We met Grace in Hatch and Maisie’s story, Road to Peace. Grace is best friends with Maisie’s daughter Poppy. Following a pretty traumatic event in her early teens, she went off to college with Poppy. Coming back home, she isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life, except dancing has to be part of it. When someone from her past comes back around, she isn’t sure what to do with the feelings he brings out in her, because she isn’t sure what to do about them.
Flea is a biker, one who remembers Grace and the events of her trauma, but she’s been away at school for a long time. When he sees her again, she knocks him off his feet! He isn’t sure what to do about it at first, but it doesn’t take him long to sort out how he’s feeling and what he wants!
I love how amazing Flea is with Grace. Their relationship is just absolutely perfect, and he is so understanding of her issues. He takes them, and knocks them down, one by one. Totally swoon-worthy!
This book, like all of the Dogs of Fire books, is packed full of all of the good stuff! Lots of action, excitement, romance, and hot bikers, combine with a strong sense of loyalty and family to make a book that I read in one sitting! After beginning, I just couldn’t put it down, and before I knew it, I was at the end, with a big smile on my face! This MC series is not only on my one-click list, but also my re-read list. Definitely one of my go-to series when I start recommending MC series to friends!
Another great read by Piper Davenport. I really loved Flea and Grace. Flea was so good with recognizing and giving Grace what she needed, even before they were together. Grace had to deal with a lot in her life and Flea was very aware of the issues. Once they saw each other again, after her four years at college, they started hanging out pretty quickly. There was a 10 year age difference and she wasn’t even on his radar before because she was underage. I love checking in with all of the Dogs and this one is no exception. I would recommend it and the whole series.
This is the second book I’ve read in this series and I love it even more. I’m definitely going to have to go back to book one and start from the beginning. I loved everything about this book. Grace and Flea were so sweet together. I loved her innocence against his alpha tendencies.
Grace and Flea have always had a special bond and now they are adding a few other monikers to their relationship. Grace witnessed a scene that no one should have lodged in their brain. It profoundly changed her life and if not for Maisie, Poppy, and the Dogs she might not have ever found any peace. Flea from the every first has always been a safe harbor in the storm. She knows he doesn’t see her as anything more than the kid that he protected but that in no way encapsulates the depths of her feelings for him. Flea knows he should leave it be and forget his need for Grace. With everything she has survived he should just be a shoulder to lean on for her, but he cannot ignore the insane pull she has over him. Finding grace in her arms would be everything he always wanted but never knew he was looking for.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
This book! I was so excited to see that Grace was getting her own book and could not wait to read it. Grace is all grown up has come home from college and is searching for her next move. She has had to overcome some major struggles in her life and is not sure what is next. Flea is a member of the Dogs of Fire and enjoys his life just the way it is! His world is rocked when he sees that Grace is all gown up. This book has heart and soul written into the story. Grace and Flea have amazing chemistry and are hilarious together! Grace and Flea become stronger together and their love story is so much fun to read. This book has humor, action, alpha males, sassy heroines, steamy with a capital S love scenes and will keep you turning the page. My only complaint is that is had to end! I think that you can read this without reading the rest of the series but why not read the other books… they are just as awesome!
I am in love with the Dogs! These guys are protective of the ladies they love and sweet as sin. Road to Geace is book 8 in this series… which takes us back to Road to Peace, my favorite in the series til now. I can honestly say Road to Grace is my favorite book now by Piper Davenport. Gracie is no stranger to tragedy and Flea comes back into her life when she needs a safe haven more than ever. Your going to love this book as much as I did…its a wonderful addition to this series! Happy reading!
Grace was faced with something ten years ago that no one should have face, let alone a young girl. Now ten years later she is back home and ready to start her life after college. Her goal is to become a principal dancer in the Portland Ballet Company. Billy “Flea” Jameson was there ten years ago when all the stuff went down with Grace and he was there to hold her and thought of her as a little girl but ten years later she has grown into a woman. He can’t seem to take his eyes off her and he knows what he wants and he will have Grace. I have to say this was my first read by this author and I loved this book. The relationship between Grace and Flea was the perfect yin and yang. They balance each other out so well. No where did this story slow down to where I wanted to pause. It was excellently told and burned my kindle up with the heat from this couple. This book made me want to read more of this series. I highly recommend this book, great story, amazing characters and the reason I read MC Romance.
