10 cities in two weeks 10 famous rock starsOn my kneesAgainst the wallOn my titsI don’t care. As long as I get the evidence to prove it.Why?Because I caught my former prick of a boyfriend from Heavy Metal Enthusiasts doing a groupie doggie style backstage on the night we were supposed to be celebrating our 1 year anniversary. He told me I was too uptight.Too vanilla.Too boring. So I got drunk with … uptight.
Too vanilla.
Too boring.
So I got drunk with my bestie, Marsha West, the aspiring videographer. I ranted. I raved. I came up with a crazy idea.
What I didn’t know was that my best friend recorded me. Marsha put the video up on YouTube. It went viral with 10 million hits. Now I’ve got fans and sponsors offering me big bucks.
Rock stars are volunteering to be my fck buddy.
Hollywood is calling.
I get to choose which rock stars I want.
The stakes are high.
This sht just got real.
What could go wrong?

Could not get into story. Did not like, nor finish.
I was surprised time and time again. Just when I thought I had figured out the characters things shifted. Loved the book!! Would love to read the next book in the series.
A little shallow for me but it did have some good points in it too. Definitely steamy
Terrible plot, trite language
It wasn’t a bad book, just was expecting it to go a different road. Good concept but i don’t feel it achieved it idea
Groupies take back your sexual power is ostensibly the raison d’être for RFC. But it’s a love story with a very patient male protagonist, an intriguing heroine, and a bit of Navajo mysticism. Oh, and who can forget the rock stars and BTS after party shenanigans? Fun read.
Loved it. Can’t wait for more.
I was a little unsure going into this book but I have read other books by the author and enjoyed them so I gave it a try. Raven caught her rock star boyfriend cheating so she starts ranting about what if the tables were turned. What if the girls would just love ’em and leave ’em. She wants to go around to concerts and get with someone in the band and then leave him. Her best friend records her saying this and women all over are supporting her. Then a network calls to make it into a reality TV show. But what happens when she actually falls in love along the way? This book had my emotions all over the place. I would be happy for Raven, then sad, then mad at her for the choices she was making. I even found myself judging her which I thought, I wouldn’t be judging a guy in a book doing this, which is the point. Guys get away with this behavior so why can’t a girl have some fun. The book is interesting and nothing really what I thought because how can there be a romance when she is on a tour to sleep with multiple guys? Things are definitely complicated. The book is really about self discovery. Raven has family issues and has suffered much loss and she really just wants to figure out who she really is. The author has written other series with Rock Bands and she gives those bands a shout out in this book so I thought that was fun.
I am so lucky and got to read this book already!!! Wowza!!! This book is going to be a crazy fun filled sexy ride!!! Full review coming soon!
This book Rock F*ck Club by Michelle Mankin will grab you at the synopsis and take you on a super sexy fun ride! RFC starts with two crazy besties on a trip fuelded by revenge to a journey of self discovery filled with girlpower!
The characters they meet along the way are super cool and sexy and they will steal your heart.
This story is funny and filled with surprises and twists to keep you entertained along the way and it will remind you that not everything is always how it looks. I love a book that makes you think and this book had me thinking that at any age we need to be bold and brave and take chances in life.
Read RFC and join in the fun you will be on a 5 star adventure ride!
The moment I read the blurb for Rock F*ck Club, I immediately added it to my TBR. It gave me thrill to see that the character was going to turn the tables and reclaim her control by doing what men do all the time, without judgement. But nothing could have prepared me for what this story actually delivered. There’s no way I could have predicted the direction this story takes or how it would have left me feeling when I made it to the end.
Michelle Mankin wrote a story that touched on feminism, strength, independence, sexual adventure and self-discovery. Raven Winters’ journey took me on an incredible adventure. What started out as a way to get back at her cheating boyfriend turned into a viral movement that nearly spins out of control yet puts Raven on the path she was meant to take.
Rock F*ck Club was filled with lessons learned, love, passion, friendship, family and growth. I’m still a bit numb from the story…only because I can’t exactly put into words how I feel right now. But it left me with a sense of freedom, elation and peace. Kind of how I’d like to think Raven would feel if she was three dimentional.
I’m not going to go into any detail regarding the road Raven travels, becuase I truly think you should experience it for yourself. But don’t be deterred by the percieved premise of this story. I’m sure, like I did, you’re thinking it might be a raunchy yet fun rockstar romance like others out there but it wasn’t anything like that. YET, there is still plenty of heat and steam to keep your sheets warm and panties damp. I definitely recommend this book!!
