I’m in desperate need of a savior.Kidnapped. Tied to a bed. Out of options. Out of luck.Until the Sheriff comes roaring in and busts the place up.He’s just the man I was waiting for.I’ve always loved older men.I’ve always loved a man in uniform. With the Sheriff, I don’t stand a chance. He has me on board before he even says one word. He’s a protective polar bear shifter named Austin Peters, and … shifter named Austin Peters, and once he gets his hands on me, he refuses to let me go.
And I can tell by the possessive look in his icy blue eyes that he’s going to keep me.
He keeps saying I’m his territory. That my body is his to claim.
He says I’m his mate and that he waited fifty-two years to have me…
…and now, he’s done waiting.
Well, so am I.
Do you like an alpha who snarls in the streets and growls in the sheets? You’ll love Austin, an older polar bear shifter who takes one look at his young mate and becomes off-the-rails obsessed!
This is the fourth book in the series, but it can be read as a standalone. Bare for the Alpha is the first, Spread for the Alpha is the second, and Wet for the Alpha is the third.
No cheating and a furry HEA guaranteed. Enjoy!

I like the fact the love is not set by an age gap like in the real wold it can happen. This was a great ending to a 4 book set. Each can be read alone but better when read together
Out of all the books in this series. This was by far the favorite. It seemed to have more development than the others. Still lacks quite a bit background about this particular world its written in. All in all it was the best out of 4. The polar bear Sherriff finally finds his mate who is wayyy young but thats okay. It was still sweet and he was really good to her. It wasnt a wham bam thank you ma’am. He actually took the time to get to know her a little and she also went through something terrible. Ellie’s definitely a damsel and lets Austin take the lead and care for her. It was terrible what her parents did. I have to say though it was really easy to get rid of bodies in this series. Kind of unrealistic but okay not a huge deal. Best out of 4.
This insta-love/fated-mates tale is a good, quick, spicy read. I was happy to see Austin get his own story & HEA in this series, even though he isn’t really a Ridge Brother. (He’s actually the father of Kingsley, who is the mate of Damon Ridge from Book #1.) Ellie is a virgin (because, of course, she is!) and has been saving herself for the right guy; and even though Austin is obviously not, he’s still been waiting years for his mate. Even though things move very fast for these two, since that’s how things supposed to be for fated mates, it’s okay. This is actually a cute story, with some fun follow-up to these and other characters, although I did think there were a few too many epilogues.
I really liked this book. Austin and Ellie are great together. I thought it would be weird because of the age difference, but age didn’t really enter into their relationship other than to be mentioned. The relationship was sweet and steamy. Great story! Definitely recommend. Must read!
Yes, yes, YES! I’m already re-reading this book–that’s how much I loved it!
Austin might be the most alpha of all the bear shifters in the Ridge Brother’s collection.
At the ripe old age of 52 years old, Austin has come to terms that he may never find his mate. After a failed marriage and a daughter who has her own mate he’s just coasting through life as the sheriff of his small little town.
However, that all changes with one whiff of a kidnapped woman’s clothing. He’s on the hunt, and not just for the criminals who dare lay a hand on this woman. But for his mate who he’s been waiting years to finally show up.
Enjoyed this story and was quite impressed and happy that Austin was going to get a book after his seeming depressing lifestyle. But I guess I wish this was a bit more fleshed out rather than just all about the lustful thought between both of these characters.
I wasn’t too thrilled with this one. It was almost exactly like the other ones other than it was with an older man and younger girl. It was nice to see the sheriff finally get his mate. But still too many repeats.
Coming Full Circle
Each book is hotter than the next and this one was no exception. I was thrilled that Austin, at 52, got his happily ever after with Ellie! And just like the others, there was definitely no shortage of sizzling heat and possessiveness. I may have shed a tear or two as this final book rounded out the series.
As sad as it was to say goodbye to them all, I found comfort in the epilogues that span 20 years and gives us a further look into each family, respectively. These Alphas will always have a special place in my heart!
OTT SLAYS IT AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!
