These two stories were so good, I really don’t know which one I like better. I was sure I knew how Rexton’s story was going to turn out, but it took an unexpected, pleasant turn. Barbara goes shares not one, but two sweet, spectacular stories in this book and they kept me riveted until the very end!
This was fun to read about both brothers in the combination book! I really enjoyed them both. They’re vey different from each other and I appreciate that! The second book had some sensitive topics that could be trigger issues if you’ve been sexually abused or thought about giving your child up for adoption. They were both entertaining and spiritually uplifting. In the first book Reece deals with guilt and in the second book Jenny wants to hand out revenge. Both receive peace through prayer and counseling.
Mail order bride stories can sometimes get rather repetitive, but this collection of two books is delightfully refreshing. Both stories are wonderful romance with a little adventure thrown in. Reese and Rex and all of the characters in these books are intriguing and interesting. They were both a new view and included a happy ending–which is what I want in a book. Ms. Goss never fails to give me an enjoyable read/listen!
The narration was excellent! A huge plus to the enjoyment of an audio book!

I enjoyed both stories very much. Characters were well-developed and carried over from one story to the next. Author points out how we can often be so unforgiving toward ourselves and carry guilt that Jesus doesn’t intend for us to carry. I also love how she shows the special love and bond between only family and friends but especially twins. These stories also have good reminders of forgiveness and that one sin is as bad as another without being preachy. There are a lot of lessons to be learned in these two stories.

This is the fourth book in the Mail Order Misdelivery Series, but I haven’t listened to the first books in the Series. This is a sweet and clean historical western romance. This audiobook has two parts, Reece’s story, and Rexton’s story. The stories are well written, fast-paced, filled with twists and turns, mysteries and suspense. The narration was well done. Persephone Rose has a great voice, with a great pace, easy to listen. I enjoyed my listening. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.
Twin brothers makes for 2 great stories in 1 book. Barbara Goss has given us a look at two more couples that have some difficulties to overcome. With strong faith and compassion anything is possible.

Double Trouble
When one twin seems to be ignoring his obligations, the other finds himself stepping in–sort of. Complications ensue! And then the father becomes ill. Romance is in the air as happily ever afters find their fated couples one after the other. Author Barbara Goss again delivers a delightful Mail Order Bride romance with a number of twists and turns and a fair amount of redemption while narrator Persephone Rose provides a strong vocalization of each character while smoothly moving the through the action.
This story reminded me of a saying, “what goes around comes around.” In other words, if someone treats other people badly he or she will eventually be treated badly by someone else and on the other hand, if one does good works, eventually good will come of it.
In this book there are two stories that relate to one another. They are about a pair of twin brothers, one who appears to be very down to earth and hardworking and the other who seems to be someone who tends to get into trouble and at first it appear as if he doesn’t face up to the things he has done. But as we well know, in life people can change….
Both stories have some touching moments in them as you read about how the twins meet ladies who they fall in love with and what happens leading up to that and afterwards.
Barbara Goss has the ability of drawing a reader in and making her stories into page-turners that entertain one beautifully.
Persephone Rose has an interesting voice and helps bring this audiobook to life. Good teamwork!
I really enjoyed these stories and am very happy to recommend them.
I received a free copy of the audiobook version from the author and this is my voluntary and unbiased review.
