Right With Me by Stacey LewisBeing a single mom by the time Hailey Lucas turned thirty wasn’t one of her life goals. In fact, the only good thing she can find about it is being able to finally follow her dreams instead of his.Getting involved with another man isn’t in any of her plans either, especially not one with baggage of his own in the form of an ex-wife from h*ll. One he wasn’t upfront … wasn’t upfront with her about the first time they met and she wasn’t yet an ex.
Now Mitchell Anderson wants another chance, but the only thing he has going for him are his two adorable kiddos and the fact that his kisses turn Hailey to mush.
Is that enough to build a relationship on? He wants to show her being with him is the right choice, but first she has to forgive him for the secrets he kept before.

This is an entertaining, captivating, and interesting second chance romance! A well written story line that is well-developed, relatable, emotionally deep, witty, and consistent. There is drama, witty banter, crazy exes, twists and turns, adorable kids, and a whole lot of more. The characters are strong and likeable with amazing chemistry between them. This is an enjoyable book that I strongly recommend reading.

The last book (and first) that I read by this author had me all kinds of happy and swooning and Right With Me with all my good vibes just the same!! Everything about this story was right. It was quick in the sense that I was so invested I couldn’t wait to get to the next plot-point and the story was over way sooner than I wanted. I was invested from the very beginning. The kids made for some super entertaining moments and Mitchell was just one giant swoonfest! The relationship between Hailey and Mitchell develops organically and it is a pleasure to watch/read unfold!
I cannot sing this author’s praises high enough. Even tho I have only read a few books by her, I know that she is talented and multifaceted. I’m looking forward to read much more from her in the future!

As a fan of Kristen Proby’s With Me in Seattle series, I have been devouring the books in the Seattle Universe! Right With Me is the first book that I’ve read by Stacey Lewis, and I very much enjoyed it!
Mitchell and Hailey meet each other and their attraction is instant. Unfortunately, Hailey has just gotten out of a marriage, and Mitchell is still married, albeit unhappily. A year later, after Mitchell is divorced, they run in to each other when Hailey becomes Mitchell’s daughter’s teacher. They begin a relationship, but ex’s and other things get in the way.
I really liked this book! I liked the characters, and I love a good single-parent romance! I look forward to reading more books by Stacey Lewis!
I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and flowed nicely. The turn of events were done beautifully and the ending was terrific!

This is my first book by this author and I loved it and now I want to read the others in this series. Mitchell and Hailey were awesome. The chemistry and spark was there from the start, but one thing kept anything from happening the moment he wanted to kiss her, he was married. With how Hailey’s marriage Andes she was going there, but as fate would have it these two are brought together again. Their road is a little bumpy with their ex’s sticking their noses where they don’t belong, both raising kids, Mitch for the first time really sees what his kids have been missing. No spoilers here, loved it and received a copy of this book.
I liked the characters in this steamy, romantic story. Mitchell was still married when he first met Hailey, but his marriage was in name only because he did not want to lose his children. Fast forward a year later and they meet again and sparks still fly but now Mitchell is divorced and Hailey is a new teacher. Mitchell discovers this when he takes his daughter to her school open house.
The author pulls you right into the story between Mitchell and Hailey along with his children and Hailey’s son and of course they both have exes to deal with which made things quite interesting at times. I also liked that both of their families were important to them and their parents often helped out with the children.
I really liked the epilogue because it tied everything together and made the story perfect. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
I absolutely loved Mitchell for not kissing Hailey while he was still married to Tabitha. There are many guys that wouldn’t have thought twice about that and done it anyway. I also understand why Hailey did what she did, after what Seth did to her. When Hailey tells Mitchell to lose her number and blocks him, you’d think it’s over. It may take some time, but eventually, they meet again. Grab your copy and see what happens in this wonderful story.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Mitchell and Hailey have an amazing chemistry. I love that they’re both single parents as I am so into single mom romances lately. However, it’s not all easy, especially when they have to get through what he didn’t tell her before. Their chemistry is amazing and the kids add an extra layer that makes the story even sweeter.
I felt bad because Mitchell is in an unhappy marriage that I don’t think he or his wife want. Mitchell feels he needs to stay until his daughter Evie turns 18. When Mitchell meets Hailey he has an instant attraction which he knows he can’t do anything about. Hailey has a real jerk for an ex husband who cheated on her and is cautious. Things happen and Mitchell finally gets a divorce. Mitchell hasn’t seen Hailey for a year and sees her in two separate places. The second place is when he takes his daughter to meet the teacher and sees Hailey. Mitchell wants to explain everything that has happened to Hailey, but Hailey isn’t sure what to do. I have to say that Mitchell’s ex wife is a real piece of work. I might want to run the other way! LOL. Their courtship is interesting, and I encourage you to read the book. I was given a copy of the book and voluntarily wrote a review.
Right With Me: A With Me In Seattle Universe Novel is a must read second chance romance very well written by author Stacey Lewis. This charming story is about single mom Hailey Lucas and single father of two cute kids Mitchell Anderson. They’ve met before but circumstances were not right, now both have become single parents and have ex partners. It was obvious that they had chemistry and like each other very much. Fast forward a year and Mitchell (now divorced) wants another chance with Hailey. The question is whether they really want to try again to have a new relationship? Will the timing be right this time? A must read! No Spoilers here!!! You will not be disappointed.

This is a second chance romance with Hailey and Mitchell.
They first meet when she is divorced and he is in a unhappy marriage but attracted to her.
One year later they meet again after he is divorced and he wants her to give him a chance.
This is a real look into a complicate situation where there is emotional drama and devious ex’s.
It’s funny to me how kid’s change the dynamic of a story. My personal opinion is that children give more depth to the emotional aspects. They bring out a vulnerability that is sometimes overlooked. Lewis invites hearts into the captivating moments with unforgettable characters that are as intriguing as they are irresistible.
4 Star Review of Right With Me (A With Me in Seattle Universe Novel) by Stacey Lewis
Stacey Lewis is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. Right With Me was an entertaining second chance at love story that was well written and kept me engaged from the first to the last chapter.
Hailey Lucas and Mitchell Anderson are both single parents (a genre I have been reading more and more of recently). Having met at a time when neither were free, they find themselves once again meeting.
Having been hurt by the secrets that Mitchell kept from her before, Hailey is not sure if she can forgive him. They both have ex partners who I could not stand and I really felt for them both. It was obvious that they both loved their children and Mitchell would do anything for them, even staying way longer in a loveless marriage than he should have.
I enjoyed their banter, it was witty and as their relationship progressed, the chemistry sizzles between them. The question is whether they dare take a chance on their feelings and in doing so find the happily ever after together that they both deserve.
4,5 Stars for Right With Me ( A With Me in Seattle Universe Novel)
Stacey Lewis is a relatively new author to me and I have to say I’m struggling to understand why I haven’t read more by this talented author. This book was always going to be on my radar because truth be told anything to do with The With Me In Seattle Series will always to be of interest, what I didn’t expect was to get a great read in its own right. Right With Me is a fast paced, easy to read entertaining second chance romance that ticked all my boxes.
Mitchell is in a marriage for the sake of his children, he is just going through the motions and making sure his kids are happy, he is prepared to stay in a loveless marriage until his daughter Evie turns 18 but when Hailey walked into his life he finds feelings stirring up, feelings he hasn’t felt in a long time but Hailey was never going to be the other woman so he lets her walk away.
A year later the last person Mitchell expects is for Hailey to be his daughters new teacher and now he is own his own after taking Hailey’s advice that kids are better with one happy parent than two fighting ones, will the timing be right this time around or will their pasts get in the way once again….
This is a entertaining second chance romance with plenty of witty banter and some classic one liners that only a child could deliver. I loved the characters and I loved the story so I will certainly be checking out other works by this talented author. Please one click this gem of a read.
Everyone deserves a second chance at love. These two most definitely did. They also needed a second chance at getting to know each other, especially after their first encounter.
I really enjoyed this story. It was fast paced and easy to read. Mitchell and Hailey both need a second chance at love after failed relationships. They both have horrible ex’s, though Mitchell’s ex kind of redeems herself near the end. I enjoyed getting to know these two and watch them fall in love. Their kids were great and really helped move this story along. The only issue I had was with Hailey and her initial rejection of help when meeting up with her ex. It was so obvious that he had done an emotional number on her so not bringing Mitchell would have been a horrible idea. I’m glad she finally realized that. We have mean ex’s in this story. However aside of that there is little to no drama. It’s just a second chance romance between two people who deserve happiness. I’m glad I got the chance to read it. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review.*
I was drawn to this book because it’s a single parent romance. It’s so hard for me to pass up one. I enjoyed this one. My heart goes out to Mitchell. His ex-wife is a piece of work, but you can see the love he has for his children. His daughter Evie is so adorable. Hailey is gun shy because of her ex so Mitchell has his work cut out for him. Their situation is a little tricky. They have an instant attraction that just keeps growing as the book goes. It’s a book that I easily got lost in.
Romance Sweet, Language Not
I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for second-chance romances between two wounded souls, romances with family drama and adorable kiddos, and characters with backstories that make it difficult for them to choose romance when they’ve been burned so badly—even if they totally deserve it and have now found The One. So, when I read this book’s description at one of my favorite book review sites, it sounded like it checked a lot of boxes for me. But I literally turned to the first page in my ARC copy and was flabbergasted by the amount of profanity, including the F-bomb, right on the first page and within the first section. The book’s description makes it sound like it would be a relatively sweet one. That level of profanity in a sweet romance just is not appropriate for me at all. In fact, in general, I do not like profanity in books at all as I just don’t think it has a place besides for characterization on rare occasions. I certainly think authors should put in their book blurb if a book has profanity so those of us who do not like to read it, especially in our romances, can avoid the book. The book’s blurb at the book review site had no such warning. This disturbed me so much throughout the book that it completely detracted from any enjoyment I might have had. If you don’t mind a high level of profanity and what should be a sweet romance, you might enjoy this book. I, however, didn’t.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
I loved the connection between Hayley and Mitchell this storyline has plenty of twists and turns for the couple to overcome. The characters are well written and engaging the storyline has plenty to offer from beginning to the end.
