#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts presents a seductively suspenseful tale of one woman’s shattered innocence, the terrifying search for truth and a heart’s journey toward healing… Sheltered from the truth, an older Olivia only dimly recalls her night of terror—but her recurring nightmares make her realize she must piece together the real story. Now, assisted by Noah Brady, the son of the police detective who found her cowering in her closet so many years before, she may have her chance. Noah wants to reconstruct the night that has become an infamous part of Hollywood history. He also wants to help Olivia and heal the longing in her lonely heart. But once the door to her past is opened, there’s no telling what’s waiting on the other side. For somewhere, not too far away, the monster walks again…

Nora Roberts had me on page 1! An easy to read mystery/thriller with a little romance mixed in.
Always great Nora Roberts.
Great read
I liked it
I love Nora Roberts. This book was no disappointment – it was a mystery that was very well written. The author really does her research, and fleshes out each character. The suspense builds as the story goes on. Great read!
Just beautiful. It’s a great story but the best part was the impeccable description of the nature in Washington.
Oh my gosh Nora Roberts this is definitely the most awesome book I have read in a very long time and only wish it could have gone on, and on, and on.
Not up to NR standards- very little personal interactions between the hero/heroine, surprise ending out of left field, verging on boring.
I live reading Nora Roberts but this one got pretty annoying at times. Get to the point and please stop dragging the story line out.
Always love this author
Great story.
Always enjoyed Nora Robert books. This is one I missed and was happy to see it.
Great book! As always Nora Roberts delivers
I LOVE Nora Roberts works! This one is very different from most. Kind of like a 50/50 Mix of Nora & J.D. Robb! Heart warming characters in a chilling situation.
Not her best but worth reDing.
Nora always a good read!
will buy anything from Nora Roberts J.D. Robb
Always look forward to grabbing her books and curling up in my comfy chair for an enjoyable time
Good basic story, with well developed characters. Too much detailed description of the forests where part of the book takes place.
I love me some Nora Roberts!
