From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author VIVIAN AREND, book 1 in the bestselling THOMPSON & SONS seriesHe wants all her tomorrowsSmall town mechanic Gage Jenick’s been waiting for this moment ever since his best friend’s little sister transformed from annoying tagalong to desirable woman. When sweet Katy Thompson kicks her boyfriend to the curb, Gage makes his move. In spite of … the curb, Gage makes his move. In spite of an assignment that will take him completely off the grid for five long months, he steals her away for one night of steamy passion with the promise of more in the future.
She can’t remember yesterday
When a freak accident on a storm-swept road leaves Katy with a memory full of holes, she can’t remember her own email password, much less how the little pink “positive” on the pregnancy stick got there. She’s at a loss to explain what happened, or when…or with whom. Suddenly she’s got two men claiming to be her baby daddy: her redneck ex, and her long-time crush, Gage.
But what the mind forgets, the heart remembers. Still, it’s going to be a long, hard ride to a happily-ever-after for two, plus one.

I’m in love with with this series. So well written, with such realistic characters and plot that you feel physically immersed in the story.
Nice read
LOVED IT!!!!!
Fun read
I loved it! An enjoyable afternoon read. Can’t wait to read more of this series.
Wow! This has great twists. Everything kept working against Gage. Katy is a tough nut to crack. It was interesting to see it all work out. Just dragged a bit.
I was disappointed, it started off very promising but went too far in the wrong direction in my opinion.
I thought this book was a better than average read. I think some of violence could have been left out. Sexy scenes steamy
This is a great series that brings back characters in previous series. This is my favorite way to read, when the townsfolk all know each other and families are highlighted. Thanks so much for sharing.
Great series.
Great story!
2.5 stars. Just cannot rate it higher as the plot was too overdone for my reading enjoyment.
Likeable characters and enjoyable read but just didn’t make sense to me.
Katy was likeable but a bit stupid in her attitude. Her accident was terrible but surely her senses would be telling her to kick Simon to the kerb. I also found it strange she was not asking everyone she knew about her past with Simon. She has a baby to think off and that should have been her priority, not trying to decide for herself.
Really loved Cage and how he coped superbly with such a strange situation. He was a caring person.
Found the restraining order a bit silly as I cannot believe it would be possible for a situation like that to happen.
I had read this as a previously titled book quite a while ago.
Though I will be reading the others again I believe this to be the worst of this series due to the above facts.
short and sweet
Ride Baby Ride (Thompson and Sons Book 1) is a challenging read for the reason that it deals with a friends to lovers relationship that is in limbo. Katy and Gage have eyes for each other but don’t act on their feelings until Gage is leaving town. Ms. Arend throws in a monkey wrench into the story by having Katy lose her memories from a wonderful night together. Will they get together or won’t they? Good incentive to read on! Not bad for a short read.
sensual…
Have enjoyed all 3in the series
Ride BabyRide was entertaining.
Once I discovered Vivian Arend, I made my way through every book of the Six Pack Ranch series and the Thompson & Sons series of which this is the first book. For those of you who are like me and are happier when things go in order, you may want to intersperse your reading of the Six Pack Ranch series with the Thompson & Sons books in terms of release order so that you don’t read about someone’s baby before you have read the story of how they got together. I have enjoyed every single book by Vivian Arend. There wasn’t a clunker among them. She maintains consistency between the books. No one’s name changes unexpectedly two books later or anything else like that. Her stories are also different. I don’t feel like I am reading the same old story when I read her books. She keeps her stories fresh and her characters relate-able. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up for this author and her books.
Spell-binding, I loved it.
It was kind of a slow star, but it got better.
