WOW! I loved this book from the very beginning until the very end. I loved the characters, dialogue, and the style it was written. I LOVED that there was a playlist you can ACTUALLY listen to while reading the book. Thats something that I’ve never seen and I think it made the book that much better!
The writing in the book was superb and the witty banter was flawless! Callie and Walker are probably my favorite couple right now. I loved them both from the very beginning. The supporting characters really help pull this story together. They are so colorful and I need more of them!
I cannot wait for book 2. I need more from Nicole Archer and the characters she made me fall in love with!
What an exciting ride! Road-Tripped: A Romantic Comedy (Ad Agency Series) (Volume 1) by Nicole Archer is what my perfect combination of a story.
Callie is not a friendly person. She has a smart mouth and walls built so high you can’t scale them. Her biggest issue though is Walker Rhodes the ad agencies’ resident player. When they are put in charge of an advertising campaign that would lead them on a cross-country road trip that leads to hilarity, sadness, and romance. Walker is not the man that Callie thinks she is, but can he prove that. He is bound and determined to put a smile on her face and a light back into her eye.
I love this book so much. I felt like I was on the same trip as they were. From the Liberty Bell to the Las Vegas strip this book will leave you laughing and then crying in the same breath. The characters were written so well that I felt like I knew them. Even the secondary characters played a part in making this story great.
This story is an emotional roller coaster at its best. From the first page to the last, I hung on to every word and every feeling. I could read this book over and over again. I am eagerly looking forward to the next book in this series.
Road Tripped by Nicole Archer is the first book in her Ad Agency series. It is my first encounter with this writer and I am telling you, I will be heading for the next stories in the series! I know the writer says you could read them all as standalones but still, she recommends reading them in order and I totally will follow it!
Road Tripped is the story of Callie Murphy and Walker Rhodes work at the same place and saying that they mix as well as water and oil is the understatement of the century! Callie cannot stand the man-whore walker as secretly she would love to get her hands on him … Walker is burnt out and on the verge of quitting … so enter the Silver Dildo – dildo shaped camper that the two will take cross country – Walker taking photos and Callie writing stories to accompany the photos. I am sure you can already imagine in your head the dialogue and intrigue and blow ups and whew …at times I wished I could have been the fly on the wall!
I absolutely loved the style of writing, it cracked me up and I found myself cackling away! I loved how real the characters were and how real the issues were they dealt with! Pick up a copy and spend couple of great hours on the Silver Dildo seeing the great United States with Callie and Walker!
Road-Tripped by Nicole Archer had me captivated from the very beginning.I fell in love with the characters and the story development. It was an amazing read and cant wait to read more by this author. I give this book 5 stars.
Road-Tripped was a great 5 star read.
This is Callie and Walker’s story and I loved it.
Callie isn’t happy with her job at the moment. Her friend Skip is her boss and he doesn’t take things seriously. She is also really annoyed with her co-worker Walker, although deep down she may have some feelings for him.
Walker loathes his job but a great opportunity comes up and he is excited to take it. He will be traveling cross country for a couple of months. When his original road trip partner is unable to go, Callie finds herself in the hot seat. Knowing that Callie hates him he isn’t really looking forward to the trip. Will these two make it to the end without killing each other?
How do you get that enormous head of yours through the door? He wiggled his brows. “That’s what she said.”
I had several LOL moments and some emotional ones as well. The secondary characters added a great element to the story. Callie was my favorite of the two, she had no filter when it came to expressing her thoughts. Walker is a charmer that will make your heart flutter. Make sure you have time because once you start you will want to finish in one sitting. This was a great read that I had fun reading. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Hilarious. I laughed so much that my sides hurt. I’d recommend buying some depends prior to beginning your reading. Absolutely funny. Loved it.
Road Tripped by Nicole Archer was a first for me by this author. If you love a good office romance with some funny bantering between the couple then this is the book for you. It took me a couple of chapters to really get into the book, but by the end, I was ready to buy the next book.
Callie really didn’t like any of her co-workers and hated it even more, when she got told that she has to take a road trip across the U.S. with Walker – the office player. Callie and Walker have so many layers to them that it took talking and fighting to get to know one another. But when they started to understand one another better, the sparks were flying and it was steamy.
This was a well written and enjoyable book. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the Ad Agency series. Never had a cross-country road trip but it sounds like fun, I think?!?
Road-Tripped (Ad Agency #1) by Nicole Archer – insert fan girl scream- My, my, my what a fan-freaking-tastic read!
I have no words, none! That is how freaking outstanding this masterpiece is! This is going to be a gush review so hold on tight.
Chemistry, so much chemistry from our two MC’s, I mean you could feel it radiating out of the pages. I think it rose the temperature of my kindle. Everything was done right, the interactions, the witty banter the steamy connection. Everything, I felt like I was reading a real love story. Nothing felt forced or underdeveloped, these two where made for one another, and I loved every minute of it.
Moving away from my new favourite couple of the year.
The actually writing was spot on, smooth, easy to follow and engaging. From the first few words I actually said out loud, “This is going to be good”…. god I love it when I’m right.
The only thing left I have to say is, I highly recommend that you BUT THIS BOOK! READ IT!! It will change the way you read anything going forward.
Happy Reading

Road-Tripped: An Enemies To Lovers Romance by Nicole Archer
Callie works for an ad agency in New York City. Every day is a struggle for her and she is currently living out of a hotel. When one of her co-workers has to back out on the big road trip planned by the agency her boss who is also her best friend picks her to go. He shows some tough love in hopes of getting her out of her rut and says she will lose her job if she doesn’t go. She has nothing if she loses that and is not looking forward to being in an RV the whole time with Walker. Walker is also secretly in a rut and isn’t looking forward being locked up with the ice queen. There is more than meets the eye with him, and Callie and Walker both have their own secrets. As the trip starts, sparks fly, but are the two living in a fairytale or can they handle reality?
This was such an exciting novel. I envied the two main characters as they traveled all over the country. It is something I have always wanted to do. I hated how they limited themselves based off events of their past. I wanted to physically shake them but unfortunately, that couldn’t happen.
I had a hard time putting this book down. Unfortunately, there were a few errors scattered throughout the novel. Although I could easily plug in the missing words, it has me docking the book a star leaving it with a 4-star rating. The characters were developed well and the plot was wonderful. I also enjoyed the imagery. There were a lot of steamy sex scenes though so if that’s not your thing, this book is not for you.
Very easy to read. I got caught up in the story right off the bat. Loved the characters. Would like to interact with these two on their road trip!
Love advertising so this was fun to see inside modern day up and comers promote via social media. Cute kids.
Road Tripped by Nicole Archer a trippy five-star read. This is a stand-alone book that is the first in the Ad agency series, it does contain scenes of a sexual nature and isn’t suitable for anyone under 18 years old. Also, does contain foul language so if you offend easily don’t read the book. I swear like a sailor however and loved the book and even learnt a few new phrases and words. My favourite new word however isn’t curse word its Forelsket, for the translation you need to read the book. My new favourite phrase however is pumped gas at the self-service station, another one you must read the book to find out, but get reading you won’t be disappointed.
This book tells the story of two co-workers at the Shimura Ad Agency, and starts with one writing a list titled – Her list of Murder Methods for merrymaking Coworkers. Her list belonging to Calliope Murphy or Callie as everyone calls her, and she is writing it as everyone is celebrating Walker Rhodes 30th birthday, they both know of each other but don’t know each other, only thinking they do.
Callie is a foul-mouthed pint sized piston; she has a bad attitude and hates just about everyone and some people think she only got the job in the agency as her best friend Skip “Stoner” Shimura owns the agency after her inherited it. Little do they know the reasons behind her having the job and why she is in New York. She has a real hatred for one person Walker Rhodes she has a real love hate relationship with him, in her head. Callie only sees him as the office man whore, and he just sees her as the office ice queen.
They find themselves being forced to live as a pretend couple in a silver camper van documenting their journey and making it believable as if they lose the account they could all lose their jobs. Slowly as the miles increase she begins to thaw and realise that even man whores deserve a chance, if he even is one of those.
There are some very funny goings on along the way, and some real gut churning moments, but they all come together to create a very well written book, that is both funny and poignant, and contains some of the best quotes as chapter headers.
Road-Tripped is the first book in the Ad Agecny Series by Nicole Archer. It is an enemies to lovers, romantic, funny read.
Callie Murphy, works at Shimura Ad Agency for old childhood friend Skip, who helped her out when her life went a little pear shaped by giving her a job at his ad agency. She hates her job and when she is made to go on a road trip with a colleague that she’s can’t stand, she hates it even more.
Walker Rhodes, is known as the ladies man of the ad agency, but he doesn’t want to be. When the opportunity arises to go on a 2 month road trip for work, its his ticket out of the office and away from the women. That is until his partner for the trip drips out and a woman he doesn’t get along with takes her place.
Spending 2 months together is neither ones perfect scenario, but they have to go with it. Will their feelings about each other change with the more time they spend together? Or will they hate each other more when they get back?
Read along with Callie and Walker and get sucked into their road trip. With sarcastic wit and laugh out loud moments, this is the perfect pick me up read.
Road-Tripped is quirky and cute, hillarious with heart. This author writes in a fun, unique, enjoyable way. Callie is Miss Captain Unfun, but she hasn’t always been that way. And first impressions have a way of sticking- she definitely held onto her first idea of Walker for a long time. Not that he did much to correct it.
These two were so entertaining to read about! They had a sense of humor, and a connection, a sense of adventure. And a slowly unravelling ball of feelings. They definitely could work on their communication skills though. I actually read book two in this series first- they could be read as stand alones and are both equally fabulous. I want a friend like Callie. Some of the stuff she says and does just screams that she would be the perfect bff. And Walker’s grandma cracked me right up. I loved this wild ride.
Road-Tripped: An Enemies to Lovers Romance (Ad Agency Series Book 1) by Nicole Archer Is absolutely the best thing I have read in a long long time. It is the sweetest, loving and out there story. There were a few sad moments but this book had me in fits of laughter all the way from the start to the finish. Nicole is a new author for me and is now one of my favourites. I am amped up to read more from her. Her writing and the concept of this story is just superb and you can imagine everything she has written. The story is written in both our main characters POV which I love as it gives a story so much more depth. There was not one part of the story that did not fit or gel. It is a true masterpiece.
It was very interesting in the way opposites came together. Very entertaining
Loved it
I loved this book. I love when there is humor along with romance and sex. Easy to read.
My new favorite book! I laughed out loud throughout this book. Loved it and will definitely read other book by this author.
Couldn’t get past the first couple of pages
