He’s not going to rip me off, no matter how powerful this man is. Now he wants me to pretend to be his wife! This guy has some nerve.I don’t work for free, and I know he has more than enough money to pay what he owes me.I created a one-of-a-kind piece of ironwork for him, art that came straight from my soul. Then he brings up this insane offer, one I’d normally refuse. But the price he’s willing to … normally refuse.
But the price he’s willing to pay would make my life much easier.
So I agree.
Everything goes fine until I get to know him.
I feel things for him I shouldn’t.
Can I risk falling for him?

Riding Mr. Benson by Jillian Riley. This was a fake wife romance story.
I gave this book 5 star’s. Jillian Riley is fast becoming one of my favorites author’s. I truly enjoyed this book!
This story was a sweet romance that I was able to read in one sitting. A dedicated father just found out he was a dad recently, and he wanted to spend a lot of time with his son, and to watch him grow up. So his plan is to sell his company to achieve that freedom of time. Travis is such a sweet son.
So due to avbig misunderstandings — the buyer that is buying his company, now thinks that Rafe is a family man, he is a married man with a son, so he invited them all for a week at his estate to complete the deal……. there’s only one little problem “Rafe doesn’t have a wife” . He isn’t married!!! How the heck is he going to get himself a fake wife in just a few days to play this part for a week? Here is were metal art designer/ creater Violet enters the story by coming in or more like crashing in with her dog into Rafe & Travis front entrance hall….that was kinda of funny
This was a really cute, sexy, sweet romantic love story. It had it’s funny moments, it also had some troubling moment, but in the end all ended in a HEA with no cliffhangers, this was a standalone.
I would have liked a longer epilogue, but that’s just me with my biggest pet peeves with a lot of books on how the authors completes their story, that big finale. To me the ending of a book is so important. Epilogues I remember them when there are fantastic!
A slow burn romance between Rafe and Violet. Rafe is a single dad looking to sell his company to spend more time with his son while looking for some one to ride the storm with him for love and not because he has money. Violet agrees to a fake marriage at a beach house for a week as a business deal since she was not paid for her services for not having a contact. Riding Mr. Benson by Jillian Riley was a great read filled with lies, love, and betrayal. I am looking forward to reading other books by Jillian.

This entertaining audio gives us welding artist Violet Chambers and wealthy business man Rafe Benson.
Violet comes from a wealthy family but her passion is welding and when she finishes a job for Rafe, a man she hasn’t met, she’s shocked to find out he was clueless of the arrangement.
Rafe’s sister realizes that Violet is the perfect woman to be his “fake wife” Rafe needs to close a business deal. A deal he desperate wants so he can spend time with his young son. A boy he just recently knew existed. Violet needs the money offered, so she agrees to the deal.
Little did either know that not everything is what it seems and that their lives would change forever.
The interaction between the characters was well thought out and the young boy was delightful.
The narrator did an excellent rendition with the various voices.

He was in a bind and needed help fast. Luckily, she agreed to the deal. Both knew what could happen and still went through with it. Travis was the key person in this book. She took to him as a mother would to her own child. She welcomed him and made sure he was okay despite what was going on with her and that beast Skylar. She still should have talked to Rafe before leaving.

I love Jillian’s work and this one was no exception

When Violet barrelled into his life and connects with his son he sees her as the perfect answer Will she agree will their pretend relationship develop into so much more You will have to read to see
Great chemistry between them. It was a quick and enjoyable read. I didn’t want the story to end! Looking forward to her next book.
A really nice story
Welding artist Violet has left her wealthy family and the confines of high society behind. All she wants is to live her life and make her art. When one of her clients won’t pay because the man who originally commissioned her for one of her pieces was caught stealing, she’s in a bind. She has bills and needs the money owed to her.
Businessman Rafe just found out he’s a father and he’s trying to do right by his son. When the man buying his company thinks Rafe is married, he invites him to a company retreat, expecting to meet his wife. When Rafe sees Violet, he gets an idea. He’ll pay her what he owes her and more if she’ll act as his wife for a week. Nothing could possibly go wrong, right?
Jillian has outdone herself! This book has it all; a fake marriage, an adorable boy, even more adorable dog, a really scuzzy villain, and two stubborn people falling in love in spite of themselves. I could not put this book down!
Violet completes a huge iron artwork. Now all she has to do is get paid. Rafe is unaware of the arrangement between Violet and his now fired manager. But, he has just become the father to a 6 year old boy he never new existed. Now Rafe wants to sell his multi-billion dollar company so he can spend time with Trevor. Problem: Skyler Davis, prospective buyer, wants a family man. So, Rafe proposes Violet pose as his wife for a week, and he will pay her over double the price of the artwork. Since she thinks Trevor is cute, and he already likes her dog, she says Yes. When Skyler turns out to be a blackmailing scumbag, the tables get turned.
Violet and Rafe do not want to become emotionally involved, but the chemistry between them is too strong. When they give in to their desires, WOW! They both find themselves defending each other, and Trevor, from a common enemy. Do not worry, HEA is assured. You will love this feel-good book!

give an honest review of what I read.
This is a swoon worthy story. I really like the character of Violet Chambers in the story. There is so much of her personality that I could relate with. After having such a difficult time with her health as a child, to add on top of that the isolation she felt from her parents not being there for her emotionally. Oh they were there for her to help financially when she needed it but she wanted more from them. She wanted to feel like she was part of a family. Tired of their materialist mindset she struck it out on her own once her heath improved. Life was too short to be unhappy so she dropped out of law school and started to make a living with her art work. She worked with iron works creating designs; but to make ends meet she would do intricate designs on peoples gates to make them stand out from everyone elses. This is how she came to meet Rafe Benson.
The man that was working for Rafe had hired her to do a design on Rafes gate. He wouldn’t put give her a down payment but told her that she would be paid in full once the job was completed. Unfortunately unknown to her Rafe had fired the man a few day before she was to finished, and when she came to collect her money he didn’t know what she was talking about.
Rafe was having a problem. He was trying to sell his business so that he could spend more time with his son Travis. However the man Skylar Dennis that he was selling it to through a wrench into the plans. Once he head that Rafe and a son invited Rafe his son and his lovely wife to his lake property for a week and to sign the paperwork. The problem was Rafe didn’t have a wife. But once he saw the beautiful Violet he and his sister Chloe cooked up a plan that he hoped would help him to seal the deal. He asked for Violet to be his fake wife for the week and he would triple the cost of her art work. How could she refuse that. Both Rafe and Violet were honest people by nature so the both were having trouble with this lie. More than that each of them were having trouble with their true feeling with each other. This buyer of Rafe’s company is not the man that he makes out to be, is he going to be the one to not only destroy Rafe’s company but also to budding relationship of these two people? This is such a good story one that is worth reading over and over again.
Riding Mr. Benson was a perfect blend of sexy and sweet romance! Rafe was the perfect Hero with his overwhelming love for his son. Violet was the perfect heroine eith her sweet but no nonsense disposition. They were the perfect couple. Great story!

“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.”
My usual genre is paranormal romance, but this book kept my interest from beginning to end. Rafe is a single dad with a 6 year old son, Travis. Violet Chambers is a socialite, estranged from her family and working for her independence. The way she was so adaptable to the situations she found herself in way terrific. I loved the way she put the woman insinuating she was just with Rafe for his money in her place. They were just made for each other. The way Travis took to Arc was so sweet and the way Violet was so invested in him and his feelings shows how perfect she is. I requested an advanced reader copy from Booksprout and am under no obligation to leave this review.
