Roadie, Book #2 in the Rock-Hard Beautiful Trilogy
a New Adult Erotic Rocker Romance from International Bestselling Author C.M. Stunich
***ROADIE is a 90,000 word novel about strong emotions, difficult pasts, and vibrant love. It contains bad boy rockers, rock ‘n’ roll concerts, handcuffs, friendship, explicit sex scenes and forgiveness. This is a MMMFMM book with a STRONG focus on the woman (although there is some light M/M in here, too) aka a reverse harem novel (one woman, five guys). It has a happy ending, NO cliff-hanger, and is the second book in a trilogy.

Each day that Lilith spends on tour with ‘Beauty in Lies’ the deeper in love she falls with her beautiful, broken, and tattooed, bad boy rock stars. As their pasts continue to haunt them and they become ever closer the intimacy between them becomes more intense and deeply felt making their unconventional relationship even stronger.
This book had my heart not only racing but also breaking at times. It’s an absolute must read! The narrators are great apart from their English accents which I’m afraid are terrible.
5 ‘s
Lilith is beautifully broken but can still see the beauty and the good in others. She hits the lowest point in her life, goes through some really dark shit, but she keeps going and she finds herself. She’s a badass and I’m loving her and her 5 rockstars! Each man has a story to tell and hurts to heal from and Lilith helps them heal and brings them together the way they do for her.
Reading Roadie is crazy because sooooo much happens in just a few weeks! They grow, learn, and live so much in a short period of time. It shows how much your life can change so quickly.
Things get even more raw and real in Roadie than in Groupie if you can believe it! You get to see the characters for who they truly are and learn some of the dark secrets of their pasts. Roadie is a journey from hurt to healing through love, self acceptance, sexuality, and forgiveness.
This is a book the pushes you to your emotional limit but it’s worth the emotional exhaustion. Lilith, Paxton, Ransom, Derrick, and Copeland are beautiful in their brokenness but they’re gorgeous in their healing! I cannot wait to read Moxie!
I was right . . . I’m hooked!
This book in the trilogy gives us more info on so,e of the boys back stories. It helps you understand them more. We see Lilith become closer with them all to and we see some of her hobbies come out (besides sex). Now that we are going to meet Pax’s family I’m waiting for fireworks!
5 bloody stars!
In my opinion, this one is better than the first, which is very rare for me in a series. This second installment in the series has everything that I could want and need in a book. I love each of the characters individually, in their own ways. The very few (less than 5) proofing errors didn’t even get to me like they did in the first. Can’t wait to read the final installment!
Roadie picks up right where Groupie left off. In this book we get to know everyone a little bit more. We delve in to some of their pasts more. And Lilith says goodbye to her father. So clearly there are a ton of truly emotional moments that occur. Ones that had me wanting to swoop in and save the characters from the hurt that they were reliving. I may have been able to see the hurt coming, see it bubbling up to the surface but I just had to sit back and watch it all. Luckily, this group already works so well together. They are there to pick each other up, to protect when someone needs and to shower love to help heal.
And let’s not forget that the steam factor here is off the charts!
And now to dive into Moxie!
Read this series 3 times and it still pulls on my heart strings ….Amazing !!!!
4.5 Stars
Ok so the author of this series seriously knows how to write sex . This is some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read . The group is continuing on tour and falling deeper for each other . Relationships are tested and more past are reveled . Michael might be changing his feeling toward Lil . I am telling you , that you can not go wrong with this series. I read the whole series in a day . Loved it my only issue was that they still refer to Lil as a groupie and I just don’t like that .
This book is astounding; better than the first one, in my opinion. I can honestly say that it has become one of my favourite books of all time. It’s up there with Wrinkle in Time, Tuesdays with Morrie, and a few others for me. I rarely highlight passages in books, not because I don’t like them, but it’s just not my thing. In this book, I was highlighting passages left, right, and centre. There are so many profound words of wisdom in this book, and I could not put it down. If you had any question of whether you should carry on from Groupie to read this book, seriously, just get it now. You will not regret it. It is incredible.
**Edited to add – I never reread books immediately after I finish them. I like to move on. I couldn’t with this series. I finished Moxie, went back into Groupie to reread a few of my favourite parts, and basically ended up rereading the whole series all over again. It is THAT good. **
