Pretty things aren’t meant to be broken. But I broke her, and now we both have to pay the price.I’m her nightmare.I’m her savior. And now that I have her signature on an ironclad contract, I own her body and soul. She doesn’t remember me.She will. It’s inevitable.Because as much as I know I need to stay away, for fear of unlocking the memories I helped her father bury–I can’t.She was the apple in … the memories I helped her father bury–I can’t.
She was the apple in the Garden, dangled in front of me, her core so tempting and sweet. A voice whispered. Just. One. Bite.
I bit.
I tasted.
I fell.
Welcome to the world of the Russian mafia, where death, is your only future.

RIP is book 1 in new mafia spin off series Elite Bratva Brotherhood from Eagle Elite series welcoming us into world of Russian Mafia and damn this world is SO MUCH MORE! MORE DARK, MORE INTENSE, MORE CRAZY , MORE GRITTY, JUST MORE.
Nikolai have always been an intriguing character as soon as he was introduced in EE series! And he gets more intriguing as the book goes on! I was so excited to get to know his story and this definitely did not disappoint. And holy shit prepared to be amazed, confused and mind blown at the same time! I was on edge, biting my nails and losing my mind and it keeps getting crazier and more complex as it goes on!
Rachel delivered a perfect, different, action packed, exceptional romantic suspense full of lies, mystery, secrets, twists and turns that i read it in one sitting. I couldn’t get enough of it. From beginning to the very end, Rip will have you shocked, consumed, mesmerized and panting for more.
Rachel have turned me into an addict and now i crave more and more of her stories!! Can’t wait to read DEBASE now!
Ok read. It started off good and captivating but it died off towards the end. Love bringing in the previous series book characters. Nik and Maya book was ok.
I voluntarily reviewed this advance reader copy of this book
* 3.5-4 Stars*
It took me a while to get into this one, and decide if I liked Nikolai or not. I think I’m so used to the EE guys, that this spinoff with these guys just didn’t seem too right at first. It seemed, more harsh, if that even makes sense. Not that the EE guys are innocent or anything, but there’s a whole different tone in this one.
I liked Maya, she was pretty cool, and given that we knew more about things as the reader, than she did as the character, it was interesting to watch how she navigated through, and what actually started coming out.
I had my suspicions about a certain character as well, and they turned out to be correct, but way worse than I had been thinking.
Lots of layers in this one, and also some surprises too.
Enjoyed it, but not as much as our EE guys. Still another great addition to this series, and I do recommend.
I’ve read every one of Rachel’s mafia books and the spin off books, but some how I skipped this one. I have no clue how I did it. But I finally realized that I haven’t read it. It made an awesome rainy weekend read.
Nik isn’t your normal hero. Yes, he saves Maya, but at what cost? To him. And to her.
I’m not going to say too much about the book, I would hate to give anything away. But Nik is a brilliant doctor and even if he is mafia, he does actually try to help some of these women. They may not have any choices, but he gives them what he can.
Maya is great.
I swear Phoenix is related to everyone in some way. This may be the Russian side, but we do see all the guys from the Italian families.
There are times I didn’t know what to do with Nikolai but damn I loved that man, “his eyes darkened as he leaned forward and flicked his tongue across his lips. “Are you asking me if I like getting dirty?” I have to give the boy props he’s quite the protective man, “he touched you?” Nikolai’s brown eyes were crazed. “Maya…don’t lie to me. Did he touch you? Ever?” The main thing we need to know about mafia men is that when they fall for their women they have a one track mind, “we have to get back to work today…and I’m going to have a hell of a time keeping my hands off you.” I loved this book, I’m still curious about Sergio and how he’ll work out I can’t wait for the next book.
I love this spin off of the Eagle Elite series. He is probably my favorite guy from that series and I am so glad he got his own book. Do not miss this one.
