Who doesn’t love Naked Men? In Christi Barth’s irresistible series, a group of close-knit friends talk out their problems with naked honesty on a popular blog. Bonded by a high-school tragedy, they’re moving on from the past—and fighting for the future with strong and sassy women. Griffin Montgomery helps people. As a teenager, he kept his best friends alive after their soccer team’s bus … soccer team’s bus crashed in the Alps. Now, as a Coast Guard search and rescue pilot, he saves lives with reckless abandon—until he goes too far and earns a lengthy suspension. Working on the Naked Men projects keeps his mind busy, but Griff’s itching to get back in the action. That’s when he finds his latest rescue mission: a pretty wallflower who’s stuck in her comfort zone.
Chloe Widmore doesn’t take risks. As a professional letter writer, she gets enough excitement out of expressing other people’s emotions. So when the hottest man she’s ever seen invades her coffee shop, Chloe surprises herself with how much she wants to be with him. Routines make her feel safe. Griff makes her deliciously unsafe, in so many ways. But falling for him is one risk she might just have to take . . . whether she’s ready or not.

Risking It All by Christi Barth a five-star read that will bring honesty to your life. This is the first novel in the Naked Men series and bring on the rest, I will be honest and I wasn’t sure about Griffin at first, and I was nearly wondering if he would survive and he nearly soured me to the Naked men, even though their story as a whole sounded immense it was just him, but he won me round and surprised me. I dint have the same qualms about Chloe, I felt her warmth immediately, there is so much I could go on about with this story and I’m not going to, as this authors words stand up for themselves, pick this up and enjoy it as you won’t be disappointed, who knows you may even learn something, I know I did.
Chloe Widmore is one of those people who doesn’t color outside of the lines, she prefers routines and regularity, and keeping things in her life as normal as possible. She doesn’t do risky or walking on the wild side and while that might make her seem boring, she doesn’t care because that’s what makes her feel safe. The last time she dabbled in adventure it ended badly and left her emotionally scarred, and afraid to take risks of any kind, including risks in her love life. But after a chance meeting with a handsome stranger at her favorite coffee shop she begins to feel her plan for a neat an orderly life start to falter, and finds a new life of adventure within her grasp, all she has to do is let go and take the risk…
Early on in life Griffin Montgomery earned the title of hero, and while he doesn’t quite see it that way, he did learn that he was gifted with the innate ability to save people. Which makes his career choice as a Coast Guard search and rescue pilot seem quite fitting, not only does he get to help people but also has the opportunity to feed his need for adventure. His dedication to his job is admirable, but when he goes a little overboard to save the day, he winds up finding himself on suspension. Without his job to keep his rescue addiction fed, he is going crazy and in need of an adventure, and that drive to find adventure takes him to the table of a beautiful woman who looks like she is great need of saving. Griffin has a plan to bring Chloe out of her careful world, and help her embrace a life of adventure…now he just has to figure out how to convince her he’s worth the risk!
