ONE OF THE MOST FUN BOOKS I HAVE READ IN A WHILE!
I’ve never read a book like this but found it so entertaining! I love the story, I love the lessons the characters learned, I love the solutions they found to the problems they faced….a really great read. Very unique and wonderful. Very funny and kept me laughing! I couldn’t put it down. Thank you!
I enjoyed the story line very much. Best romance I’ve read.
This was a fun book. Light and whimsical. A good read to brighten a cloudy afternoon.
Read the sequel, too.
Reminded me of my favorite writer Georgette Heyer.
I could start with what’s wrong with it — far to long. My opinion of course. BUT… it held me — it lived up to its name – absolutely RIDICULOUS. You can’t do things that way. How you going to get by with that? But she did. And tho it took me longer to read than I wanted, I’d recommend it. Just a fun, enchanting read. Try it, you might …
It really is ridiculous, but a lot of fun watching how they get it all worked out in the end.
I enjoyed the book very much
Unusual, interesting, and funñy tale about a woman pretending to be a man.
What a wonderful read! Very entertaining. Good job D. L. Carter!
Placed in the era surrounding the Battle of Waterloo , the heroine is forced into the role of a gentleman, in order to rebuild her sisters’ stolen dowries. . Very good read. Mild sexual activity. If you like earlier Mary Balogh’s work, you will enjoy this author. Perhaps a bit too much psychological introspection to be true to the Regency period, …
This is by far one of my most treasured reads ever. The way these characters witty dialogue flowed had me laughing my guts out to the point of tears over and over! The story itself is very entertaining, but to have the details this author applies, makes this a book that is more than highly recommended. I feel the loss for those who will never read …
I love this book! I would give it 6 stars if I could
Very, very entertaining!
An Historical English Romance with the feeling of Victor/Victoria. Nicely done .
The plots gets more and more “ridiculous” (in a good way) and twisted. A great read!
Fun and imaginative. Loved the characters and the fact that a woman was easily able to impersonate a man and have the freedom that other women of the time did not have.
I just could not get interested in this book
Thoroughly entertaining from cover to cover – loved it!
