He had it all. He lost it all. And all he wants now is a second chance.RK Saber ran from tragedy five years ago when his car went over the side of a mountain in a prom-night crash. Consumed by guilt, he threw away Juilliard, family, and friends to be front man for the global rock-band sensation, Son of a Jack. Five members. Five best friends. Five rising stars burning so bright, they had to know … burning so bright, they had to know it couldn’t last.
When tragedy strikes again and the band goes from five to two, RK is sentenced to… home. Back to the place where all his nightmares started. Back to the memory of all the things he lost. Back to the reality he refused to face before he left.
The Vetti twins were identical in all ways but two. Melanie was insane and Melissa was not. One twin was killed on prom night five years ago and one twin was not. And now that RK has returned home, the twin left standing has quite a story to tell. Could she really be the girl he thought he’d lost forever? Or is Melanie just up to her same old tricks?
ROCK is a rock-star romantic suspense by the New York Times bestselling master of twist, JA Huss.

A suspenseful, little confusing and intense story. I was enthralled but I did not love this story. There was so much going on and at times it did not make sense. I am a sucker for a suspenseful story, this one lacked something for me. RK was an interesting character, it was all the other people who made this story hard for me. They were so mean, hiding things and making everything so difficult.
Great, surprising steamy romance story! I loved RK. I’m not so sure about everyone else though. Someone with dissociative amnesia can’t exactly help that. And the people in RK’s life ,especially his brother, were completely out of line.
Then to accuse your own brother of killing his girlfriend? WTF.
The characters just didn’t make sense to me. I wouldn’t ever speak to my family again if they treated me that badly.
Still, steamy, romantic, and great plot. Uncertain how realistic some of it was, but entertaining nonetheless.
I need a minute to wrap my head around this amazingness. Holy cow what a book! I love a book that gets my blood pumping and keeps me on the edge. Right off the bat, I loved that it was all in RK’s POV. I’m not a huge fan of first person, but male POV is a huge draw/win for me. I dig getting all up in a man’s head. This poor man’s head went through a lot!
It’s hard to write about the book without giving a whole bunch of the plot away. There’s suspense, hot sex with a rock star, confusion, secrets and love. By the 40% mark, I was totally sucked in and couldn’t wait to find out what the french toast was going on! Boy was the ride worth it! All I can say is, Huss’ writing game is strong with this book. This book is re-read worthy!!
This book was great and keeps you guessing right till the end. It’s a good insight into the way our minds can protect us from trauma. I would have liked a bonus epilogue for further down the line
HOLY MIND BLOWN!!! What a roller coaster ride!! One minute you think you know what’s happening, then… BAM, another twists comes and you’re all like did that seriously just happen?!! I was on the edge of my seat just waiting for the big bang. I don’t know why I waited so long to read Rock. God, I loved him. Poor beautifully broken Rock. The way J.A. Huss’s mind works is just nuts (in a good way). I’ve loved Julie for so long now and had a bit of a hard time keeping up with a few of her series because life happens. After reading two of her books in a week, I am so freakin happy because she is THE BOMB. I just wanna sit and listen to how she just works and comes up with all her ideas.
If you’re looking for something different, fast-paced, action-packed, HOT, and oh idk, AMAZING, grab Rock. Just make sure you don’t have a lot of plans cause you’re not going to want to stop once you start.
