Love this action packed and entertaining book.
Excellent. Great series. Full character development. Rich descriptions without trying too hard. Immersive writing. Good flow.
a good read. love the characters and the story line. did not get bored, would read more of this author.
Loved it!!
Toby Neal writes solid, interesting stories that I enjoy reading
I always love Toby Neal’s books set in Hawaii, and this one is no exception. It’s part of a series, but stands alone quite easily. A police detective novel with all the twists, turns, and frustrations that life can bring.
I can’t get enough of the Lei Crime series.
Pleasant and entertaining and not predictable but wimpy ending
Interesting plot.
True to the Lei Texiera series, this book has a Hawaiian setting and local characters. I enjoyed learning about competitive professional surfing.
Lei is a cut above many female action heroes — so I keep rooting for her and she comes through. Unlike Kinsey Millhone, whose death I would have welcomed by the middle of her second book.
Toby Neal is always a good read
AWFUL!
nice, smooth writing, interesting look at the surfing world, presumably accurate as the writer lives there colorful description really makes me want to see the islands
I loved this one so much I got the whole series. Loved the way the characters are built up. Even when I don’t agree with where the story goes, I still enjoyed it.
I love mysteries to start with and these add the bonus of the Hawaiian locations. I do wax nostalgic with these. The stories are good and when combined with the locations, these books move to the top of my favorites list.
Thank you so much for writing them. I saw where this is near the end of the journey for these characters. Please consider a new series set in the islands.
Aloha!
