✓Fake Relationship ✓Makeover ✓Frat Guy ✓Strong Girl ✓Revenge ✓Opposites Attract She has a broken heart and revenge on her mind…Last year Karrie was riding high. She had a boyfriend she loved, a softball scholarship, and the best roommate a girl could have. When it turned out her man was a lying, cheating ballsack, she may have gone off the rails a bit. Now, it’s a new year and Karrie’s ready to … the rails a bit.
Now, it’s a new year and Karrie’s ready to build herself back up and move on to bigger and better things.
Still, a little revenge would go a long way in helping the healing process.
He’s got a plan for revenge that will suit them both…
Ridge is used to being the BMOC. Sergeant of Arms of his frat and the ability to land any chick within snapping distance has made life pretty easy for him.
His home life is another story. He and his brothers are in the middle of a battle between his socialite mother and asshole father.
Ridge is looking for a stand-in to placate his mother and her matchmaking ways, and he has a feeling he’s just met the girl he can perfectly mold.
This makeover has nothing to do with love and everything to do with Karrie and Ridge using each other to get what they want. What starts as a ruse soon becomes an attraction they cannot deny. When it’s all said and done, they’ll both have more to confess than a need for revenge.

I had such a need for a good college sports romance I spent ages looking through my TBR pile and nothing was jumping out. So I headed to KU and for some reason this one had me one clicking and diving right in.
Since this is the first book I have read from Bethany Lopez I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was wrapped from the first chapter. I really love a reformed playboy acehole and Ridge was all that and then some.
But he was so upfront and honest with Karrie, i immediately liked him. Sure he was a bit of a jerk but he really did have valid reasons and watching him open up to Karrie was so cute, since he was so clueless.
I really enjoyed the story and I am absolutely going to be grabbing the rest of the series off KU and then adding the sisters stories to my TBR because this absolutely hit my craving right on the head.
I love Ridge and Karrie!
I had been in a book funk and this book was just the type of reading I needed. It’s everything I love about NA college romance. Cocky guys, the tension, the dilemma, and the HEA.
Ridge was cocky but not a jerk ( well not until he was lol ) and I loved how through Karrie you got to know about his wealth and how he needed to come back to earth a bit.
Now off I go to read Wes.
“For someone who claims not to know about love, you sure know how to make a girl swoon. It’s perfect.”
When I started reading I thought how this was going to be another insta love romance. I couldn’t be more wrong. Yes, it’s a fast read that is light on angst and drama, steamy without being overly sexy, and I found it so sweet and very easy to read. Ridge is amazing and Karrie just as much. This one goes to amazing writing of the author.

A Karrie é confiante e forte.

I am a big fan of slow burn. Frat House Confessions: Ridge is not slow burn, Karrie and Ridge fell in love fast, or at least connected right away, but it didn’t felt like instant love. I dare say it was better for the story that way.
Frat House Confessions: Ridge is extraordinary. The storyline was perfectly plotted and the characters, leading and secondary, are compelling. I was satisfied by Karrie and Ridge’s story and more than willing to read the rest of the series as soon as Bethany Lopez releases them.
Karrie and Ridge are unique, not more of the same. Karrie is confident and strong. She is who she is, no apologies, no shame. And Ridge is not the stupid rich guy who thinks too much of himself. He is a genuine good guy.
It was the first time I read one of Bethany Lopez’s books and I am astonished by her talent. FHC:R is brilliant. I can’t wait to know more of her work.

I throughly enjoyed this book. Ridge is just plain yummy, even as a jerk. I also loved Karrie since she didn’t let him get away with anything. So excited about Wes’s book.
At the end of a rough week for me personally I was lucky to have this gem of a romance land in my lap and I was instantly captivated by the immensely appealing characters and the slow-burn romance of the main couple. Revenge may be the reason these two got together at first but it’s a deeper connection that forms that has love flourishing in a romance that put a smile on my face. From the first page to the last readers will find themselves equally enthralled by the fake relationship that becomes oh so real by the turn of the final page.
A year ago Karrie was on Cloud 9 with a softball scholarship and a boyfriend she truly loved. When he dumped her with no reason she was left angry with her self-esteem bruised. She withdrew and spent time licking her wounds, but discovering he was even more faithless than she originally thought has her wanting to exact deeper revenge. To help her do that she agrees to a fake relationship revolving around a Pledge Event put on by the Delta Frat with sexy, rich boy Ridge. It’s a relationship that takes a sensual turn in a carefree journey full of warm and fuzzy feelings. Through it all Karrie’s a very likable heroine, someone easy to relate to as she’s a straight shooter who doesn’t sugarcoat the truth. She was hurt by her ex, lost her way for a bit, but is clearly ready to put herself out there again and I enjoyed her strong will and slight snark that made her and Ridge a formidable pair. As friends, she and Ridge are fun and flirty with interactions that jumped off the page. The more time they spend together the more solid they look as a couple and the more I was rooting for them as they made each other better.
When readers first meet Ridge they may assume he’s your typical arrogant frat boy…yet that couldn’t be further from the truth. Ridge is a truly good guy, likable, with a strong sense of protectiveness towards his brothers…and towards Karrie the closer they get. His less-than-perfect past, a past with an overbearing mother more concerned with appearances and an abusive chronic-adulterer father, has nurtured that protective side and the glimpses we see of it here endeared him to me. His main concern is for his brothers, and with the youngest starting college next year he doesn’t have to deal with his parents much longer. One of the few remaining events is the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday that has his mother matchmaking and him coming up with a plan to keep her out of his life. His plan is to bring a fake girlfriend home…and meeting Karrie at his frat’s party has her the perfect partner in crime as they’ll be helping each other get exactly what they want. He needs a fake girlfriend, and a way to overthrow his frat’s president, while she wants to make her ex jealous and show how far she’s moved on. From the moment he sees Karrie there’s clearly a connection, no subterfuge between them as they’re both very honest with each other as they grow from friends to something deeper. Throughout their journey Ridge is a delightful hero with unexpected layers beyond his rich boy facade. He may be clueless a time or two but on a whole I found him to be a hero with a big heart and caring soul and I loved how perfect he was with Karrie, showing her her true worth while she showed him that there was more to him than his money and his looks.
With each turn of the page I found a little bit more to love. From the crackling banter, exhilarating interactions, to the carefree flow of the story, the main couple’s journey of friends to true partners is one that kept me utterly entertained. Ridge and Karrie are an unforgettable pairing, each giving as good as they get, supporting each other no matter what in a romance full of heart and soul. Surrounding this likable main couple was an equally appealing cast of secondary characters that have me excited for the future. Ridge’s brothers Wes and Brody had a difficult upbringing too and it’s clear that they have bruises still lingering and I wanted to hug all three for everything they’ve survived. Ridge is a good brother to them and it spoke volumes to me just how protective he is of them and it made him an even stronger hero. I was also drawn to the three sisters Ridge has discovered as his father’s infidelities become even more known. The sisters are equally likable and just as strong-willed as seen in the series of books already written about them and the glimpses readers get of them here. One last character that I found delightful was Karrie’s roommate Mina, a sassy heroine who tells it like it is and who’s a good cheerleader for Karrie’s fake relationship. I hope to see more of her as the sizzling interaction between her and Trap is more than obvious. Readers looking for a sensual and charming New Adult romance will get all that and more courtesy of this unforgettable main couple and their slow-burn journey to HEA.
This was a good book and made me think about falling in love when I was young. Karrie is a sweet, loving girl who was crushed when her boyfriend of a year broke up with her at college. She has a great roommate that looks out for her. When her roommate talks her in to going to a Delta party she meets a hot guy named Ridge. The two’s upbringing couldn’t be more different, but the two plot together for a united cause. It was fun watching the two get to really know each other. I loved that they found things about themselves they would have never know without each other. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.
I received a free ARC of this book and am writing my honest opinion.
Ridge makes Karrie an offer she can’t refuse but soon their fake romance becomes more real. Honestly, I did not like Ridge at first, but in Ms. Lopez’s capable hands he became a character that I fell in love with. By sharing his history while helping Karrie, Ridge became a flawed hero instead of a complete jerk. Karrie allowed Ridge to show his true self with no judgement; Ridge helped Karrie remember her true worth. Together, they work as a couple.
I love Ms. Lopez’s books and loved how this one tied into a previous series. With humor, angst, drama, and romance this book has it all! Do yourself a favor and get your copy today!
REVIEW:
Ok first of all I have to apologized to Ms. Lopez because I didn’t realize she wrote Three Sisters Catering Trilogy. I read them awhile back and loved them. So once I read this book everything clicked back into place. This is the story of Ridge and Karrie . They make a pact with each other, killing two birds with one stone. Karrie’s douche of a boyfriend dumped her, out of the blue, and left her as a empty shell. She didn’t dress up any more, she just didn’t care. She promise to herself she was going to change, and that lead her to a party at the Delta Frat House, where she meets Ridge. Ridge facing his own problems, him about to lose his office position at the frat, and also avoiding his mother’s match making ways. He comes up with a deal, he help her with a makeover and make her boyfriend regret breaking up with her, while they pretend to date going to Thanksgiving at his mother’s and keeping his official position at the frat.
I loved how in this story you start to see them build a friendship, and it’s start to blur the lines into something more. I liked how the storyline was not instant love, you walk with them through their journey together. This one is one of my favorite books this year because it wasn’t just some cocky frat boy sending mix signals, but two people falling in love slowly. I can’t wait to read Ridge’s brother Wes story next.

Wow, I truly loved this! The storytelling in this is fantastic. I was sucked right into the story from the very first page.
I loved these characters so much. I connected with Karrie’s character straight away and Ridge’s character spoke to me immediately. They both came from different backgrounds which have molded them into who they are. They both had a lot of depth and felt absolutely real. They both showed character growth both internally and with each other.
The romance was ever so delightful! The chemistry between these two was seriously killer. It was so effortless and real. I adored how much of a gentleman Ridge was with Karrie. Even though they both knew that what they were doing was fake, he always showed her respect and consideration. I also loved how Karrie was always straight with Ridge and wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She called him on his crap and didn’t let his status on campus affect her. And I have to mention that the gifts that Ridge gets for Karrie were so wonderful. He really got her things that he knew she would adore instead of cliche gifts like candy and jewelry. It melted my heart that he knew her so well and wanted to show her how much he cared with the special gifts.
The plot is a fake romance trope that is written incredibly well. It is a slow-burn romance that develops beautifully through the course of their fake romance. There was enough conflict in the story to raise the stakes and make the story compelling. I liked all the little things within the story that balanced it out. I especially loved seeing the family aspects of the story. Karrie has a great family that is very close and their interactions were wonderful. While Ridge’s mother and father were awful, his extended family, sisters from his father’s first marriage, were incredible. I would love to see them again in future books.
Overall, this book is truly a gem of a read! I devoured this book in a handful of hours and I am so ready for the next book in this series! I am hoping that we get Wes and Brody’s stories and I would also love to hear Mina and Trap’s story. If you enjoy fake romance tropes then you have to read this one!
Excellent storyline! I loved the banter between characters. This book was so good I didn’t put it down until I finished it!!!!
Frat House Confessions: Ridge by Bethany Lopez is the first book I’ve read by the author and a completely enjoyable fast read. This story includes a fake relationship between a rich frat boy who has it all… and a down-to-earth girl looking for revenge against her douche of an ex. As their fake relationship progresses, sparks ignite between the pair and before you know it the tension between the pair is very real… as is the feelings that consume them. It’s a fast read, that is light on angst and drama—although what YA romance would be complete without some of each?! It’s steamy without being overly sexy, and I found it sweet and easy to read in one sitting. Ridge is not what I think of when I picture frat guys… he’s not douchey and is very upfront and honest with Karrie from the get-go. He isn’t looking to hurt her and wants transparency between them. Karrie is an intelligent, softball playing heroine. She’s been hurt repeatedly by her douche of an ex and while I don’t condone games in real life, the arrangement between Ridge and Karrie made for a fun, fast read that I would definitely recommend!
Frat House Confessions: Ridge, is my first book by this author.
I was hooked by the blurb, and I stayed for the story. To be honest, I was about to quit the book in the beginning, because it felt juvenile and not something for me. But, I kept going… because you never know, right? You might get happily surprised. Which happened to me.
I liked the relationship between Ridge and Karrie. I liked all the feels I got from them.

Okay, first of all that book cover!!! My goodness that model is nice to look at.
Now on to the important part… this story was great, the setting, the characters, those side characters. I was especially excited about the “family” getting together. When I first started this book, it hadn’t registered who exactly the brothers were until the sister’s name was brought up, and I got excited. There are a couple of characters I’d want to slap in the face or knee in the balls but I guess you need those ones to add a certain flair to the story. I can’t wait to see what’s next for the other 2 brothers.
Frat House Confessions: Ridge by Bethany Lopez is the first book in her new series, Frat House Confessions. This is a fake relationship story with a bit of revenge and a whole lot of chemistry. Karrie is looking for revenge and Ridge needs to get his mom off his back. They agree they can help each other and leave it at that. But as they spend time together, things may not be as fake as both thought.
Karrie’s last relationship ended badly and that is putting it mildly. But she is okay with who she is now, but a little revenge never hurt anyone. Ridge is popular, smart and sexy and wants his mother to stop her match-matching ways. I love their banter and interactions so much. The story was fun and charming.

Happy reading!
I love love love fake relationship books and this one was ah-mazing!!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Ridge after meeting him in the Three Sisters Catering series. But man, did he absolutely blow me away. The deal that brings him and Karrie together is supposed to make both of their lives easier. She’ll be his buffer at home for Thanksgiving and he’ll make her not-even-a-little-bit-worth-it ex jealous. How Karrie missed all the dbag red flags that Drake was giving off, I have absolutely no idea. His next level awful was seriously wild.
This book is an awesome start to this series. I’m so excited to see where it goes!!
Great story by Bethany! 5 stars for this one!
Meet Karrie, fresh off the break up of her boyfriend, when her roommate drags her out to a frat party, where she meets Ridge. She finds out her ex was a jerk who had frequented the Delta house quite a bit with different girls, when Ridge puts out a proposition for her, she accepts it. She & Ridge set out on a journey, one to make her ex jealous, but can they keep their feelings in the deal, or will they fall for one another?
Great story, I love Bethany’s books, grab this one when it releases! Enjoy!
When I think of Frat guys, I think they are going to be total douche bags with no respect. But Ridge wasn’t completely like that. He had a wall up around him and for good reasons to. There was a character who was an a** but he didn’t over take the story. Which I loved that he got put into his place.
A ruse at a the Delta frat house will bring together Ridge and Karrie. They made a pact to help one another but fate has other things in store for them. I loved how Karrie stayed true to herself and put Ridge in his place. Their story is one of a kind and is definitely a must read.
I am so happy that we got to see Millie, Dru and Tasha. I’ve missed them and I hope we get to see more of the trio in the Frat House Confession series. I am looking forward to reading Wes and Brody’s stories. I can’t wait to see what Bethany has in stored for them.
YAY! Such a fun book. Love the premise of taking the rough rock and making it shine! Throw in some fun Frat House parties and you have the perfect book. Such a great story behind all of the fun, falling in love when you do not even realize it! Facing your past and making the decision to not let it mess with your future, grabbing the bull by the horns and professing your feelings! Cannot wait for more from the Frat House!
A tit for tat agreement, what could possibly go wrong? Pesky things like feelings maybe…
What a wonderful read! Ridge became so much more than I expected him to be. I loved how Karrie grounded him – Philly sandwich anyone?! Karrie may have lost herself for a bit after a bad breakup but Ridge helps her get back to herself. What starts out as a simple agreement turns into more than expected. Will they become more or will they stick to the plan? You’re going to love the banter between these characters and the friends and family (well most of the family) around them.
Great start to a new series!
