling with her video that received so much attention that RFC was born. She never thought that she would get to do more than be behind the camera. Now that she’s found the rock star that rocks her world she’s at risk of losing him. Can she find a way to keep him and RFC happy?
And let’s not forget that since her reign is ending a new RFC girl must be chosen. Are you excited to find out who it will be? If you aren’t now, you will be by the time you get to the end of this book. You’ll be bouncing with excitement just like I am. I CAN’T WAIT!
I have no problem admitting I’m addicted. No need for a 12 step program, as long as the dealer/author keeps me supplied, I’m ready to rock!
What a great book in the RFC series. I couldn’t wait to start this installment and I wasn’t disappointed. I love a good rock and roll love story and this book delivered. You finish this book with a great hook for the next and I can’t wait to see what book #5 has in store……
I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.
Things pick up right after the end of book 3, and although Mars has found her man, she still has the sticky problem of an unfulfilled contract that a b*tch in a suit fully intends to hold her to. At some point, I really want to see Suzanne Smith get taken down a few pegs. But in the meantime, Marsha has to go into battle planning mode to appease WMO, find a way to complete the contract without torpedoing her new relationship, win over a certain one of his bandmates who is an epic a$$hole to her, and try to push down her instinctive reaction to run when the going gets tough.
Of course there have to be shenanigans and misunderstandings but the make up is half the fun and oh so smokin hot! The stage is set for book 5 so now onto the next…
Fascinating Glimpse Into The Rock Star Lifestyle – 5 Stars
I enjoyed reading this novel that did not seem to take too long to read. Fascinating getting into the world of rock and roll stars, what it takes to make a career of performing their music, all the support personnel it seems to take to put one one show; to turn around and have people to tear the set down, pack up and convoy on to the next town. On the face of it all it would appear to be a gypsy-type life. Again, overlap of characters from the previous novels appear in this novel as well, with more character development for pre-existing characters and highlighting and introducing new characters. Interesting developments toward the end of the novel in what appears to be the ramp up of a new story line for the next novel in this series. Looks and sounds good …
I love this series, this book took it to a different level, Marsha and Ivan’s story is just amazing, how she needs to pick up a rockstar, but she finds more than what she ever foresaw, now she needs to figure out if she picks another to fulfill her contract and jeopardize her relationship with Ivan. This book starts after book 3 so I suggest reading previous ones if you haven’t done so.
This RFC story is really interesting.
Marsha West is one rocker to end her f *ck contract, but if she fulfills her contract, she risks her relationship with the really important rock star Ivan. But if she doesn’t comply with it, she may have legal problems.
As she tries to deal with this dilemma, Ivan tries to convince his band that Marsha is there to stay.
Will they be able to get rid of the “problems” or will Marsha have to fulfill her contract and consequently lose Ivan?
I recommend the reading.
Michelle knocks another one out of the park! Makes me wish I could have a rock star of my own! Mars & Ivan’s story may be short and a quick read but it does not lack any heat!! I loved that Raven was in their story with good advice, there were hint of a Sky/Rocky story (I hope!), and the introduction of other new characters! I’ve loved every one of the Rock F*ck Club books and can’t wait to read what she writes next!
Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! What is a girl to do when she has to choose between love and the network she has a contract with?
Stay tuned after this commercial break for the conclusion of RFC. You are not going to want to miss it!
This is the conclusion to Mars and Ivan’s story and it introduces the next lady to the club. Good storyline. We get to read the ups and downs these two go through to get their HEA. The story was entertaining I didn’t read the 3rd book, so I was a little curious as to what happened in their journey, but I wasn’t too lost that I couldn’t enjoy it. I recommend you read the books in order so you know what’s going on. Can’t wait to go back and read their journey and read about Josephine.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Rock F*ck Club #4 is a good short read. This one is more of Marsha (Mars) and Ivan. SO I always loved Marsha but with Ivan it took me a bit to warm up too. In this one Ivan continued to prove while he’s prefect for Marsha. This one is kind of in-between to set us up for book 5 but it’s not just fluff, it has a good storyline. There are ups and downs and plenty of feelings with this one. There are some new people that pop up and I now I can’t for book 5.
4 1/2 Stars!
A rock and a hard place, yeah pun intended. That is where Mars finds herself in this book. Between obligations that don’t mean a darn thing and the man that she has fallen for, Ivan. How can this work? Well this book shows what determination and love can really do for both of them. Insecurities and past hurts are the theme in this amazing read.
It isn’t just about the heat, no it is more it is acceptance and a chance at so much more. Rock F*ck Club is turning out to be more that just some girls out to conquer the world of Rock n Roll on man at a time, instead it is one heart at a time.
A must read series!
I’ve been reading the series, and you really should start at the beginning to understand everything. This is the end of Mar’s experience. She has finally found Ivan, now she has to figure out a way out of her contract. Her insecurities don’t help. We meet the nurse star of Rock F@ck Club, Jo and Joey’s band. Absolutely a cliffhanger. Another great book about friendship, love and getting over the past. Plus great love scenes
Marsha finds love and friendship and herself
The continuation of Marsha’s story. She wants Ivan. Ivan wants her. Suzanne has told her she still owes them one more rockstar. Kind of puts a wrench in the HEA Mars & Ivan want and deserve.
While one part of the story is trying to solve this dilemma, it is also the story of friendship. Friendships. You have Ivan and his bandmates. Marsha, Raven, Sky, Barbara, and the ladies of Joey’s Band who Marsha meets. Friendship blooming between Ivan & Lucky.
One of the major themes running through all these stories is girl power. It isn’t just steamy times with hot rock stars. Or men posturing over “their women”. It is about strong, beautiful, independent women owning their bodies, their hearts, their actions, their future. Not fighting each other constantly for the men’s attention. Putting their hearts into their friends too. Not just a man. Helping each other find their success and happiness.
We get steam, friendship, rockstars, some angst, a little partying, sisterhood, brotherhood, family, and some more steam.
We also get some crumbs leading us to RFC #5. Can’t wait!!
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Mankin sure does know how to make her rock chicks relatable! I enjoyed this new foray into Marsha’s life, and I can’t wait to see how she and Ivan will do while trying to make a go of it.
Rock F*ck Club #4 was another great read by Michelle Mankin. Marsha West has just finished filming her season of Rock F*ck Club. Unfortunately she is one person short of the ten rockers that she is contractually obligated to have sex with. She meets Ivan who becomes rock star number nine. She never expected that she would find what she’s been looking for in a relationship with Ivan. If she finishes the contract she could lose Ivan, but if she doesn’t than she breaks the contract she is obligated to. I enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Michelle Makin.
Michelle Mankin has done it again! Rock F*ck Club #4 was an excellent read and addition to the RFC series.
QUOTE: I remained the current— not the former— star of a reality show, where I had signed a contract to fuck rock stars. Ten of them. I lacked one more to fulfill my obligation. But if I fulfilled that requirement, I might lose the one rock star I wanted to keep. No matter what, I had to find a way to escape the legalities that bound me. Ivan was worth it. The love we’d found together was worth it.
Marsha West had joined WMO for the second season of Rock F*ck Club…
QUOTE: The Gods of Rock Tour.
4 summer concert venues. 10 famous rock stars to f*ck.
Only she fell short of the 10 famous rock star to f*ck when she fell for Ivan. Rock F*ck Club #4 in a companion novel to Rock F*ck Club #3. Allowing the story to continue exactly where readers left off and expands the romance between Mars and Ivan. It’s short and sexy and offers readers the realistic ending to both the romance and the contract Mars signed with the WMO producers to f*ck 10 famous rock stars…
Michelle Mankin delivered the perfect novella to showcase her Rock F*ck Club stories as well as to whet our appetites for the main event that’s coming along next week, otherwise known as Rock F*ck Club #5. I can promise you if you’ve never picked up a rockstar romance by Michelle Mankin in the past then you have seriously shortchanged yourself!
QUOTE: Ivan was lean, sculpted, and lethal, a rocker who sang like a legend and fucked like a god.
Mankin’s books are entertaining, sexy as hell-o, and consuming. You should prepare to binge read her series and read individual books straight through in one sitting. I can never put the books I have had the pleasure of reading down. I love that about these stories—that they are not only attention-grabbing but that they remain so from one book to the next. Mankin writes rockstars the way I would expect them to be realistically, i.e. assholes—at least initially anyway—but they are assholes who open up to the right women. As far as romance heroes are concerned, I have a favorite brand for sure, and rockstars and assholes are both HIGH on my list. Another reason I loved this series so much is how unique the storylines, it’s undeniable that the concept of the Rock F*ck Club stands out in as truly being original and unexplored—even to this rock star romance junkie!
QUOTE: Love doesn’t work when I’m added to the equation. I can’t think of any advantage for him being with me.
I am already jonesing for a reread of the first few books in anticipation of the coming release of Rock F*ck Club #5. If you haven’t read these books, I highly suggest reading RFC #3 before reading #4 at the very least. Although it could be argued that #4 is a standalone, it really just enhances the storyline of book 3. Also, as a side note: I hate novellas, yet as a girl that does dislike them, I think it’s funny that there was no way I was going to rate Rock F*ck Club at less than 5 stars. That’s how much I enjoy the author and the story… Make sure you one-click this one right away… and while you’re at it, get your hands on the other books in this series. If you love the concept as much as I did just reading the blurb, you are going to flip for Michelle Mankin’s storytelling and characters!
Yay! Book 4!! Great revisit to the RFC world! I’m glad to be back in this story again. Ivan is hot and I can’t wait to see the future of this couple! I also have my opinion of who next season’s RFC star should be!
Marsha should be having her HEA with Ivan after all the drama it has taken to get together. Life is not a fairy tale and sometime life and commitments we make have to be upheld.
Marsha wants to be with Ivan, yet it has to be on her terms and is willing to compromise but not being told what to do. Ivan had to learn he wants Marsha, but a relationship is full of compromises. I like the drama in the book and can’t wait to see where Mankin will take it.
At the end of book 3, Ivan (with his whole heart) serenaded Marsha in front of thousands of fans and whisked her away back stage. He proclaimed his love for her and she him and all was right in the world.
But…happily-ever-afters aren’t always that easy. It can’t always be tied up with a pretty bow and set aside. Marsha still has some issues to work through and book 4, gave her that time.
1. The evil exec is forcing her to fulfill the 10 rockstar requirement even though #9 has her heart.
2. The drummer isn’t too keen on a girl getting in the way of their band’s dynamic. Especially if he doesn’t feel she’s truly “the one” for Ivan. He’s so cynical about love, he can’t even fully grasp that concept.
3. Mars still has emotional trauma to work through. Her childhood really did a number on her and it’s affected her confidence and self worth. Her bestie AND Ivan have to help her keep from self sabotaging this new relationship she wants so desperately.
For a quick read, book 4 gave both characters the true HEA they needed as well as made way for the new RFC chick to start her season. I’m curious as to how that’s gonna go.
