Just finished this, new to this author, very good, kept hurrying back to it. A new and different detective novel, Refreshing, interesting, a lot going on with all the different connected characters.
Loved it
Great stories, start at the beginning, you will be hooked! Cheers
Love Maui, so reading a book about Maui was delightful.
Not bad. I enjoyed it…
It took me a while to get into the book but when I did I could not put it down.
A detective series and a really good read.
“Book ‘em Dano” . What a group of twisted talented people gone astray. Throw away the key. Great writer.
4 stars!
I love Toby Neal’s Lei T. Series. This book was not a disappointment.
Love all of the books in this series!
A tragic Hawaiian surfing accident that turns into murder gives the lead detective many leads but little evidence. Author usage of subplots from previous books in the series provides some information to the reader on why things are the way they are. The reader follows the lead detective as information is gathered to confront the main suspects hoping one will confess. No valid confession occurs until a minor book character sees the truth and acts upon it.
Good characters, nice setting and excellent twists and turns.
The descriptions of the islands, surf, beaches, surf life, dark underbelly and all provide a picturesque locale for a murder investigation. Did not see the end coming. Good story.
All the books in this series are great reads. I look for ward to the next one.
Good read! Great story,
An excellent read. This author has written a lot of great books
Great book. I will read more of her books.
Some interesting twists…especially energizing to learn about the Hawaiian culture while figuring out the “who-done-it”…would have appreciated a richer vocabulary… : )
