Another great set. Couldn’t put it down until I finished all of them.
Love the series… I started with these 4 books and ended up buying the next 3. Can’t wait for Dane’s story
I love this entire series!
I had to get the rest of the steries. Had to know what happened to everyone.
Fantastic! I love this series. A little different from other shifter books I’ve read.
The print was tiny I couldn’t read these books. Big disappointment.
Fun read
I’m normally into historical romance but this writer and this series of books has grasped my attention from the first page to the last. The writing is well done and transports the reader to another place. This author is my new favorite.
Enjoyable
I read the first ones and could not stop reading the series
I have read them all and can’t wait for the next one!
**********Contains Spoilers**********
I thoroughly enjoyed this collection. Each book in this collection is reviewed separately.
Talon – I thought this was a great start to a new series. I liked the connection between Talon and Liberty, and I especially love that Liberty pushes back when she doesn’t agree with something, and doesn’t take sh*t from anyone. She’s definitely alpha in her own right. This book was filled with so many details as it has to explain everything to do with shifters, the Pride and the concept of mates. I found the concept interesting of how male panthers know that they’ve found their mate because when they touch them, instead of the usual way of scenting their mates like in other paranormal books. Man, the males of the shifter species in all other paranormal books that I’ve read are usually very protective of their mates but the panthers in this series definitely take it to the extreme. I loved meeting some of the Pride members and man Liberty was completely bada*se putting herself in danger to protect Talon’s Pride since he’s alpha and she didn’t want Talon to get hurt by exchanging himself for Evie, like the wolves requested. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens next with the Pride and their pursuit in catching the wolves who were behind Evie’s abd*ction.
Winter – This was a good book to read but I didn’t enjoy it as the first book. I enjoyed the connection between Winter and Nova. Winter felt that Nova was his mate for ages but he refused to touch her to find out after everything he’d been through when he was changed he wouldn’t want to put anyone through that pain so thought it would be best not to touch her and bring her into his world. Winter ends up touching her after she’s been attacked by the guy she was seeing Perry but since he was turned into a panther after he was dying from an infection he knows how excruciating the transformation is and would never want to put her through that so he refuses to change her. Since he was only changed into a panther a few years ago he wanted to fall in love with someone before touching them as he doesn’t want his animal to rule his decision since he lived most of his life as a human who got to choose who they love and not be decided by fate. Man, it would be hard for a female human mate to get used to no other male being able to touch her after becoming a shifters’ mate since it hurts her especially when you’ve never had to think about someone hugging you or holding your hand etc. Nova isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and doesn’t take any sh*t either just like her sister Liberty. I’m looking forward to reading what happens next in this series.
Savage – I really enjoyed this book. I loved the connection between Savage and Mary Grace and how loving and protective Savage is with Mary Grace, Mary Grace struggles with very low self esteem with the way she looks, her dou*hebag of an ex Frank obviously didn’t help matters. She thinks that Savage is completely out of her league but little does she know that Savage is her mate, and would do absolutely everything for her and he completely worships the ground she walks on. Mary Grace’s ex Frank tried to sell her and ended up by accident nearly k*lling her as he slipped while holding the kn*fe he was using to make her cooperate. When she was late for work and didn’t answer her phone, Savage went to check on her and while he was looking her over, he touched her and found out they’re actually mates but since she was dy*ng, he had to change her in order to save her life. Since Mary Grace woke up and found out that she’s no longer human so she struggles a bit with coming to terms with being changed without her agreement because she was dy*ng. It was awesome to see that she finally accepts herself and all her worth after being loved on by Savage. Wow, Savage is completely different with Mary Grace, he’s way softer and caring which is to be expected since she’s his mate. Man, the scientists from Rycon Industries are complete tw*twaffles but due to the panthers being exposed to the world, I kind of expected something like that to happen as there are always people trying to understand what they don’t know, but k*dnapping shifters and experimenting on them is absolutely horrible. Sh*t everything that Kraven was put through while being experimented on by Rycon was completely heartbreaking and you could totally feel his pain, guilt and shame. I really can’t wait to find out what’s up with the Sheriff, as he’s human but he seems very protective of Liberty, and therefore the Pride and is all up in their business. Maybe he’s not even actually human, only time will tell. I’m looking forward to see what’s next for the Pride and the birth of their alphas Talon and Liberty’s heir.
The Birth of an Alpha – I really enjoyed this book. I liked that Talon accepted the decision that his mate defended, when Kye found out that Ranger had been training Evie to fight so she can protect herself and get her power back after everything she’d been put through when she was k*dnapped the wolves. Liberty thinks that the women of the Pride deserve to be able to protect themselves if they decide to learn, just as Liberty and Nova’s dad taught them both. Talon agreed that this should be the case even if it’s against the rules of the Pride but their females are completely different than they were 100’s of years ago. I’m looking forward to reading more as the Pride grows and defends themselves against the Community.
I’d definitely recommend this collection, each book in the series and author to everyone.
