My mate lies in a rotting cage at the bottom of the sea, and I’ll do anything to get him back. Maybe he’s the devil himself, but he made the ultimate sacrifice for me.When my plan backfires, I’m left with a lethal hex surging in my veins. Now, I only have a few days to live. And Salem? He’s wrestling with a dark curse of his own, one that he says makes him burn..He keeps saying this ends with one … this ends with one of us dead, that our story is a tragedy. But I’m determined to rewrite the tale fate has penned for us. If I can’t, he warns I could die at his hands.
This is the final book in a trilogy.

6 stars people !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Picking up straight after then of Fallen King the action continues and just when you think things are going to be fine the storey takes some dark twists and you feel that no happy ever after will be possible. Laughter, tears, heartbreak and relief this book has it all.
This is probably one of the best books that they have ever written and was an amazing climax to this brilliant storey – Really i cant praise it enough.
Once again C.N. gifted us with this mesmerizing story. There lays a wonderful journey to the mystery that covers Salem’s destiny and Aenor’s as well. An original story that brings gods, myths, Witcher, some fun mixed with drama, craziness, friendship, and love. All of them majestically painted, each brush giving the right shade of color. This serie is unforgettable.
This series took my breath away. You’re drawn in like a moth to flame. The world the characters the emotions. Even now just seeing the cover. What i wouldn’t give to read it again for the first tine
Perfect finale!!!
OMG I just loved this book so much, it’s an intense rollercoaster of emotions, I actually cryied!!!
It’s the perfect finale for a love story so perfectly imperfect, Aenor and Salem… Sigh… What they had to go through in this book, oh my… I was stressed all the time, not dearing to stop reading, fearing something awful will happen to any of them… And it did, but they conquered all the obstacles and trials… Until Salem had to leave… And Aenor and my heart broke…
What now????… Soulmates are supposed to be together, aren’t they????
Just go get your copy and find out… this series is a MUST read, recommended!!!
An excellent ending to the trilogy! Full of the same adventure, magic, humor, friendship, heat & drama as the two previous books. This book takes the stakes to another level & not just the stakes of life & death. Happiness & Love are at stake too. There are many twists & turns that weave your path to the final conclusion. How will it end? I suggest you read & find out, you won’t be disappointed. C.N. Crawford
What a fantabulous series and this third book is just incredible! Full of twists and turns and emotions it’s exciting and addictive and once started you just cannot put it down. A fantabulous intense storyline with some amazing characters, questions are answered and I have to say this trilogy is one of the best I’ve ever read!
We are at the concluding book in the series, and what a book it is! Aenor and Salem have grown so much in the series that they almost seem like different people. I also really liked Aenor’s friend Gina so much I’d almost like to see her get her own series, even Ossian should get his own series. Heck, I liked all the side characters, even the bad ones. And speaking of the bad ones, what a surprise the end was; I did NOT see that coming! This author’s books are getting better and better, and they aren’t shabby to begin with. If you love paranormal romance, you really need to give this series and book a try. Recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
This is the thrilling climax to Court of the Sea Fae. Aenor will do whatever she has to save Salem, even at a great personal cost to herself. Aenor and Salem will try everything to save her. They are mates that are fighting it. Salem and Aenor grow closer with every obstacle that is in there way. Will being mates be enough to save Aenor or even Salem’s life before it is to late.
There are so many things going on in this book, I am not going to say to much. I don’t want to give anything away. There are so many great twists and turns in this book, the end of the book will really get you. I highly recommend you read this book. If you haven’t read this series yet, highly recommend you do so. I am sad to see the end of this series and characters.
I received an ARC copy of this book, this is my honest review
This incredible third installment has all the fantastic emotion, steamy dialogue and fascinating character dynamics. I also found that the emotionally damaged bad-boy Salem has so many more layers then I anticipated. I loved learning more about his fall and his complicated denials of personal feelings. Truly epic love between Salem and Aenor reading this complicated dark tale was fascinating and gripping. As you may know from past reviews this is one of my favorite authors and this series is one of C.N. Crawford’s best efforts.
The depth of emotion and complexity within the storyline was so intense I couldn’t stop reading it. I laughed, I cried… I maybe considered throwing my Kindle it was sooo good.
This book answered so many questions about multiple characters most especially Salem and Aenor’s. It was a whirlwind of action and twisting anxiety as the characters learned to find trusting each other was the only way and how haunting a fated love can be. I felt joy and heartbreak as I read each chapter so engrossed I stayed up all night and well looked like it at work. But people it was worth every lost moment of sleep. THIS IS A MUST READ BOOK!!!
This seriesis a trilogy but I would definitely read more! I can’t recommend it enough. I recieved this book as an ARC for an honest review. Bit I have also purchased it and I am anxiously waiting for the audible version.
I received this as an arc for an honest review and let me tell you this was the perfect end to this series! It was full of excitement, twists, and steamy times. I am full satisfied by the way everything wrapped up. Absolutely loved this book and this whole series!
This is A gut-wrenching finale to the Court of the Sea Fae series!
Thank you to C. N. Crawford for providing me with an arc for an honest review.
This book continues straight after the events of Fallen King and although the opening chapters do provide a little comic relief (bull sack tea anyone?), this book is much darker, grittier and steamier.
It’s overflowing with anticipation and heartache, with just the right amount of sexual tension. Each time I turned a page I didn’t know what I would be faced with. And If there’s anything that I love most in a book lately – it’s a romance against all odds. Aenor and Salem are certainly up against it in this book.
As their story develops, each time you feel a slight sense of relief, the rug is pulled from under your feet and it’s an emotional ride right up until the last page.
The duel POV helps give us an insight to both Aenor’s and Salem’s inner turmoil. The angst is not unlike characters by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare and everyone knows how much I love those authors. I make that comparison out of appreciation for C. N. Crawford’s ability to make me want to throw my kindle across the room – especially when I’m screaming ‘just shut up and kiss!’
Reading from Salem’s POV was so much fun. He is such a (dark) grey character, and other than his feelings for Aenor and his sister, he doesn’t really have any redeeming qualities. I said in my last review that Aenor was becoming one of my fave heroines – but Salem is definitely my fave anti-hero. We find out more about his past and none of it good. But – am I still trash for the Fallen King? Yes, yes, I am. Looks like Aenor is too!
I have yet to come across a book by C. N Crawford that I haven’t attempted to read in one sitting. Their writing style is so fast paced it’s hard not to get lost in the pages.
This is by far my favourite book of theirs that I’ve read to date. This finale wrapped the series up very well, but – I’m sad to say goodbye to Aenor, Salem and Ossian. I really hope we see more of them in the future.
Wish list:
I would have loved for Ossian to have had a more substantial role in this installment. He is so funny and has his own demons that I would have like to have seen explored more. He felt a little cast to the side.
With most of the other series’ there has always been a slight cross over with characters from the other books. I was hoping as this was the finale, that we may have had an appearance from a familiar face or two.
Favourite Quotes
“But Aenor. Why am I in Leather Trousers? These aren’t mine. I don’t want to be an alarmist, but I find that concerning.”
“Let me introduce you to Lyr, the half-divine, Morose sea-fuck.”
“Our bond was like a glass palace: beautiful but fragile.”
“Panic and I had been strangers for centuries, but now we were growing quite acquainted.”
“Our union is a brief, blinding explosion of light in the darkness.”
“Light without shadows is tedious.”
And more but they are slight spoilers.
Would I recommend?
Yes – if like me, you love fast paced romance, not afraid to feel your heart breaking as you read, feel a little guilty about loving the bad guy and enjoy myth and legend woven into the story. I recommend that you read the first two installments first though.
No other series/author has had me knee deep on Wikipedia looking up Cornish myths and legends like this series has. As a Cornish ‘maid’, whenever I read a book that mentions Cornwall it just adds to the experience for me.
An Exciting Emotional Rollercoaster
This was the perfect end to this series! It was full of excitement, twists, and steamy times. Several times as I was reading, I thought “okay, this is it, the story must be concluding soon”, only to look at my percentage and realize that there was still plenty of story left to throw a few surprises at Aenor, Salem, and the others. I am full satisfied by the way everything wrapped up in this story, but at the same time I am holding out hope for spin-offs at least. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these awesome characters! Absolutely loved this book and this whole series
