My life couldn’t get any more ridiculous. A few days ago, my son’s teacher wanted to berate me on my parenting style. I politely told her to f*ck off, in so many words. And now? She’s sitting across the table from me at my first blind date in years. You can’t make this shit up. Nothing has been easy since my wife left me and Hunter years ago. And yet, we persevered. He’s my whole world, and the … yet, we persevered.
He’s my whole world, and the last thing I have time for is a woman.
But this beautiful teacher disagrees. She wants to help me find the right girl for me and my boy. My best friend agrees. It’s time.
To shut everyone up, I go along with it. How bad can this get?
Don’t ask.
The right woman has been under my nose the whole time. And without realizing it, I’ve fallen deeply in love with her.
I can only hope she’ll stop her silly search and accept my offer.
Be mine.
Forever.

A fantastic romantic comedy with heart. Holden is a single father who doesn’t think he’ll ever find a woman to make a home with, and Autumn is a teacher who never thought she would date a single father. Full of doubts, fear, heartache, a crazy ex girlfriend, protective friends, passion, and love. The story line of finding love when least expected and the courage to protect those you hold dear was so moving and very well written. The characters will have readers laughing ad cheering. I absolutely loved Right Under My Nose from Ali Parker.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.”
I couldn’t get a feel for the characters. It ends with a cliffhanger but iI didn’t buy the next one because iI didn’t enjoy the first. I normally love Ali Parker books.
I’m an Ali Parker fan but this is disappointing. Forced my self to finish the series. Plot was thin and plot details were not believable.
Autumn is Hunter’s teacher and needs to meet with Holden who is his dad. Holden is a single father and his son is the most important person in the world to him. During this meeting regarding Hunter, these two don’t see eye to eye and Holden pretty much tells her to shut up. The next time they see each other is a little bit awkward due to this because they just happen to be on a blind date sitting across from each other. Talk about an interesting situation. Well, you’ll have to read the book to find out what else happens. It’s another well written read by this author. The characters were very enjoyable as well.
01/16/2021 I was a bit disappointed with “Right Under My Nose” (nook). Mostly because I did not realize that this was the first book in a trilogy. The story was enjoyable and I liked Holden and Autumn and how they met. I just wanted a HEA.
Great
Holden was a single dad raising his son on his own. His ex walked out when Hunter was 3 days old and never looked back. Now he seems a little shy at school and his favorite teacher is worried. Miss Beck “Autumn” send and email to talk to Holden. He gets a little upset. But what is funny is both of their friend’s think they need to date and set them on one not realizing it was Holden & Autumn. What happens next is interesting.
Can’t wait to read book two in the series, so I can see what happens with Autumn and Holden. Good read.
Unpopular opinion here. DNF. I really thought I would love this book, but it was sooo boring. I struggled to get to 50% and just couldn’t anymore. It was really repetitive, and the internal dialog was very lengthy. Wordy in general. I mean her sex dream was several, SEVERAL, pages yet their actual sex was maybe 2. Wanted to love it, thought I would from the cover and blurb….but it’s a skip from me.
This is a most wonderful book. I love single father romances, and this is definitely one of the best that I have read. I also have to admit, that since I taught school for 30 years, Autumn, who was a teacher, and Hunter, Holden’s 9 year old son, had a special place in my heart. This book was emotional at times, and was steamy hot at times, but throughout the book, it was a beautiful, outstanding, wonderful story that tugs at your heart, and keeps you pulled into it from beginning to end. I absolutely loved it, so I very highly recommend it.
I gave this Book a rating of 5 ’s

>-< >–< >–< >–< >–<>–< >–< >–< >–< >–< >–< >–< >–< What I liked/Didn’t Like: A blind date between a single father and his son’s teacher what could possibly go wrong ….. or maybe it can go absolutely right. This one was a fast paced easy to follow storyline with lots of wit, fun and as always sexiness that you expect from this author
Right Under My Nose was a well written story with drama the love of family and some passion. The characters are a strong single father businessman Holden and his adorable son Hunter and then the caring strong beautiful teacher Autumn. He is focused on his adorable little boy and business and not looking for love. She loves her job as a teacher and is pretty satisfied with her life as it is no need to find a man. Holden is called for a meeting with his son’s teacher he thinks his son is in trouble, Autumn finds is strange to have never met Hunter’s mom and dad and decides to call a meeting to discuss Hunter. Things don’t go exactly as planned.
But when these two are fix up on a blind date this is where the fun starts. This was a great read it really kept me hooked from the beginning to the end. Ali Parker has given us another wonderful story with some great characters. I absolutely recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I loved this book. I would love to see more books set in this world. There are ups and downs that reflect real life. You will laugh and cry in this book but all of the feels are fantastic.
I received an arc, and am voluntarily leaving this review. Wow!!! Ali does it again. I swear her books get better and better. This one had my emotions all over the place. Its a very interesting and entertaining story. It kept my attention to the point that I couldn’t put it down. I very highly recommend it.
This is a single father second chance romance. Holden is a single father to his son Hunter. He created his web design business Reigns Designs. Autumn is a teacher at Portland South Elementary and Hunter has been in her class for a couple of years. This book has a crazy ex, good friends, and helping a child come out of his shell. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
What an entertaining and fun story! I really enjoyed Holden and Autumn’s story! There is a little bit of everything in this romantic story. Loved this unique twists to this story.
You won’t let this one out from under your nose.
Autumn, an elementary school teacher, calls Holden, a self made billionaire and single parent, in to meet about his son’s socialization skills and things come across wrong. As the story progresses fate decides to step in and has a decidedly wicked sense of humor, yet friendships develop, romance takes over, and a happily ever after seems to be a slam dunk. That is until a blast from the past comes calling and everyone goes into protection mode sometimes for themselves, sometimes for others. Ali Parker has a special way with steamy romance., she give her readers everything they could ever ask for. You won’t let this one out from under your nose all weekend long.
Audio book review:
Overall I love this book, the audio performance was engaging. If one is reading the books (Right Under My Nose Books 1-3) and the audio simultaneously there were some deviations (less than 5 major, over 50 minor) from the printed book, but they did not detract from the overall story and would not be noticed otherwise.
I received a free audio copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
I loved this story. It was fun, sweet and had romance flowing of the pages. The characters are well described and likeable. This couple – a billionaire and a school teacher – has so much thrown at them before they can have their HEA really deserves it. They have to fight thru a lot but can they make it work? This is a very well written beautiful story that has a lot of emotional ups and downs. The author has delivered a story that is heartwarm and keeps the reader captivated from the first to last chapter. I had to read it in one setting.
It is written in dual POV and that gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
Absolutely a story that is worth the one-click!
Holden and his son (Hunter) have been on their own ever since his ex left him 10 years ago. He has focused on being a good father and being successful professionally. Autumn is Hunter’s teacher, she requests a meeting with Holden to discuss Hunter’s lack of social skills. The meeting doesn’t go well, when Autumn tries to give Holden a little feedback he takes offense. The next time these two meet is on a blind date set up by their friends. Will Holden be able to overcome pasts hurt to have a future with Autumn?
I really enjoyed this book. It was well written and had an enjoyable storyline. Holden and Autumn were a perfect couple and had amazing chemistry. The book had humor, angst, plenty of emotions and steam. A fantastic read that kept me turning the pages.
I voluntarily received an advanced arc copy for an honest review.
This is hilarious, fancy having a blind date with the teacher who isn’t impressed with how you bring up your son, this is what happened to Holden when he came face to face with Autumn, Hunter’s teacher, this is steamy with twists and turns you don’t see coming, i could not put this down.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
Right Under My Nose is about a single father and self made billionaire, Holden, and school teacher Autumn. Specifically, school teacher to Holden’s son, Hunter.
First off, the characters are great. Holden is not the typical alpha billionaire that we see in most similar genres. Autumn is not the timid school teacher, even though she tended to be more introverted.
Like the characters, it took awhile to get to the meat and potatoes of this story. There were times that it seemed to stretch out with fillers. Yet overall, it was still well paced. That is one of the many talents of Ali Parker.
This is a book I’d definitely recommend. I received this book for a voluntary ,completely honest and non incentivized review.
