Rise of the Alphas by Lola Gabriel is an amazing box set that I have had the privilege to read. I love this amazing box set so much that I went and bought it and can not get enough of the stories. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about shifters, alphas, contemporary and paranormal romances.

Brilliant box set with 11 shifter stories in it. I can’t pick a favorite as I loved them all. They each have a great plot and characters and are written very well.

A series of easy quick reads with some drama, twists, turns and romance. Ideal for my afternoon read while at the hairdresser.

The Prince’s Mate

I like this story so much because it has a strong female role. Piper may be a bear, but she mainly moves in the world of people and shows herself from an intilligent side, not a weak female who is led by others

Alpha’s Territory
Brady and Clay are not nice men who do not make it easy for Lila if she continues to reject them. They even go so far as to fight for her and the winner tries to overwhelm her against her will. Fortunately there is Jasper. Lila falls for him not knowing that he is one of them ….. a bear shifter. Jasper is the alpha of the bears and banishes Brady after his attack on Lila. Now he only has to convince Lila that bears are peaceful and Lila is his mate

The Hunted
Brooke sees her parents being killed. The parents are protectors or dragons, but the queen of the dragons is the murderer. It leaves a deep-rooted hatred at Brooke. When she is mature and trained by the uncle, she goes hunting for the dragon queen. Before she reaches the queen she crosses the path with Adonis, the son of Alexandria. Then she finds out that he is the true mate.
A short but sweet story in which true love wins from everything that is bad in the world

I will still read the remaining stories, but the first few stories give it all well. Delicious easy-to-read novels with a lot of heat

Rise of the Alpha’s Collection is a collection of individual books written by Lola Gabriel and Alexis Davie. Each one of these eleven books features a story that focuses on an Alpha shifter who finds his forever mate. Some of the stories in this collection are about wolf shifters while others are about dragon shifters. One thing that all these books have in common is that the character couples featured in each book are unique individuals who come together under unusual circumstances. Each story was an entertaining read that made me fall in love with the character’s in it. In my opinion, the best part of this collection is that each of the books is a stand alone story that is full of sexy shifters and sensual love scenes. I loved reading each and every one of these eleven entertaining paranormal romances together in one unforgettable collection. Rise of the Alpha’s Collection is a set of eleven amazing paranormal shifter romances.

This was a wonderful book. It didn’t seem rushed. This was sweet and steamy, full of romance and passion with great characters that were interesting enough to draw you in.

The Prince’s Mate
Nix Meets Eve in a bar and connect with her instantly. They end up back at her place after talking for a bit. However he disappears the next morning and when she messages him on messenger after he looks at it he blocks her. She doesn’t know that he is trying to protect her because he is a dragon and is in a war with another dragon. None of that matters when he finds out that Eve is pregnant with his child. What will this mean for them? Will she give him a second chance?

Alpha’s Claim
Piper is a defense lawyer whose client is innocent of the crime they’re accused of doing. But the evidence against them is piling up and it looks really bad. Piper does everything in her power to help her client but in the end he is convicted. However ten years later its proven that he was framed and he is released. He tells the press that his lawyer from his trial always believed in his innocence. This made Piper famous over night which was bad considering she was a bear shifter. Her pack made her leave and they also left her behind. She relocated to a small town thinking she would have a better life but it seems trouble just finds her wherever she goes. This time in the form of a hunter. Pack alpha and town Sheriff Levi wants to protect Piper even though some of his pack wants to throw her under the bus with the hunter. But something about Piper draws Levi to her. Can Levi protect her from the hunter? Will Piper stay in town after learning that Levi was keeping things from her?

The Alpha’s Territory
Lila owns and works a bar. She is very strong willed and won’t take anyone’s crap. So when two men keep hitting on her she let’s them know she’s not interested. However one night when she is leaving the local gym they take it into their own hands to make her their one way or another. They shift into their bar forms to fight for her and the winner gets her. Jasper the Alpha happens to come upon them and stops them just as they would have hurt Lila. Jasper and Lila go for coffee and talk and end up spending the night together. Jasper knows that she is his and he’ll make and example of those that tried to hurt her. Will he be able to protect her? What will she do when she learns what he is?

Returning to the Dragon
Lacey returns home after being away for school and working in the city. She waits for her brother when a stranger starts coming on to her. Before she can say anything someone else tells him to remove his hand and Lacey is stunned to recognizes Koy her brother’s best friend. The man Koy is warning off is a member of his pack and he knows trouble is brewing. Lacey has always wanted Koy but never thought he would see her as anything but his friend’s sister. However now looking into his eyes she can see that has changed now. Will Koy challenge anyone for Lacey’s heart?

Lost Land
Ellie is a witch that is interested in anything historic. However she didn’t expect to be kidnapped and taken to the dragon king and blackmailed into working for him. Sebastian wants to explore this land that he found a portal to and he needs Ellie to do so. When she doesn’t agree he blackmails her because of something she has stolen from his people. They go into the portal and its a land no one expected to see and creatures they could foretell living there. As they first explore it doesn’t look dangerous but once they enter a cave things change drastically. Will they survive and make it back home safely? Can Ellie go back to a life without Sebastian in it?

Alpha’s Hostage
Farrah is a bartender and after a shift one night she witnesses something she shouldn’t have which has her kidnapped by two wolves. They take her back to their Alpha for him to decide what to do with her. However once Pike sees her its like a strange feeling comes over him and he knows he can’t hurt her. Sparks fly between them and Farrah doesn’t know what it is about Pike but she wants to be with him. They have one night together before he lets her go after exposing some of her family secrets to her. Farrah never knew what business her father and brother were into until she read her father’s journal. She isn’t like them and just wants peace from all the darkness. But when her brother shows up and tells her his plan for the local Alpha she knows that she’ll do whatever she can to protect Pike and keep her brother from doing something wrong. Will she be able to stop her brother? What does it mean for her and Pike?

First Shift
Cleo is the rebel in her family and doesn’t want to shift just because their Alpha demands it. So she is a few years passed when she should’ve shifted for the first time. When she is at the park with her sister she notices Zane playing football with some other shifters. She’s had a crush on him for a long time but never thought he would be interested in her for obvious reasons. However one night during a party they both leave separately and end up in the same spot. They spend some time talking and Zane knows that he wants to know more about her. After going out several times with Zane she decides she’s ready to do her first shift on her own terms. However she was never told that she shouldn’t do it on her own and when she awakens after shifted she learns that their Alpha was killed nearby where she was. Did Cleo kill the pack alpha by accident? What does this mean for her and Zane?

This is an amazing collection that once I started I couldn’t put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining collection. I would recommend this set to any book lover.

I couldn’t get into this anthology but it was probably just my preferences for longer stories. I am sure a lot of people will love these books. They are a mixture of different types of shifters and feisty heroines. If you want to know the names of the stories, they are: The Prince’s Mate, Alpha’s Claim, Alpha’s Territory, The Hunted, Returning to the Dragon, Lost Land, Alpha’s Hostage, Forbidden, Way Out West Shifter, First Shift, and Waking the Dragon.
