I thought she was dead… but fate has given us a second chance.Finding Marina alive felt like a surreal dream. It also brought me back to life… and gave birth to fears. She’s a feisty dragon. Independent, smart, and gorgeous. But I still consider it my job to protect her. I can’t let anyone snatch her away from me again. I’ll keep her out of harm’s way… even if that means risking her love for me. … even if that means risking her love for me.
This is a steamy paranormal shifter fantasy romance series with a HEA and no cliffhangers.
Fans of Terry Bolryder, T.S. Joyce, Candace Ayers, Zoe Chant and Harmony Raines will like this shifter series.

Ricktor sets out to awaken the water dragons who were locked away by the witches spell for two hundred years. Once the spell was nullified, Ricktor went in and discovers his mate is in the cave and had been caught up in the entombment with her clan.
Marina wakes in Ricktor’s arms. She has a battle ahead to stop her mate from killing her kind for what they did to try to separate them.
The wolves kidnap Marina and plan to lock them all away again. But Mary sets her free along with Lauren Black who is a witch but has no idea of this fact. They are all rescued and Trevor claims Lauren, but she has no idea of this. I’m sure we will get this story in the next book in the series. Thank you Sarah for once again writing another epic edition to this series. I once again couldn’t put the book down till the last page. We are left wanting more……….

*There are some mild spoilers* I actually rate this 3 1/2* The book starts with Ricktor and his clan of air dragons in front of a cave getting ready to save some water dragons who were forced into a magical sleep by wolves. At some point Ricktor and his clan were also forced into sleep. They don’t say how his clan was awakened. They have already rescued fire dragons. As he frequently does, he is thinking about the mate he lost 200 yrs before. And as always the pain from losing his fated mate is overwhelming.
Carefully they enter the cave. When they know it’s safe they use a magical stone to awaken them. While waiting for the dragons to wake Ricktor is looking around and sees a familiar figure. As he looks closer he realizes he’s looking at his mate Marina. The reunion is as overwhelming as you would think.
All starts well but quickly there is tension. When Ricktor finds out who is responsible for their separation he wants to destroy them. All he can think about is making sure Marina is always safe. Marina stops him because even though she is really angry and was also torn apart by the separation they are people she cares about and would be terribly unhappy if they were hurt. They don’t come to a happy agreement and the issue stands between them. The problem gets worse when Ricktor goes overboard with his protective tendencies. The wolves are still a threat, he doesn’t like her being around those who separated them and he is adamant she stay away from all danger. So he decides he’ll send her somewhere safe until he can destroy all threats. Well Marina essentially says he** no. She refuses to be separated again and refuses to be anything but his equal in all things. They finally compromise but danger comes to threaten Marina. They of course find their HEA.
The book was good but I had to reread a little to remember all of it which is why only 3 1/2 stars. But I did enjoy rereading the parts I did. The editing was fairly good, you got a very good understanding of the characters, they were well written and stayed true to themselves. The story was consistent throughout.
I definitely recommend this book.

Another great book to the Dragon Elements series. This is Ricktor and Marina’s story. The author once again brings strong, well developed characters and weaves an entertaining story filled with tons of emotions, action and danger as well as the sizzling hot romance. She pulls you in with her descriptive writing and detailed scenes. I love how she incorporates the brothers and their mates into the story as well as introducing new characters, all who play an important role in the story. It moves quickly and smoothly and I loved reading. I’m looking forward to the next book. Highly recommend this book/series.

Finally we get Ricktor story he is the dragon who has lost his mate Marina was a sea dragon but she has disappeared and his brothers have told him that she is dead. So when they find the moonstone that will release the water dragons (Marina was one) he volunteers to do it after all it could be dangerous and his newly mated brothers shouldn’t risk been killed as he knew how it felt as a mate with a dead partner and he was also a little jealous and no longer wanted to be around his happy brothers. Imagine his surprise when he releases the door and finds the water dragons stirring and there in the corner is his mate Marina Her family hadn’t approved of her mating with a fire dragon and had kept her prisoner then she became involved in the trap that contained all the water dragons now they will have to fight for their future as a couple will her family let her be with a fire dragon this time or will they try to tear her away again. You will have to read to see
Water and Fire
Another good book in the Dragon Element series.
Ricktor is such closed off fierce dragon that none understand the depths of his pain. He is closest to his animal side than the others. It makes him a fierce dragon fighter.
Marina is a fierce water dragon willing to fight to protect her mate. Little does she understands the fight she will have to face is going to be against those that she loves.
Glad to read about Ricktor he is so stubborn and it plays out loud beautifully in this book.

There was something very sweet about this emotional romance. I enjoyed Ricktor and Marina’s story. Filled with drama, raw emotions, action and twists, the book held my attention well. I really felt for Ricktor. I think pretty much anyone could relate to his consuming and desperate need to protect the woman he loved considering the circumstances. A very good read.
Book four in the Dragon Elements series a well written story that I was not putting down once I started reading. Marina and Rictkor will have so much to overcome now that he has found her alive after two centuries. I enjoyed reading this book. This series is another that I’ve missed since it started. I’ll be going back to read the other books. The character of Riktor and Maina are awesome. Storyline is on track and there is plenty of steamy chemistry. Just couldn’t put it down. Sarah J. Stone is a new author for me to keep track of. Riktor has mourned the loss of Marina. At last she was recovered, but the betrayal of the Water Dragons and their separation has created a rift. Now a choice must be made. Riktor is an enjoyable novel in the Dragon Elements Series that I recommend.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Ricktor by Sarah J. Stone is the fourth book in the Dragon Elements series. I LOVE this series. These reads get better and better, hotter and hotter and, if possible more addictive! This s a series that must be read in order because it is just so good. Ricktor’s story was one I was waiting for and it was definitely well worth the wait! Sarah J. Stone gives us stories that are so well written and characters that are so well developed that you can’t help fall in love with them. Make room on your keeper shelf and be prepared to read, re-read, and fall in love with this series over and over again.

Never assume! Always fact check, if it’s important to you. Riktor, secretly mourning his mate marina, who he thought was killed. He hadn’t told his brothers about her. When it was time to revive the water dragons, he felt compelled to lead because they were her people. He was puzzled as to why they were in America though. Mary had to donate her wolf blood to activate the spell of the stone. Rik was still not fully trusting her. Mary’s dad is still causing problems for the dragons. But they are up for the challenges. Lots going on in this story. They do say the path to true love never runs smoothly. Or something like that. The challenges make the couples appreciate each other even more. Great story. I received an ARC form Booksprout for a review.

Ricktor has been living in misery ever since he saw the after math of his mate Marina’s death, not the best feeling to be wallowing in while his brothers are all finding their mates. Now he finds out she isn’t dead but they both have a battle to work out their relationship now after what she went through and him not realising she was alive, if that isn’t enough the wolfs are making more aggressive moves to try and run off the dragons. Plenty of testosterone, passion, frustration and testing times for not only Ricktor, Marina but the others in their family.

Ricktor had a mate that was killed by humans and he will never have another mate. Marina was imprisoned eons ago and lost her mate. Now what’s a girl supposed to do.
Ohhh this author has you going till the end. Definitely a really gem..
The plot was well written and well planned and Ricktor and Marina were such fascinating characters that I couldn’t put this book down until I finished reading the very last page!
