enjoyed
Ace Atkins is great at rendering Parker’s characters! I can’t get enough of him. Read this and you’ll be a happy person.
Ace takins Specer and writing is not the character and style Parker created.
Great Spenser!
AS ALWAYS SPENCER IS GREAT
I gave this book 3 stars because though I enjoyed the story, I do not particularly appreciate the use of all the foul language.
great
Close to Parker style and as entertaining as could be expected. Repetitive in some lines
Wonderland is an excellent Spencer novel
This author did a fantastic job channeling Robert Parker and his characters. Great read!
The new Spenser same as the old. fans of the series won’t be disappointed or surprised. The underlying mystery here is not obvious nor does the author give it away too soon.
Any Spencer book is a good book.
Ace Atkins does a very admirable job of filling in for Robert B. Parker.
Wonderland tries to recreate the banter of the original Spenser novels, but the dialogue is forced. This author works hard to give Spenser the opportunity to say, “There’s that,” but then writes “There is that.” The thrill is gone. The plot, with several twists, is OK.
very good read
Totally loved this. Got me started reading the entire canon. Boy I’m sorry he’s gone.
Very interesting.
like all Robert parkers books, spenser is great.
Hits all the Parker beats, but that’s all; turkey bacon.
Robert Parker’s books are always a dependable read. You know the characters, It’s like spending the evening with a favorite uncle that tells a good story.
