From USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson.I once read that every warrior hoped an honorable death would find him. I always went looking for mine, but not even the Reaper wanted me.I was trained to kill. I was trained to not ask why. To take orders and just march in line. Hooah motherfucker. Life or death.Ride or die.And I’m not only talking about the military. I’m talking about the life that … military. I’m talking about the life that led me on the road to nowhere.
My life.
I fought for my brothers.
I fought for my family.
I fought for my country.
And I fought for her…
Never realizing I might die for them too.

This series is definitely in my top 3 for 2019 (I’m late to the game.) So much angsty, great characters that piss you off and make you want to strangle them, but love the heck out of them.
I recommend you start with the Good Ol’ Boys and follow the reading order as her characters are in multiple books.
M. Robinson didn’t disappoint with this one.
The story of Creed and Mia aka Pippin is one that takes you through a roller coaster of emotions from the start, i would say till the end but their story is one that needed a second book to really be able to give it justice, hence the cliff hanger ending. The love that Creed has for Mia was one that he did not quite understand at first, she basically pushed herself into his life. and then when he wasn’t looking pushed herself into his heart.
Ashes to Ashes
Dust to Dust
And all that Fuckin’ Shit
Creed & Mia …two souls from different worlds. Can they survive the Road to Nowhere? It may begin as innocent friendship but you will be taken on an amazing journey that will show you the unexpected at every turn!
Mia Ryder is the beautiful, sweet, sassy, outspoken daughter of Alex and Lucas from Complicate Me. She has lead a very sheltered life as the result of an overprotective family. The story begins with her at he age of 9 with so much hope for the world in front of her!
Creed is a street smart teenage boy that has grown up in the MC lifestyle. His father is the president of the club and rules with an iron fist. Creed’s world is full of constant turmoil, hurt, death, meaningless sex and heartbreak. He has seen too much at his young age of 18 and it has tainted him in so many ways. He has lost sight of the good in the world but Mia hopes she can help him with it!
Mia and Creed cannot be more different but that does not change that even on their initial meeting you know they will have a unique friendship. Mia sees the good in everyone including Creed even if he cannot see it himself. Creed is enamored by Mia’s love for everything around her. She finds the good and humor in everything. She is blatantly honest ….it is one of her funny and finest qualities !Mia is fascinated by Creed and his lifestyle. She knows that she should stay away but the pull towards him is too strong . She finds the need to constantly dig deeper and reveal new layers of Creed.
You know that these two characters are destined to be soulmates. You will soon realize with each page that they will be taken in two different directions on their roads of self discovery. You hope, cry, yell and pray with each page that they can find their way back to each other. They are each taken down the Road to Nowhere and with each turn they move further apart.
So many stolen moments in this tale of forbidden love. When these two worlds finally collide no one will come out unscathed.
It will be father against daughter…brother against brother.. mother against father….father against son And Family against Family!
This is the Road to Nowhere, it is not easy, it never was meant to be a cookie cutter romance. It will make you feel every range of emotion. It will break you down and leave you raw and emotionally drained but you will absolutely love it!
M. Robinson has once again thought out of the box to bring is the amazing story of Creed and Mia.
I was lucky enough once again to have read this book as a beta reader.
~~Michele McMullen~~
Holy cow ! Monica is the best at what she does . I love her books because they pull you into the story and you don’t want to leave . They are so real ….crazy good…..VIP for LIFE !!!
A little slow at times but great lead in to the next book. Which I am reading now this one is definitely a 5 star rating.
“God didn’t want us and Hell would spit us the fuck out.”
This book was completely engrossing. The hands went around and around the clock, yet I was completely unaware of time as I listened to Creed and Mia’s story. M. Robinson is a new-to-me author and I am impressed. She’s got a new reader in me!
Road to Nowhere spans six or more years from start to end. Although it covers a lot of time, the story is still action-packed. Alternating between Creed and Mia’s points of view, this is their journey.
“I know who you are, Mia Ryder, from the second I saw you. And I’ve loved you every day since for it.”
Creed is 18 when he first lays eyes on a 9 year old spitfire of a girl. For the first time in a long time, little Mia was able to bring out Creed’s smile. His life has been lonely and drowned with guilt and hopelessness. Mia’s life has been very sheltered and loving. As time passes, Creed’s path in life get progressively darker. Forced to witness and carry out unspeakable horrors in his role as Vice President of Devil’s Reject MC, as well as in the military, Creed keeps surviving. As Mia gets older, her crush on Creed grows stronger. When no one in her life will see her as an adult, she tries to take things into her own hands.
Creed and Mia will make choices that many will find irritating. There are things I wish they hadn’t done. Still, I couldn’t help but really feel for both of them. The actual love story is quite a slow burn and the romance in the book is pretty light. Also, both are with other people before they get together themselves. Since this is a duet, I believe this first book is building up to the events to come.
“No more bullshit between us. You want to be kissed, touched, fucked? Then I fuck you. I’m claiming you, Pippin. You’re fuckin’ mine.”
The angst in this book is off the charts! I loved the connection Creed and Mia have always had, even if it wasn’t romantic on Creed’s part (obviously) until she was older. I wish we would have had more Creed and Mia as a couple.
I listened to this book on audio. Both narrators had southern accents which really added to the story. I think both voice actors did a great job playing their parts. As an avid audiobook reader, I have to say this is the first time I’ve experienced this form of switch-off narration. The female narrator would voice every single female part and vice-versa. I was caught off guard at first but I ended up really liking it.
This was my first M Robinson book, and it was a good MC book. It did feel like a really long prologue at the beginning, but then realized she was telling the whole story between Mia and Creed. It started when Mia was 9 & Creed was 18. I loved watching the fascination in young Mia and seeing how the age difference in them played a big part in both their lives and how they each reacted to situations. She was so sheltered and his father was forcing him to be a man at 11. Two different worlds, two completely different people, yet they built a friendship for years. Great character building! I’m on to book 2!
2017 MUST READ!

This is by far my favorite book to date! From beginning to end i was on an emotional roller coaster!I could not put my kindle down! Filled with twists and turns, heart wrenching moments that will turn you into a blubbering mess, jaw dropping moments!
Carnage
If there is one thing you can guarantee with Monica’s books it’s that there will be a lot of angst and a lot of drama and a whole lot of messed up situations . And this one is just as good !!!
This book is the first of a duet , we get a lot of background on both characters , Mia and her sheltered upbringing and creed and his very messed up life In the MC club and then the army .
Mia and creed first meet when Mia is 9 and creed is 18, so there’s a decent age gap . For a long time
Mia is the innocent sweet child that brings a smile to creeds life and it’s not a romantic interest but there is a definite connection. There’s a whole heaps of messed up situations that happen particularly to creed . Heart breaking and soul crushing .
And it takes until Mia is 16 and a very significant incident to wake creed up to see that he wants to claim Mia.
This book ends on a cliffy. So be warned . But the conclusion is available so you can just move right on to finish their story .
This book broke me apart so many times, I didnt think I could continue reading. This book and its conclusion were so amazing and I am so thankful i did continue. This was worth all the tears and breaks.
M. Robinson is a new author for me. I stumbled upon this book and Boy, oh boy, was this a book. I’m still trying to process what I read. There was so much going on. This book definitely kept me on my the edge of my seat. It was dark, gritty, and emotional. Loved Creed and Mia, two people who have no business what so ever being together but finding a friendship in the most unlikely way. I feel emotionally drained, cant wait to read the next book.
Great story well written love the good ol boys series and this book follows on loved it x
I am so glad i have finally got to to this books, I’m slowly trying to get up to date with M Robinson as i had read The Choosing Me duet a while ago and as all her characters intertwine I’m excited.
This book in a way wasn’t what i was expecting, i knew Creed was part of the MC but i was expecting the army and for Mia and Creed to have a friendship when Mia was quite young. I really love the way M Robinson writes she really digs into a character and we find out what they are like as well as telling us a really good story.
Creed is your typical MC guy but there was so much under all his layers and i really loved that, i really like Mia from the start you could tell she was feisty and taking no crap.
There is so much to the story and the best thing i did was sort of go in blind, we had subjects such as the Army and 9:11 which M Robinson was very sensitive about but i just loved how this story came together.
This one does end in a cliffhanger and I’m not the sort of person to go straight into the book but i can tell it will take me a lot less time to pick up the next book then usual.
Loved loved this book it was hot, full of action and never wanting to put it down if your a fan of M Robinson and have read this yet do it and if you haven’t read her before her reading now you won’t be disappointed
What did I just read?
M Robinson has drawn out so many emotions from me with this book I’m left gobsmacked!
So much more than an MC read the plot is like a gradual build-up to a bomb explosion and from the beginning it’s ticking away in the background until the final page.
The Good o’l boys and El diablo is interconnected and although I haven’t read all those books and know all the characters I feel I would of been more in the loop with some things that happened if I had.
From a young age Mia had a fascination with Creed and a bond was formed even as a little girl.
The plot takes you through Mia’s childhood years and Creeds teens and early twenties.
There’s heartache, sadness, shocking scenes all combined with a gripping plot.
I instantly fell in love with this dirty-mouthed biker and Mia with her sassy ways and was instantly pulled into the story wondering where this odd relationship of a young girl and teenage biker boy would go.
So much happens in Road to know where, I couldn’t begin to sum it up with the content but I would definitely recommend this quality, gritty and gripping read.
Looking forward to more from M Robinson, Brilliant. Fingers crossed I don’t have to wait long.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
Creed has always been one to look for death. not wait for it to come find him. Not even the Reaper wanted him. He’s been trained to kill, not ask why, to take orders and just march in line. His life is ride or die. Life or death. It’s a life that has lead him on the road to nowhere. He has fought for his brothers. His family. His country. And he’s fought for her…Never realizing he might die for them too.
Buckle up and hold on. Creed is nonstop story from the second you pick it up until put it down.Creed is one of those characters you just want to wrap your arms around and protect. He’s been groomed to be in a MC his whole entire life. His father is the MC President. He’s a cruel man so Creed’s not had the best example in life. However family and his brothers are everything to him. After a tragic event Creed’s life changes drastically. I loved Creed though. He grabbed my heart and kept it the entire time I was reading. The two main female characters were great and I really liked watching Mia grow up. I loved her childhood crush on Creed. I’d forgotten what that was like.
Road to Nowhere will have you on the edge of your seat holding your breath. My heart broke several times and I laughed some. It’s an awesome read filled with all the things a good book should have. What surprised me was it was so much more than any other MC book I’ve ever read and it blew me away. Road to Nowhere is a must read. Now I just need that next book in my hands like yesterday.
This is the first book that I have read by this author (ducks head whilst people throw things at me in shock!). I know, I know! I am sorry, but wow what a book to start on!!
This book is full on from the get-go, every page had my heart pumping, the twists and turns had my head spinning!!
Creed and Mia form an unlikely friendship when they meet at the beach. Mia is Mason’s little sister. Mason is Creed’s best friend! But Creed has a lot going on, sh*t is going down at his Father’s MC. Over the years their friendship evolves into more……and that blew me away!! That cliffhanger?!!!
Holy Sh….. what a ride! Another 5 star angsty and filled with action read. This story will crush your heart, fill it back up, make you squirm a little, cry a bit, and make your jaw drop. You’ll be hooked from the start. It is so worth the read. Highly recommend this! M. Robinson doesn’t disappoint! One click! Each book is better than the last! I can’t wait for her next one!!
I don’t even know where to begin. I’m spent. This book completely ruined me and has left me in a massive funk! This is so much more than a 5 star read! I don’t know how to even review this book except to say to NEED to read it NOW!
OMG!! The ending… She can’t leave it there, leave me hanging for the next few months!
As with all M. Robinson books, they draw you in, completely immerging you into the story. You are completely invested in the characters lives. The story just flows, effortlessly. There are quite a few twists, turns and shocks a plenty, things you just don’t see coming. This book pulled several emotions out of me. I was close to tears on a couple of occasions and my heart just broke for Creed a few times. God I love the man Creed has become, strong, powerful with a good heart despite his life as an MC. M. Robinson has created another character to fall head over heels over.
The follow up is going to be epic. You can see there is a massive plot development heading our way. I just can’t wait, I need the next book now. It’s great how past characters make an appearance, just to remind you how good her books actually are.
5 solid amazing stars!! Get ready to let Creed into your heart, mind and soul but mostly be ready to want to throw your kindle to the wall with this story. And that ending? I wanted to curse the author for doing that to me! I cannot wait to read what’s coming next!
The story was gripping and rough to read at times. Some scenes were very hard to read and had me in tears. It isn’t for the lighthearted people that’s for sure but oh so worth it in the end…
Creed was always meant to follow into his fathers footsteps when it comes to be a part of his MC crew. One event changes it all and no matter how broken he is, he will need to step up to be at his father’s side. Just taking it one step at a time. Mia is a young girl when she first meets Creed and there’s an instant connection between them. She has a sassy mouth and says it like it is. Although there’s a huge age difference, Creed knows there’s something special about her. And when the time comes, he’ll only realise what’s more important in his life…
Road To Nowhere is a five+++star read. I am so in love with Creed. I always love MC books. I Love the Motorcycles, tattoos and bada*s guys and their attitudes and the way they will do anything for “what’s theirs” (girlfriends or wives). This is my fourth read by M. Robinson and she blows me away with each book. She never disappoints me. Once I started reading Road To Nowhere I could not put it down.
Creed does nothing but try to fight to protect his family, but with a tragic accident he has a hard time moving on. Anything and everything always goes wrong in Creed’s life. So he goes into the Military to fight not only for his biker brothers, family and country including “Little Mia” whom has been in love with him since a little girl. Mia is the daughter of Alex and Lucas of The Good Ol Boys, and daddy does not allow her to do anything. Creed and Mia have this really unique relationship despite the age difference. This book has an ending that I did not expect and I cannot wait to get my hands on the next one to see what M. Robinson has in store for Creed and Mia….
Will Creed and Mia be able to overcome all of these obstacles?
