RIOT HOUSE is a 137,000-word standalone book in the Crooked Sinners Series and does not end on a cliffhanger. Future books in the series will feature other characters. This book contains dark content that may be considered a trigger for some readers, and as such is recommended for readers 17+
They might be richer than gods, but they’re morally bankrupt.
As far as the boys who run America’s most … run America’s most exclusive international academy are concerned, I’m an unwelcome interloper, an inconvenience, and they’re determined to make my life a living hell.
When Wren Jacobi sets eyes on Wolf Hall Academy’s newest inductee, all he sees is an easy mark. A reserved little girl with a target painted on her back. He knows nothing of my troubled past, though. Nothing of my mother’s suspicious death, or the horrific treatment I’ve had to endure at the hands of my psychotic father. And he has no idea of the lengths that I, unassuming little Elodie Stillwater, will go to in order to break the savage beast who dreams of breaking me first.
There’s a wolf stalking the forests that surround my new school.
Little does he know…
There are far scarier predators lurking out there in the dark.

The Riot House boys are mean and dirty. They are known for their wild and outlandish parties. Three boys with three completely different personalities that rule the Wolf Hall.
After her mother’s death Elodie carries the scars that were forced upon her as a teen under her father’s military rule. She was shipped to the states to attend a prestige academy. An academy that had secrets of its own.
With the news of a new girl attending the Wolf Hall Wren researched the girl’s secrets so he knows how to break her. Much to his surprise upon meeting Elodie he wonders if it’s the other way around.
When Wren takes Elodie to home to meet his father, General Jacobi..well that was an interesting scene I can’t forget. Loved it!
One of Wolf Hall’s secret is revealed which causes confusion to Elodie and who she can trust.
Wren and Elodie’s relationship is beautiful and poetic. Elodie brought light to Wren’s blackened soul.
Riot House is having another party! If you live through this one count yourself lucky.
Mystery, suspense, murder, lies and romance.
Devilishly dirty and sinfully delicious.
This YA bully romance is definitely not for the younger audience.
Unique, dark and seductive this complex story of a certain groups of high schoolers was full of unexpected twists and turns I never saw coming. This is Wren and Elodie ‘s story.
Their chemistry was combustible and how their story evolved and developed was mesmerizing.
Things are not what they appear and making that discovery made the characters even more likable!
These characters were first introduced in this author’s contribution Bully Me Class of 2020. Except this version is a longer, bigger hefty story.
4.5 stars!
Damn, Callie Hart! What an intense ride. A (very) mature YA bully romance that is dramatic, emotional, sexy and romantic with a lot of heart. It totally captivated me, and I was completely drawn in by these incredibly complex characters and their wonderfully written story.
Elodie Stillwater is the 17-year-old daughter of an Army General stationed in Israel, and she has suddenly, and without warning, been shipped off from her home with her father to an exclusive private boarding school in the US. It’s definitely a shock, and while Elodie is sad to leave behind her friends and the life that she knows, she is thrilled to be away from her violent and controlling father, and she’s ready to face whatever Wolf Hall Academy brings her way.
“Wren is the stuff of sweet, heavenly dreams, and twisted, terrifying nightmares.”
Wren Jacobi and his two friends own Wolf Hall Academy. They are ‘those’ boys – the gorgeous, rich assholes that everybody wants to be in with. They live just off campus in a home dubbed ‘Riot House’ where they think up malicious plots to entertain themselves at the expense of others. And Wren has set his sights firmly on newcomer, Elodie.
“Why am I so dead set on her?
Because she’s innocent, and I’m not.
Because she’s wholesome, and I’m not.
Because she’s untainted, and I’m not.
And most importantly of all, because she’ll be so pretty when I make her cry.”
Elodie has a harsh introduction to her new world, but she’s been through a lot in her short life, and she is stronger than anybody gives her credit for. She’s brave, sarcastic, and a bit of a badass, and the more I got to know her, the more I absolutely loved her! And to Wren’s utter surprise, he becomes intrigued by his new target.
“I’m cursed with this bewildering fascination over you, and it’s really becoming… inconvenient, Stillwater.”
It’s a wonderful dynamic between the two of them. The attraction is there from the beginning, but of course the fact that they are attracted to each other just pisses them both off, which is highly entertaining. But as Wren pushes, and Elodie pushes back, things begin to change. There is this incredible honesty between the two of them, and they don’t hold back when it comes to telling it like it is, which I love!
“Tell me I’m wrong. You don’t imagine me. You’re not plagued by me day and night, the way I’m plagued by you. See, I have no problem with the truth. I made friends with it a long time ago. A lie only makes a fool of the liar. The truth always comes out. I am besieged by you, and it fucking sucks. You’re in my head when I wake up. You’re in my head when I wander around this wretched place, and you’re still there, tormenting the ever-loving shit out of my when I close my eyes at night.”
…
“Fine. You’re right. I’m rotten and eaten up on the inside because of you. Is that what you want to hear? I let something spoiled and bad into my head, and now I can’t rid myself of it, and it’s festering away, driving me madder and madder by the day. Congratu-fucking-lations. I’m going against every ounce of common sense I own every damn day, and I’m making decisions I know are fucking stupid, and I can’t do anything about it! How fucked up is that!”
They are so confused by all that they are feeling, and they just let that out there, not hiding anything from each other, but both of them prepared to explore what’s between them despite what everybody else in the school thinks, and all indications that they should keep their distance, and I loved watching the slow shift
“You are going to be mine, Elodie Stillwater. Of all my sins and misdeeds, making you fall in love with me will be the very worst of them.”
Bully romances aren’t my favourite – there’s only so much bad behaviour I can deal with before I hate both characters for being either an asshole or a doormat. But this is the kind of bully romance I can handle. The hero is initially an ass, yes, but he changes for the better. It’s not sudden, it’s not cheesy, it’s realistic and it’s a huge part of his development throughout the story, and once Wren realises that he has fallen for Elodie, there is no going back for him.
Behind every action, every thought, and every word lies the nagging question: what would Elodie think of me if she could see me now?
It’s a burden, this shift in attitude. It doesn’t come naturally; it requires constant work, and the new restrictions I’ve placed upon myself chafe like nothing else.
She didn’t ask me to change.
She hasn’t really asked anything of me, but this gnawing desire to make her happy, to make her proud of me, is ever constant. For her, I want to be better than my soiled, rotten soul has ever been before.
It’s intense and all consuming, and holy hell, it’s sexy. Are 17-year-olds really having sex like this? Just damn. But underneath it all is a strong emotion that is beautifully expressed as Elodie and Wren figure out their feelings… in their own unique way.
“In case you haven’t realized it yet, you are endgame for me, Elodie Stillwater. And everyone else in the entire world can go and eat a dick.”
The love story develops alongside a whole heap of drama happening at the school and in their personal lives. Both Elodie and Wren’s family situations are a mess, Wren’s friends in Riot House have their own issues going on, and there’s a secret about a past student that nobody seems to want to talk about. It builds to an exciting and suspenseful finish that had me madly flipping pages, and though I guessed some of what was going on, it was still a great ride.
I loved this book. The characters are complex and lovable, with great growth, and their dynamic is just fantastic! The dark and gritty is balanced really well with lighter moments, and Hart’s writing is spot-on, wrapping you up and sucking you right into the story. It’s a strong beginning for the Crooked Sinners series, with other characters just begging to have their stories told and I’m really excited to return to this world with more books in the future.
I loved it – 4.5 stars.
This book was absolutely amazing, one of my faves from Callie which surprised me as I thought nothing could top her Raleigh Rebels Series.
Right from the Prologue I was HOOKED. That Prologue has to be the best start I have ever read in any book. It draws you in straight away and made me completely desperate to know what was going on.
I wont say much about the storyline as dont want to give anything away but it is full of supsense, twists and plenty of shocks.
I loved the relationship between Elodie and Wren. It was unique and not what you might expect. I loved Elodie’s strength throughout the book but Wren, omg Wren stole my heart. There are literally no words I can use to describe his character.
I never really comment on the way an author writes their books but the way Callie wrote this was so mesmerising and captivating. The images she creates with her words make you feel you are part of the story and right there alongside the characters.
Being banished to “Wolf Hall Academy” is no punishment for Elodie Stillwater, in fact its an escape she desperately needed from her father. It means Safety …..or does it?
A school full of history and mystery, filled with secrets and drama, and at the head of the snake is the Riot boys, Cold, Cruel and calculating,Wren, Dash and Pax.
She just wants to get the rest of the year over, graduate and vanish.
He wants to hurt and destroy her, Wren always gets what he wants!
She is like a moth to a flame, she can’t stay out of his orbit, the harder she tries the harder she falls.
He is bewildered by his own response to her, she is like air and life, he can’t resist keeping her close.
Oh what a tangled web Callie Hart weaves. Drama angst and danger keep you glued to the pages. Wren, The Knight in shining Armour he is not!,then again he just might be… but Elodie needs no saviour, this girl has an inner strength, after all she has endured worse! Wren is all bad yet he’s loyal and some good does shine through.
The first part of the book was a little slow, but it was well worth persevering, because the slow burn became a furnace!
Callie Hart has a way with words and does an excellent job of reeling us in as Elodie and Wren became More and then boom badda BOOM!
Now i am really hoping we get more!
Riot House is chaos and mess. Riot House is intrigue, mystery and darkness. Riot House is sinful, dirty and explosive. Riot House is bully romance at it’s best. Callie Hart’s mindblowing writing created an intense, angsty, jaw dropping and breathtaking romance all the way.
It felt like Callie Hart was ticking off things from my “best romance ever” checklist one by one.
Broken Brooding Arrogant Hero? Check.
Sassy Fierce Heroine With Miles Long Issues? Check.
Angsty chemistry? Enemies to Lovers deliciousness? Storyline to die for? All the checks!
Wren Jacobi is guy who has a black heart, black mood and black sense of humor. Students in Wolf Hall are scared of him and his friends who rule their elite school from Riot House. Elodie has been shipped here by her tyrannical army general father. And she has caught attention of Wren. It can be a good thing or bad thing. Depends on how she can handle Wren. As Wren plays tricks with her body and heart, Elodie discovers that Wolf Hill doesn’t have a closet but a house full of secrets and mysteries.
Wren is the kind of guy I love to hate and hate to love. Like his jagged edges cut me deep but I want to heal him. Like he infuriates me with his cryptic personality but also turns me on. Elodie is an amazing girl. Her past is full of darkness, pain and sufferings. Those haunt her nightmares. But she is a fighter and survivor. And she came out of the trial stronger. They have an unusual chemistry. I am having a hard time to describe with words. How do you describe a relation that borders on love and hate? How do you define a realtion that is equally toxic and healing? Let’s just say Elodie found the mangled heart of Wren and filled it with love. And Wren made sure the terrified girl inside brave Elodie never feels lonely, unsafe or unworthy. The story has some sick twists and I chewed off my nails for real. The shock factor is impossibly high and I bet you will not be able to guess what’s coming.
Riot House by Callie Hart was a mix of dangerous, delicious and swoonworthy. If you are a dark bully romance fan like me, you just cannot miss it at any cost.
Received ARC for honest review
I love Callie Hart’s unique brand of dark romance…its unmistakable. And she has outdone herself with this dark and twisty tale! I’m always left in awe at her wonderful mind and the stories she comes up with. She never fails to amaze me with not only her writing and creativity but also just how terrific she is with enthralling me from the onset.
Riot House left me so captivated from the beginning that I never wanted the story to end. A storyline so unique and intriguing and certainly keeps you on your toes. Wren and Elodie’s story is intense and complicated. Wren isn’t your typical bad boy bully and honestly the character evolution of him floored me in the best possible way, and he made me swoon. Elodie likewise is an amazing girl. Her past is full of darkness, pain and suffering. However, her ordeals are what makes her fearless and a fighter and a survivor. I found Wren and Elodie’s relationship seriously fascinating to read, both suffering with inner turmoil, yet both strong willed. And that is what I loved most about this story. Callie Hart manages to capture it all; the passion, the suspense, the love and hate, and even the obsessions.
This story was dark, suspenseful, sexy as hell, raw, sinister, and dare I say a whole lotta sweet (which I really appreciated and found so refreshing). And it honestly had me guessing right until the end. When I thought the story was going one way, something would happen unexpectedly. The twists and turns were jaw dropping. I’m incredibly excited to get to know the side characters all of which have very intriguing stories of their own to tell. Riot House gave me all the feels of an epic Callie Hart read and is one not to be missed.
Riot House by Callie Hart is the first book in the brand new Crooked Sinners Series. This is the emotional journey of two broken souls, Wren and Elodie.
Wren is the ruler of his Academy, the bad boy that just found his new target the moment he set his eyes on Elodie. What he doesn’t know, is that she’ll be the one to change his life, and his ways.
The story is long, but beautifully well written. So many twists, and turns that will keep you in suspense the entire time. The chemistry and connection between Wren and Elodie is palpable, and it makes you feel everything they’re going through, their pain, the attraction, the passion and love.
Their journey is a wild ride that kept hooked until the very end. Plot holes are not my thing, but I guess those are left there for a reason.
All in all this was a fantastic begining to a new series, and I recommend that you give it a try.
4 incredible stars!
Riot House was an emotional, cryptic, heart pounding story that just kept getting more and more intense as the read went on! Something about Elodie drew me in from the very beginning. She was so broken and hurting, but kept this impenetrable facade up. It was clear that something was truly broken in her relationship with her father, which shaped her into a hesitant, guarded, self-protective woman. As those truths came out, I only loved her character more and more. Her back story was truly one of the most gut-wrenching I’ve read in a long time!
Wren Jacobi was the epitome of a bad boy you should stay far, far away from! His dark and uncaring demeanor made him seem like a complete a-hole. But something about Elodie sparked something inside him. She held a power over him she didn’t even know she possessed. The connection that Wren and Elodie shared was not only special but it was built on a deeper understanding of what their pasts and upbringing exposed them to. It was built on a understanding of pain and sacrifice.
The lengths that Wren went to learn more about Little E before she arrived at Wolf Hall, to get close to her, to protect her. Un-freakin-believable. He was in love with her before he even laid eyes on her.
The best parts of the book surrounded Wren and Elodie. Many of the side characters were completely unlikable and untrustworthy. Aside from Carina, I didn’t care for a single other character in the book. The fellow students/friends were all negative and didn’t bring any joy to the story. I’m sure there’s some deep misconceptions, especially with Pax and Dashiell (future books maybe?) but I didn’t like them at all! They didn’t seem to care about anyone but themselves. They even turned on their own best friend at times, not wanting to see him happy.
Suspense and secrets mounted throughout the story, until they blew up at the end in the most insane ending imaginable! I did NOT see it coming or predict who the players would be. It was not only upsetting but also a little haunting. The lengths that people will go for love, unrequited especially, can be truly unpredictable. There were so many broken characters in this story, all falling victim to their own demons.
I wanted a little more from the ending. I felt like the book left off in a good place but I could have used a little more closure to the HEA. I hope the author decides to revisit these characters in a future book.
Firstly the cover is just and it‘s definitely how I imagined Wren to look like.
The story of Wren and Elodie starts of slow but you‘ll get pulled into the story so fast you don‘t even realize it. In the beginning Callie introduces us to a new world and new characters who all have very much to tell.
Wolf Hall Academy is full of little secrets. After a few hard years our heroine Elodie unwillingly transfers to Wolf Hall. On her arrival day she meets the mysterious Wren. Obviously she‘s intrigued but lerns fast that he‘s just another asshole.
During the course of the book we get to meet many of the second characters like Wren‘s Friend Pax and Dash, which have their own story and I hope to get those soon.
The book is one of a kind. At first it seems like a bully romabce/enemies to lovers but it‘s so much more. You can see that the feelings are real even when it started for a very different reason. You can see Wren grow and Elodie get stronger with each chapter.
There is also a mystery aspect in the book, which honestly was very good executed. I couldn‘t figure it out until the very last minute and it was an epic revelation.

ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Wowza!! Talk about a crazy dark bully romance!! Elodie is sent to New Hampshire to attend another boarding school from one day to the next. Who knew she was leaving a hazardous home life to a chaotic mystery of a school. This book definitely kept me on my toes and sometimes I didn’t know who to believe, what was coming next and all of the bombs that were dropped along the way had me at the edge of my seat. I’m excited for more to come in this series! This is definitely one book that intrigues you from the beginning.
I read a preview of the Riot House in the Bully Me anthology last month and I’ve been looking forward to returning to this world since then. I can’t remember reading something so poetically lovely wrapped around such a tragic story in a very long time. Callie Hart’s words are top shelf level gorgeous, her descriptions are eloquent, even when you are reading about dark topics I am so taken in and wrapped up in the beautiful writing that I could read her words forever.
Wren Jacobi is a dark, poetically tragic soul. He comes across as an enigma, with just enough damage without being completely broken. He believes his heart is blackened, under lock and key and shut up tight, but he is also artistic (expressing his emotions through other means), he’s also intelligent, and strategic with every life move he makes. A gorgeous specimen of a man who can battle with big words, sharp logic, while digging into your psyche to tear apart your soul. As much as he prepared for Elonie Stillwater’s arrival he never took into account her own will and determination. I loved reading his character shape and reshape as the story progressed.
Elonie was raised under her militant father and bears many scars of her own. While many students would hate to be away from their families at boarding school she isn’t one of them. However, when she arrives, meets Wren and his initial threat to watch her back is layed down she isn’t scared since she has faced worse than pretty boy Wren Jacobi. Even with his continued scrutiny, his friends snide remarks, and just overall unsettling feeling she enjoys being away from her militant father, anything is better than that. She is also somewhat of a mystery. She has many layers that slowly are revealed as the story progresses and she is a powerful woman to be revered.
Wren is fascinated by Elonie. Her gumption to never give in intrigues him, she may not be the lamb he thought she was initially. Elonie finds herself pulled to Wren even when her instincts tell her she shouldn’t. Who is the lamb and who is the wolf? Come to Riot House and find out.
4 stars for Black Feathers
First things first – the cover is sooooooo hot!
That pulled me to it and then the Blurb. Callie’s books teeter on the thin Gray line generally. A risqué author who pushes readers to go a step further into the darkness very skillfully. This book centers around the dreaded Wolf Hall Academy! .
“This place isn’t a regular school for regular kids. It’s a jail cell dressed up as a place of learning, where army officers who can’t be bothered dealing with their own kids dump them without a second thought, knowing that they’ll be watched over with a military-like focus. Wolf Hall.”
Imposing, cryptic and treacherous, the Academy and the building itself hides dark secrets and dangers in its shadowed halls and dark a coves. It’s where Wren Jacobi rules with his posse of Pax and Dashiell
“Riot House boy?”
“Those three idiots have a house halfway down the mountain. They call it Riot House.”
Here students are left by their military parents, forgotten and existing blindly. And in stumbles Elodie Stillwater, virtually banished by her father- Colonel Stillwater
The story centers around these young people trying to ward off danger from all sides. It’s maze like plot springs new surprises every now and then. Villains and heroes are often mislabelled. Scathing dialogues showcase the cruelty of the the Wolf – Pack and why they got shaped this way.
The pace is a bit slow in the first half but picks up speed around 60%.
Wren entices and lures Elodie in his web and it’s a game of cat & mouse from then on.
“The old adage is true: it’s impossible to look away from a car crash. And I already know that Wren Jacobi isn’t just a metaphorical car crash. He’s a fifteen-car pile-up, and there are already people dead at the scene. I’m headed straight for him, though, and I can’t steer myself away. Worst of all, I’m not wearing a seatbelt, and he’s cut my brake lines.”
Their relationship precarious and perilous…but it also catches the attention of a predator hidden in plain sight, ready to pounce on them.
The Explosive secret had me gasping in horror and disbelief. Callie is going there folks!!!
Fasten your seatbelt cause the ride is bumpy and scary, diving headlong into a dark cavern.
4.5 hate to love him stars!!
This is book one of the “Crooked Sinners” series and I def can’t wait to read book two. I believe these are stand alone books as well.
I don’t even want to give you a blurb. I went into this book blind thinking it was part of the bully romance world and in a sense it was BUT it wasn’t. Lol. Does that make sense?! Sometimes bully romance can frustrate me in the sense of are they really just abusive!?! This was not that. This was kind of creepy yet hot. I mean I am down with every single thing Wren is putting down from day fucking one.
Wren is a rich, quiet, asshole, hot, black wearing teenage boy. Who likes grows up before your eyes. I will say his friends irritate the shit out of me so their books will be interesting to say the least. But Wren I loved from the very beginning. He falls for a girl who is sure of herself and has lived through some terrible shit. Her name is Elodie and she is amazing as well. I loved her from page one. Her friends they irk me as well but we shall see. The two of them together…. HOT!!
I think my only critique is the length of the book. It is very long and you feel it. It’s too much. Some of the extra stuff could be cut back and this would be a 5 star, best seller. I still think this book is original and good as hell. Plus look at this cover. How could you pass that up?!!!!
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
This is so much more than a bully romance. I was not expecting it at all. I’m blown away with just how good this read it. It’s mysterious, there are lies, secrets and very entertaining.
The characters are exceptional. Wren and Elodie are so much fun to read and their story kept me on the edge of my seat. The writing was phenomenal and I’m totally in love with the story. I’ll definitely read this again. Loved it

3.5 Riot Stars
Callie Hart is a talented writer and I have enjoyed her works for many years now. Her characters are well developed and the plots are always engaging and easy to get lost in. Sadly, that wasn’t the case for Riot House. I held off on reading the little bit released in the Bully Me anthology because I wanted to read the whole story at once. I was excited to read Riot House because I love Callie’s previous enemies to lovers romance trilogy and I enjoy her writing style, so it pains me to write this review.
Wren and Elodie are both 17 year old students at the prestigious Wolf Hall Academy in New Hampshire. Wren has more money than he knows what to do with and lives with his two friends Dash and Pax at the bottom of the hill in what is known as Riot House. It is eluded to that he had a poor home life but aside from one interaction, there really is no explanation given on that. He’s emotionally scarred and struggles with his feelings towards Elodie. He became obsessed with Elodie before even meeting her and it was said he wanted to hurt her yet there was no WHY. He is described as dark and dangerous but I didn’t get those vibes from him at all. Alpha and possessive , absolutely, but never did I question Elodie’s safety or feel that he did anything that would put her in danger. But even towards the end of the story I was still struggling with whether it was obsession or love that Wren was feeling towards her. He was definitely more sweet at the end of the story, but I never found him to be mean or a bully to begin with.
Elodie has to leave her life and friends behind when she was shipped to Wolf Hall all the way from Tel Aviv, basically because her father is psychotic. He holds a high military ranking and expects 110% from her at all times. She just wanted to to do her work and stay on her father’s good side. She wasn’t planning on making friends or falling in love.
This book is long. Too long. By 25% I was getting antsy and by 40% I was bored and started skimming, which I don’t like to do. It wasn’t until about 55% that the story started picking up steam and It was at around 70% I was thoroughly engrossed. The plot twist was shocking, consistent with Callie’s style that I love, and left my jaw on the floor.
I think if the book was shortened and some plots holes were filled, this could be a 5 star read. I would’ve liked to see a little more character development for Wren too. I did see that Dash and Pax will be getting their own stories so maybe some questions will be answered in their books. Even though this book isn’t a favorite of mine, I enjoyed the last half and the premise of Riot House so I will probably check out the next book in the series.

Another fabulous book from the amazing Callie Hart!
I can’t fully describe how giddy I feel before opening one of Callie’s books. She has taken me on many adventures, and I have loved them all. She has become an automatic one-click buy for me.
Riot House is an enemies-to-lovers romance, and the storyline is dark, intense, and full of angst. It tells the story of Wren Jacobi and Elodie Stillwater, and they go to a prestigious boarding school in New Hampshire. Elodie’s father abruptly sent her to the Wolf Hall Academy, and she met Wren the evening that she arrived. Wren, along with his best friends Dash and Pax, lives in a house near the school, and they call it the Riot House.
Wren is such a brooding anti-hero, and Elodie is a strong female character. I liked her from the very beginning, and their romance was intense. I became completely engrossed from the first page and was on the edge of my chair.
I just absolutely loved this story, and I’m looking forward to reading Dash and Pax’s story!

The Queen of dark romance rules again…her twisted mind is pure genius!
I’ve always loved Callie’s brand of dark romance…it’s unmistakable, but even she outdid herself with this book!
Welcome to the world of Wolf Hall…a boarding academy unlike anything you’ve heard about before…everything from its appearance to the people inside it’s walls.
Wren, despite being beautiful on the outside, is cold and cruel, taking pleasure in playing with other people’s lives. Along with his two equally deviant friends, they play by their own set of rules, living outside the school grounds at their own home, aptly named Riot House. Wren has set his sights set on the new girl, which means Elodie has become his new obsession, the new toy he looks forward to breaking. Little does he know that Elodie won’t be easy to break…others have tried and not succeeded. When his plan doesn’t go at all like he’d thought, he may end up being the one who’s broken.
The Prologue, as well as intermittent parts of the book are glimpses of something happening at a different time, which adds a terrifying and mysterious element to an already gripping story.
More than just dark, this story is raw, gritty, sinister, but also sexy, steamy, and believe it or not, sweet. Well done, Callie…now I’m excited for more in this series!
Broken hearts find each other. Wren and Elodie never let anyone close but they are drawn to each other. Loved their story and can’t wait for the next book!!!
Holy Hell Y’all! I loved every single freaking second of this book. Wren and Elodie’s story was Ah-May-Zing! I’m still trying to wrap all my thoughts around all the feelings this book threw my way, but I am all in on this new world and all about these Riot House boys, Callie Hart, has created. I want, I need, NO I absolutely can’t wait to have more from this world. Wren Jacobi the dark, devious Raven loving painter and Elodie, his ass kickin heroine with a tragic past have stolen my heart, broken my heart, and then mended my heart right along with their own. This is the kind of bully romance that does it for me, and Callie Hart, did it oh so good!
This phenomenal book was an explosion of everything awesome out of every genre I love. So much more than I thought I was going to get when I started this “bully romance.” I plowed through this book in record time, I practically ignored all else in my life. It’s that good, my friends. I can’t wait for more in this series.

Cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!

Action, secrets , suspense, angst, hella hot and sexy times, so much heart, banter, blood, creepy stalking, sweat, tears, fight scenes, forgiveness, revenge, and frustration, lies on top of lies! Y’all the change in the H. Talk about brought to his knees by our sassy heroine. Twists and turns around every corner, I cannot stress enough HOW FREAKIN GOOD this book is! These characters are PHENOMENAL! The ones you instantly loved and the ones we instantly hated, that I just know we are gonna love done the road. GAH! I need more, like yesterday.
