My childhood was perfect.
I’ve led a charmed life, and I’m not going to blow it now by picking the wrong guy.
I’ve got my sights set on my brother’s best friend.
He’s known my family for years. He’s reliable and kind and handsome.
Sure, he’s been avoiding me since I was six.
I’m a bit aggressive for him, maybe.
But he’s the one… right?
Right is a book that you will never forget, it is by far my favorite book from Jana Aston. Beverly is all the fun she was in in Wrong and then some. Sawyer our new love interest is everything she needs. Attentive, overbearing, and hot as hell! Their love story is fun and steamy! *Fans myself if you haven’t read it, go read it right now!
Such a well written story with wonderful characters, laughter, angst, steam and an amazing happily ever after. Truly entertaining read.
I’d like to give this book eleventy million stars! Now I really enjoyed Wrong, but Right blew it out of the water for me. It had everything that I love in a book. Fantastic characters, super hotness going on and it was funny.
I can’t express my love enough for Everly, I totally dug her in Wrong. I squealed liked a 10 year old when I heard that she was going to get her own book. So she’s been a busy bee, working on her plan, her “Finn Camden plan.” She has spent years on it to make her brothers best friend Finn hers. Yeah, poor girl. She was working really hard on it too. But then she meets Sawyer (yay!), and her whole plan starts to go to pot.
“He’s attractive, I’ll give him that. If you go for tall, incredibly fit men with chiseled jaws and thick dark hair. Which no girl does, ever. It must suck to be him.”
Sawyer is fantastic! I love how he went toe-to-toe with Everly. The banter and chemistry between these two are awesome! Oh! I loved Chloe too! That girl needs a story, she works too hard.
All I can say is, way to go with this second book. You should be proud.
Hands down I would recommend this to everyone and it is so worthy of a reread..multiple times.
“I’ve said it before-life really has a way of working out for me. My advice? A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible is essential. And a dash of delusion never hurts.”
Sawyer is mine. That’s it. He’s my favorite Jana man and there’s nothing that can change that.
Sawyer and Everly are hilarious! He’s older and she’s not afraid to call him out on it. She’s persistent, he’s persistent. They are basically the same person, but it works so freaking well for them. It makes everything hilarious and sweet and so much fun!
Audio review from 2017
Everly is spitfire and Sawyer is her perfect match! These two are so stinking cute together!
And the ending totally made me go “awwwww” out loud.
Sibling’s best friend is one of my favorite tropes and I loved this one! Everly was hilarious and Sawyer was a wonderful book boyfriend. As always, Jana had me laughing out loud. If you’re looking for a romcom look no further!
EVERLY’s book is here and you do NOT want to miss it!! Gah, This girl! I’ve been dying for her book, I knew it was going to be fantastic! I read this series out of order and started with Trust first and then Wrong and finally Right. Everly is a force to be reckoned with! This girl is batcrap, freaking crazy and I Flove it! She is my absolute, all-time favorite kinda character! I have loved her from the start and I was filled with so much anticipation for her story! I knew the man that decided to take her was going to have his work cut out for him and unfortunately that man wasn’t going to be Finn Camden! Everly is in denial, she is off her rocker, delusional in the best most hilarious way, she has had her sights set on her brother’s best friend, Finn Camden since she was six years old! She is determined, come hell or high water, that’s the man for her! She has pulled some of the craziest stunts to make her end game come true, but she didn’t plan for Sawyer Camden! Sawyer might just be crazier than her! I loved these two sooo dang much! He handles her so well, and they really are perfect for each other! The lengths that man goes to for her will melt you from the inside out! I was so head over heels for him! I never say their surprise coming! Out of all the books in this series, this is the only one that has a bit of angst in it, it’s just a minute but man, it will hit you in the feels so hard! This book is 96% hysterical, snorting laughter, and that 4% just stills the breath in your lungs but you know our girl isn’t the type to take no for an answer! I was so pleased with this book, it has to be my favorite of the series! Everyone needs an Everly in their life! I’d like to think I’m the Everly in my group and that’s probably why I love her so much! I can’t wait to go to stalk Aston for another must-read!
So Right!
Jana Aston does over the top ridiculously absurd in the greatest way possible. These two are without a doubt the most wildly absurd and perfect for each other couple I have ever had the pleasure to shake my head at.
Right is so very wrong in the most entertaining ways. From an unforgettable tour down memory lane to a wooing that can never be topped, Jana Aston either has the weirdest friends/coworkers/family to pull this crazy from or the most entertaining/deranged mind. I have met some of her author friends and the jury is still out!
Right is so beyond description. Think How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 10 Things I Hate About You, and Along Came Polly have a baby and that is Right (while also totally wrong!).
While it is absurdly entertaining (I know I said it already but it bears repeating!), Right is also a splinter. It’s one of those sneaky splinters that you don’t realize is there until your finger starts throbbing. It is already infected, red, and inflamed when you notice it. Some how it snuck under your skin while you were doing whatever. It has caught your attention and you can’t focus on anything else. It has stolen all your focus, all your attention, and now you are very aware of it. That is exactly what happens witb Right. Somehow when you wdde reading/listening, all of Everly’s OTT personality was already under your skin. She grabs your attention and it’s too late. You are already vibrating in sheer exasperation. You have already invested your judgemental mind in condemning her. You have already decided she is straitjacket material but it’s too late to turn back. It’s too late to abandon ship because you are stuck in deep. You need to be extracted with surgical tweezers. You are going to find out how loony tunes actually vets her man or how said man must also have a few acrews loose.
There is no avoiding it. Once you start this ride, you are in it for the long haul. So get your pringles, get your fish flakes, and grab the tissues- you are about to find what’s Right!
Laugh Out Loud Hilarious!
This book had me chuckling the whole way through it. Everly. What a great hilarious character. Her antics and the things that come out of her mouth, they surprised me every time. I loved that this book just had a different feel to it. You think it was headed one way, and it went another… you continue reading down this path and it makes a hard RIGHT. It was so nice not to fully expect what was going to happen.
I love the little things… the names of the characters in named after favorite characters.
If you’re looking for a slightly steamy, rom com, this is your book! But you should probably pick up WRONG first. You’ll be hooked from the beginning!
Everly is a force to be reckoned with until she met her match….
Everly has had an obsessive crush on her older brother’s best friend since she first met him at age of 6. Felt it was true love at first sight and determined to make him hers.
The set up with this book was interesting yet enjoyable. It toggles back and forth between present and past so you get pieces of everything that has happened. It is actually more enjoyable then the usual recap of the past events.
The banter and chemistry between these two are hilarious, extremely entertaining and so addictive! I can’t tell you how much I love these two. Soo perfect!
This is the second book in the Wrong series and I loved it!
*Spoilers*
This book was based on Everly and her obsession for her brother’s best friend and professor at her university, which was the whole reason, she worked her butt off in school, was to go to the same university as her brother’s best friend. Everly was kind of a crazy obsessed girl over a boy who has been in her life for years. She could not let the obsession go. She would make copies of his keys at a wedding, welcome herself into his home, show up out of the blue, so was totally psycho about this guy. That was until his brother made his way into Everly’s life! I fell in love with Everly and Sawyer! The fact that Sawyer was pursuing Everly, rather than Everly pursuing all the men or I should say man in her life. He was so sweet! They had their ups and a major down, when he found out he was a father to a child whose mother was in jail. Everly of course jumps to the conclusion that he was cheating and has a child, which he does have a child, but not with the woman she saw him with. Everly fell instantly in love with Sawyer’s child and they became one big happy family!
*** 4.5 Stars ***
Right (Wrong Series #2) by Jana Aston is a contemporary, new adult, age-gap, billionaire romance told in first person, single POV.
Everly has had a crush on her brother’s best friend, Finn, since she was six years old. Over the years, she has only become more convinced that he’s “the one” and determined to make him hers by any means necessary. So what happens when one of her schemes backfires and she’s forced to spend some time with another man? What if this man tells her that he’s right for her and Finn is all wrong? And how is it possible for a man to be so simultaneously irritating and sexy? This was not part of Everly’s plan. What’s a girl to do? Read the book to find out.
I loved Everly’s story! She and Sawyer had great chemistry and their witty banter was so fun. Everly was over-the-top in the stalkery way she pursued Finn, and it made for some hilarious moments that had me laughing and cringing at the same time. Sawyer’s behavior during the twist was a little disappointing and seemed to be a bit at odds with how he acted the rest of the story. But in the end everything worked out, and I really enjoyed reading this. It was entertaining, funny, and sexy.
I have been wanting to read this second book in this series for a while and I’m so glad I got the chance to just sit and devour it. I found Everly to be very witty and loved that she didn’t have to change herself one iota for the man she loves. He was something special too. He treats her with respect and treasures their time together. It’s a quick read and one that will have you snorting right along with Everly with her antics. She had no filter and said it how it is. Her beau was mostly on board with everything she did, especially her present for his birthday. Off now to see what’s next in this series.
Ah Ms Aston you have done it again in fact this was even better than Wrong and although this is a stand alone I would recommend you read Wrong first as that is where you meet Everly (our heroine). I loved loved loved Everly – I want her as my friend. If you have read Wrong you learn that Everly has been crushing / stalking Finn Camden since she was six years old. She is determined to make him hers but when one of her many plans to ‘make Finn Camden hers’ doesn’t work out the way she thought it would (actually none of her plans to make Finn Camden hers works out but they are hilarious to read about) she ends up in a car for three hours with a man that isn’t Finn but someone who just might be all kinds of right for her. I loved Sawyer – he was just perfect for Everly. And Chloe yeah we need to know more about her and also Sandra and Gabe – Everly needs to get meddling and sort these guys out!! Well done Jana Aston for another great read
Loved this steamy romance novel. Everly, who was great in Wrong, is back. Her antics make you laugh, and Sawyer makes you fall in love; they are great together. I highly recommend this book. It’s a quick read, and it makes you believe in happily ever after.
I enjoyed book 2 in the Wrong series. I thought Everly was quite entertaining and Sawyer was a great male character. I had 2 problems with the book though. ***SPOILERS AHEAD…READ AT OWN RISK***

1. When Everly discovers Sawyer has a son, she doesn’t make him own up to how he treated her when he “ended” it between them. I like that Everly took the mature road in their discussion BUT, it seemed to be quite a quick acceptance on her part and I would have liked to have seen Sawyer really apologize for how he spoke to her when “breaking up” with her.
2. Um, how did Sawyer even find out about the kid?? I was waiting for that to be answered but all we got was HOW his kid came to be.
Even with those two main issues for me, I really enjoyed the story. I LOL’ed several times and can’t wait to continue on with the next book!
I want to be Everly or her best friend. This series is just so much fun. The first book (Wrong) had a few inconsistencies and this one left out a some stuff that I would like answered. I’ve already read Fling so it was good to “see” Gabe again. I love how everything overlaps. Now to read Trust.
Do yourself a favor and read these books.
Jana Aston really writes a hot steamy story with great characters and I can never seem to put the book down and you’ll want to buy all the stories!
After Wrong, Right makes everything better. I loved Wrong but this book had me hooked like and sinker for Everly and Sawyer. Two of a kind they are a match made but there’s a lot, ALOT of work to do.
So far Everly’s inner and dialogue voice is hysterical.
Example: After finding out the Finn, the love of her life unbeknownst to him, will teach at Penn decides the following:….
I joined cross-country freshman year. It was the worst afternoon of my high-school life. So we aren’t going to be one of those couples who jog together. No biggie.
They head out the door with the dining chairs as I turn to Chloe. “Well, looks like we’re going to Penn. College decision done.”
“Well, one of us has the transcript for Penn,” she says slowly, wrinkling her nose at me.
“Ugh. How hard could it be?” I eye the door, hoping for another glimpse of Finn.
Chloe pinches the bridge of her nose. “It’s Ivy League, Everly.”
“So I’ll Legally Blonde myself together.”
“Good plan. You remember how that movie ended, don’t you?”
I nod. “She gets the guy.”
“Not the guy she got into law school for.”
Humph. Sometimes Chloe is just so literal. “It’s an outline, Chloe. We can edit as we go.”
Okay, it ended up meeting the initial 4 star rating. Is it good literature? Heck, no! But Right is a heck of a lot of fun. The inner monologue of the heroine is honest, out there, and frankly very familiar. She won’t buy a nail polish with a bad name, but prefers to go with colors and names reflecting her inner self. I am the same way about lipsticks.
I was a little uncomfortable with Everly’s frank acceptance of her own sexuality as well as her sexual past, but that is more of a function of my era. I’m 54 and some internal records just don’t go away. Obviously not too much of a problem.
The premise of the story is Everly has been stalking Finn since she was six. It’s not going well as she is a senior in college now, and he has made it clear he is not interested. In steps, Sawyer, Finn’s older, filthy talking, older brother. I think, yes, I know I am in love. He goes after the altogether too-much Everly, all holds barred. This book would be a good lesson for dweeby guys who don’t know how to pursue a woman. Do 50% of what Sawyer does and your there! 100% and you are stalker. Sawyer gets away with it because he’s handsome, hot, almost a billionaire and in over his head over Everly.
Sex scenes are very explicit, racy, and numerous.
There is a bump in the road, but Everly’s own stalking skills come in to play, and she shuts down a speed-bump trope that with other characters would have dragged out.
Happy to give a 4 stars. I am looking forward to reading about her anal retentive, buttoned up BF, Chloe.
