Why the hell did I get involved with my best friends brother? It was time to make a choice. Do I follow my head or my heart? The guy I was dating seemed perfect on paper. Good looking, well-educated, and from a wealthy family. So, why did I feel sick when he was about to propose? When I found out that my best friend’s brother had lied and said we were married, why didn’t I run the other way? I … best friend’s brother had lied and said we were married, why didn’t I run the other way?
I guess I just can’t resist a man in uniform. This guy has got it going on… He’s dashing, sexy and strong! The kind of guy you’d like to take for a ride. The ride of a lifetime, that is.
.
Do I keep up the ruse and pretend to be his wife? Or do I let this pilot crash and burn?

Riding The Pilot by Jillian Riley this was a fake marriage romance.
I gave this book 3 1\2 stars.
I love Jillian Riley and I’m a sucker for a fake marriage romance. So far I’ve enjoyed all the books that I have read from her, they have been fantastic, awesome .
This one wasn’t my favorite, I have mixed feelings on this one. Can’t quite figure out why though
I felt my attention wonder in and out of the plot. There were parts that’s I loved with Dash and Kelly, they had some sweet moments, and there was serious emotional stuff going on with the other characters. Mild on the sex catagory, a bit of mischief caused by jealousy, Parents with an attitude!!!
Overall it was an ok book. No cliffhangers, and a standalone with a HEA. The Epilogue was a little too short for me.
I loved this book and I loved the plot and the ending was really good. I could not put it down. I would definitely recommend this book to others to enjoy as much as I did

Lazy slacker Peter “Dash” Gordon doesn’t wish to join the Air Force, so he lies on his application, saying he’s married when he’s not. He was recruited anyway, and now six years later, he’s happy with his life and wants to continue in the military. In order for him to attend officer school, however, his commanding officer wants to meet Dash’s wife. Now if only he can convince his “wife” to play the role.
Kelly Jennings is dating a wealthy soon-to-be lawyer who’s crazy about her, but something feels off with the relationship. Even though she was already contemplating breaking up with Curt, she never expected Dash to give her a way out. She agrees to help him with his problem, and they both find more than they bargained for.
Dash and Kelly were fun characters and got along great. They’ve known each other for years—his sister is her best friend—but I was surprised they fell in love so quickly. His sister, Diane, was awesome, but their parents were a nightmare.
For the writing, the story flowed pretty well, but the odd time jumps between scenes kept jolting me out of the story. There were also a few confusing stray POV shifts.
I listened to an audiobook copy of this story. The narrator, Jenny Kelly, did a good job with the narration at the beginning and with the character voices throughout. By the midway point to the end, however, the narration slips. The issues are: heavy breathing between sentences, coughing (this happened only once), and the narrator once says the wrong character name and then corrects herself. I hate mentioning these errors because I really do like her voice, but they should’ve been corrected.
I don’t normally listen to audiobooks, but I found out about this story from hearing the retail sample on Audible. It intrigued me so much that I bought a copy. Overall, I’m happy I listened to it, but the above issues should’ve been addressed.
3 Stars
This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderful read.

Riding the Pilot is the first book from this author that I have read. I love books that are great to read in one day and this was one of those. I loved reading and following the friends to lovers story of Dash and Kelly. I look forward to reading more from this author.
I enjoyed RIDING THE PILOT…
The concept of a fake marriage is always a hot and steamy read! This book would be an excellent vacation read with no interruptions. Maybe with a little role play with your significant other afterwords..
I received a complementary copy of RIDING THE PILOT for my voluntary review.
Okay, definitely expected a different story. Great hero. Very sweet and strong and loving. The heroine was so much better than I expected in this situation. They resolved conflicts by *gasp* talking about them and being honest with each other. The last minute problem was a bit of a mystery and handled well. Enjoyed it!

This book was boring and not all well written, it made me fall asleep which is unusual as I generally like Jillian Riley’s books. If I could I wouldn’t give it a star. It needs to be rewritten.
This was a really great book and the characters were really great. It was well written and I could not put it down. I would recommend it to others.

Jillian Riley is a new Author to me and I was hooked from the very beginning of this release. I adore a great romance and I found myself fortunate to have requested an advanced reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion.
This impeccably crafted storyline was like nothing I’ve ever read before. Trust me, I read daily and have not encountered one like this, I actually began recommending it immediately.
Imagine this…
Kelly is in a relationship with a man she’s having doubts about, Curt. Honestly, I think many can relate. However, her best friend’s Brother, Peter, aka Dash, just might be the solution to her current problem… as well as her one true love. It seems that when he applied for the Air Force, Dash stated that he was married (to none other than his sister’s best friend, Kelly). Having forgotten, and applying for a promotion, Dash is offered a recommendation from his Superior. All he wants in return, is to meet Dash’s wife, Kelly. Dash sets out to return home and ask Kelly for her help and what a journey these two fated characters go on. I do not want to give too much away because I wouldn’t want to ruin it for reader’s but OH WOW. This release is so much more then a sexy romance. Honestly, should you like drama with your romance, as well as a guaranteed HEA… This is the book for you.
Mr. & Mrs. Gordon has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? I can promise all fans of superbly crafted romance, that you will most definitely enjoy everything about this book. Congratulations to Ms. Riley, you’ve truly outdone yourself and I cant wait to see what you will publish next.
Dash and Kelly are meant to be. The characters in the story are strongly passionate and endearing. I enjoyed reading this quick book. The author has done a good job detailing the storyline.
