This story had me hooked from beginning to end!! omg! so good! i could not put it down! it was so easy to read this baby, page by page. and then i was like I want more I loved all the characters and interested plot. Also, three handsome guys tell you, that you are a goddess!? ok. at least they are handsome and you got a free house. The house is Magical…talking rocks, and cute tour guides?! yes plz! Great chemistry even tho i still can’t tell who Evangeline likes..but i know who i like . #DibsOnKai&Poseidon&theSquad
What happens when you rescue yet another stranger, and it gets you fired? For Evangeline Lewis, it means it’s time to spread your wings. The night she’s fired, she receives a strange wooden box with a key and letter enclosed. The letter informs her that she’s inherited a house in Surprise, Arizona and the key will open the door. Packing up her meager belongings, she heads out the next day. After having a rather strange run of bad luck, she finally reaches Surprise and her house.
Trying to find answers as to who left her the house, she meets with the owners of Three Kings, the company that held her house in trust until it was time for her to inherit. The three owners, instead of giving her the answers she’s searching for, add to her confusion and astonishment by claiming that the ancient Greek gods are real and alive. As a matter of fact, she’s talking to the big three now, Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades and they’ve informed her that she’s a long lost goddess. As a bonus, they throw in a job offer. You know they can’t have some unknown goddess running around unattended when she’s about to come into her full powers.
With a cast of gods that include Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, the winds, and a talking tortoise, you know this series is off to a great start. I can’t wait to see what happens to Eva and the rest of the gods in the first full book of the series. The writing’s funny, the characters are fully fleshed out and wonderful, and the storyline’s intriguing. This novella has me hooked and I don’t want to miss what happens next!
