Marie is a small business owner, trying to save her hometown, after Michael’s destruction. She initially doesn’t trust Antonio, and does not want to hear his business proposal. The moral of the story is, it’s always good to hear someone out, before you pass judgment. Good book, well written!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What a great story line. It’s about Marie who lives in Port St. Joe that was affected by Hurricane Michael leaving the coast a disaster zone. The story goes on to tell about the land developers coming into town to try and buy land up for a cheap price to develop it and ruin the hometown feel as well as the gulf coast natural beauty and wildlife.
Antonio is one of those developers that wants to get his hands on the land. Marie has something to say about that! And she says it well. And in the process, she has to try to fight her feeling for Antonio.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. A definite 5 Star read! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
