From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a saga of forbidden love and second chances.A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends.Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes.I didn’t know or care what her name was.Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after … worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man.
She hates me, and she should.
I objected on her wedding day.
Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger.
They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable.
I’ll never be done with her.

Lincoln Rischoff and Whitney Gable take forbidden romance to new heights! This quick paced and expertly written story is hot, unpredictable, and wildly entertaining. The angst and passion between all the characters is some of Megan March’s best work, in my humble opinion. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the sequel to be released!
Wow I love your books
Come get lost in the Whitney & Lincoln
Whitney and Lincoln are unlike any characters you will read out there. The pain that emanates from Whitney is palpable from the start. Lincoln’s feelings toward her, intoxicated or not, ring true from start to finish. Like any Meghan March book, she delves deep and immerses you in the storyline, rendering you unable to put it down. The emotions that you will feel will leave you ruminating about them long after you finish; that is a sign of a master author who shows you each and every time that she puts her all in every book. Even knowing the end would be a cliffhanger (and oh what a cliffhanger it is), it leaves you begging for it because no one wrings emotions out of the story and the reader quite like she does.
Another hit by the incomparable Meghan March! I can’t wait for Guilty as Sin!
This book grabs you right from the start. I absolutely love the concept of forbidden love between two people whose families have been feuding for years. You immediately fall in love with Lincoln and Whitney. As always in a Meghan March book, the supporting characters around them are incredible and the story is filled with so many unknowns and twists and turns that you are trying to read faster just so you can find out the answers you’re desperately seeking. Love the flashbacks to the past and then how it snaps back to the present. The cliffhanger will leave your jaw on the floor. I can’t wait for the next book in a couple of weeks! Meghan March has outdone herself if that’s even possible!
We were asked not to write any spoilers, so I don’t dare give many hints about the story. I will just say that this is an addictive, passionate story about money, power and lost love. These characters are victims of their birth, born to their families in this small town, powerless against an enmity born more than a century ago. One family is rich and powerful, the other is poor and downtrod, yet both are intertwined in the history of the town. Whitney Gable is broken by the choices taken in life, Lincoln Riscoff lives an empty life, bound by the demands of his family’s empire.
This feud feels like Romeo and Juliet and a little bit of Dallas soap opera; they meet as enemies and are soon lovers, but are torn apart for ten years. She comes back home, broken and persecuted, feeling like a failure. He has lived and worked but is empty until she comes back. He decides she is his and he will not stop until he has her.
There’s hate and love, anger and compassion, broken pasts and hope for the future. We’re taken on a roller coaster of passion until we get a spectacular cliffhanger and are left hanging (or panting?) for the next installment.
I loved that the book is written in dual POV’s and alternating present and past time, so we hear the current story together with the story that split them apart ten years ago. The author’s writing is brilliant here, since all the chapters, past and present, his and hers, seam effortlessly together and we get a very cohesive and clear history. I loved the humanity of all the characters, some are hateful, others kind and compassionate. The old patriarchs I found childish and funny in their rivalry. I love angsty books and this one is a winner.
Amazing part 1. Complicated and seductive and oh so hot. With crazy cliffhanger
I’m a glutton for punishment and will read Meghan’s books even though I KNOW the next book isn’t available yet. Her writing is THAT GOOD! And this book did not disappoint. The feel of it and the story line was different from her other books, but it was AMAAZING! I completely devoured this read. I enjoyed how this book showed events in the past, while the current event was happening. It was a great way for the reader to see what had happened to get Whitney and Lincoln where they were today. The feuding families made some of the things that happened in this book funny, while others not so much. The Riscoff-Gable feud was something pushed down to these characters their whole lives. It wasn’t something that happened to them, but they weren’t allowed to interact with each other. But fate stepped in and changed their course. The chemistry between them was off the charts HOT and she made him fight for something, for once in his life. The push/pull between them was intense and palpable through the pages. I enjoyed (most of) the family Whitney has left in her life and I’m glad they’re there for her. I’m ready for book 2 now!
I have never read a book by Meghan March I didn’t love and can hardly wait for Guilty as Sin, the next in this series to come out! If you like a good old fashioned family feud that’s been going on for over 100 years, two old men who keep the feud going but who really like each other, and a steamy couple who meet and fall in love before they know each other’s last name then this is for you!

Richer Than Sin was still sitting on my Kindle three days after release unread. And believe you me, for this diehard fan of March’s, the temptation to pick the first book in the Sin Series was excruciatingly hard, but sometimes life gets in the way, doesn’t it? When one of my book buddies wished me good luck with the cliffy, her comment built up my anticipation up even more. Lol, she knows who she is and had no shame goading me! I dived in with an open mind, something all of us bibliophiles do and just plain wow! There’s no beating around the bush with this author’s modus operandi! The beginning of the book was like being thrown in at the deep end and my biggest mistake was starting it at daft o’clock. Did I get any shut-eye? No! One tease after the other presented itself, each page so titillatingly engaging, it was like a race to get to the end. Was the sleep deficit worth it? Absolutely!
Now, if you’re familiar with my reviews, you’ll know they’re never short. But this time I’d rather get to the point and not enter into too much detail regarding her two protagonists’ story. Let’s see if this is possible because I do tend to get carried away with myself when I’m enthusiastic about a read! March never fails. In awe of her writing, every new publication gets better and better, her plot and character development, stronger and stronger. Don’t doubt her mastery penmanship for one single minute. In this book, she’ll awake your every emotion, give you all the feels only to put you through the wringer, leaving you breathless or worse, wanting to give your Kindle a good bashing!
Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable’s devastating journey begins as youngish adults. What I really, really liked was the structural writing technique. Even though their story flips back and forth in time, the past lays down the foundation for what could or could not happen, is evenly paced, and is ridiculously gripping. One thing is for sure, these guys detonate explosive steaminess. However, dramatic heart-wrenching scenarios abound, making me feel as if what they’d got would never have a chance to grow.
A family feud goes back many generations. And it’s sad that they had to suffer the repercussions of their elders’ actions. A real individual and a half, Lincoln’s grandfather pulls the strings, constantly reminds his grandson of the rules and is a totally unlikable character. This man drove me up the wall as did Lincoln’s brother. Hmm… a nasty piece of work, there’s no love lost between the two of them, either.
From the wrong side of the track, Whitney is easy to fall for. She’d made a bad decision, eats humble pie and goes back to her roots, well-knowing the person she doesn’t want to lay eyes on could be there. She has every reason to be wary but after a gap too long, needs to connect with family members who cherish her, who she loves. I had moments of profound sadness when reading her thoughts, how she felt about herself and how the entire catch 22 situation she was in affected her. Despite wanting a semblance of normalcy in her life, I felt that whichever way she turned the cards were stacked against her.
Right, ladies! Prepare yourselves for Lincoln. Don’t you always find a well-dressed man more attractive? Well, since you’ve all probably battered your eyelashes at the guy on the cover, coming to the conclusion that he doesn’t need a suit is indeed, a certainty. He’s always known what he wants. Trouble is, neither his wealth nor a steadfast determination is on his side. The twists went beyond my expectations, the turns left me floored and it’s not over!
I can’t recommend one-clicking enough. March has woven a nail-biting affaire de cœur, a romance which might or might not see the light of day. She’s given her readers the rough with the smooth, smiles and tears entwined with trust issues in an exceedingly well-thought-out-story. By the way, Whitney’s cousin sold me! A saga which has much more than even the best dramatic TV series, I am so looking forward to the 18th of September, the release of Guilty As Sin. Bravo March
I absolutely loved richer than sin. Meghan is my favorite author and never ceases to captivate her readers. This book combines forbidden love, second chance romance, romeo and juliet, and tons of passion. Whitney and Lincoln are hot, hot, hot together. There is a giant cliffhanger you won’t see coming. Can’t wait for the next two!
Lincoln and Whitney are a modern day Romeo and Juliet! A chance meet and passion flares but once names are revealed it all came crashing down. A family feud denying them their chance to be together. But now that they are back in each other lives can they really stay apart? Or will the passion and fire between them finally douse the feud enough for them to see beyond the anger and distrust?
“He might be marrying her today, but I wasn’t done with Whitney Gable. I’d never be done with her.”
I do love a good old Megan March romance; so much chemistry and drama and a story line that never fails to reel you in, hook, line and sinker! I definitely got a Romeo and Juliette vibe but with a very modern plot and I LOVED the main characters in this.
“That was all. It was good sex. Great sex. I was hooked on what he could do in bed. I nodded my head like I was agreeing with myself when I knew it was all bullshit. I was getting in too deep. I felt things I shouldn’t feel.”
Whitney and Lincoln were explosive together. The two of them together was like a car crash and fireworks all in the same moment. Their passion for each other couldn’t be denied but it was a beautiful tragedy waiting to happen.
“I’m older. Arguably wiser. I finally understand the value of a good woman in a way I didn’t before. Even more, I realize that I was right to think Whitney was special then. She’s unlike any woman before or since.”
It’s no secret that this wasn’t going to be an easy ride for these two and there was no lack of drama and shock throughout the story. Families, enemies, betrayal, lies- all stand in the way of these two being together and it was such a whirlwind of emotions reading as these two tried to find their way through to the other side. One hell of a cliffhanger at the end has left me basically salivating for the next installment, and I know Megan March will not disappoint!

I loved Whitney and Lincoln’s story. It was not what I expected but it was everything that was right. Lincoln is full on alpha, strong, and yet so vulnerable it makes your heart break. Whitney, she has had a rough life handed to her, even though some of it was her doing. So many things against her and yet she is a very strong independent woman.
“He might be marrying her today, but I wasn’t done with Whitney Gable. I’d never be done with her.”
This story reminds me of that Shakespeare quote from Romeo and Juliet..
“Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-crossed lovers take their life;
Whose ever misadventured piteous overthrows
Doth with their death bury their parents’ strife.”
This isn’t a full on spoof of Romeo and Juliet, but is has that feel to it enough that that quote popped into my head several times while reading it. Some say it has a “Hatfields and McCoys” feel to it. I guess I can see that as well.
“Listen up Blue. You’re back in my town. My world. You can hear me. You can see me. You can pretend I’m not here all you want, but I am.” I rest and elbow on the window and lean closer. “And there’s one other thing you should know. We aren’t fucking done.”
In true Meghan March style, I’m addicted to this series already. Granted this is only the third series (trilogy) I’ve read from her. Just like those two, after the first book I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book.
“You think my life is so fucking perfect? Well, it’s not, Whitney. Perfection walked out of my life the day you married another man.”
There are secrets, forbidden love and drama of every sort. Things are heating up to one big explosive event that we won’t see coming because Meghan March is the queen of “You did not see that coming” reveals. She will have us eating out of the palm of her hand all the way to the last page of the trilogy. Well done Meghan, well done.
Just go ahead and grab it now, you know you wanna. It’s ok. I’m pacing the floor waiting for the next book too.
Oh Meghan March. The things you do to my emotions! Richer Than Sin is absolutely addicting. Lincoln and Whitney are the quintessential lovers to enemies to…possibly lovers again? This book took me on one wild rollercoaster ride! From the very beginning, the dynamic between Lincoln, Whitney, and ultimately their entire families is something that captured my attention. The push-and-pull, the chemistry, the…EVERYTHING! Guilty as Sin can’t come soon enough. Leave it to Meghan to leave us hanging…but knowing Meghan, it will definitely be worth it!
3.5 Starr’s
Would you like to read a naughty spin on Romeo and Juliet with second chance love and family secrets thrown in? If so, this is your book. It ends on a cliffhanger that I did not see coming at all. I am dying to know what happens next for Whitney and Lincoln.
What a great prologue to start this new series!!! Hook, line, and sinker.
This story is definitely different from Meghan March’s darker romances and it did take me a beat to get use to not being in the delicious dark underworld. BUT this book was an explosive sexual chemistry between the two main characters, Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable, and I could not put it down. The story goes back and forth between the past and present. The family feud made them mortal enemies in spite of this intense connection they both cannot deny. They are unable to fight the feelings that ensue. Richer Than Sin is full of drama, deception, and lust… and at times so damn frustrating. That ending through… UGH!!! She really knows how to leave us speechless.
I’m looking forward to seeing how their story plays out. Come on book 2!!!
The queen of cliffhangers is back with a whole new world to explore! Whitney and Lincoln were lovers who were meant to be, but between a family rivalry that should have been over long ago and their own young insecurity, they were driven apart.
It’s years later and they have a second chance only someone doesn’t want them to take it.
With a whole cast of secondary characters to choose from on either side in this family drama, Meghan March has upped her game in this new drama.
OMG!!!!!!I need a minute. No, I need a freaking day. What did I just read? I seriously cannot form enough words to describe my feelings. Call it elation. Call it anger. Call it swooning. Call it happiness. I do not know how I feel after reading Richer than Sin. Ok, maybe absolute TORTURE. Yes, that’s the right feeling. I feel haunted. I feel wrecked. I feel stretched out to the max. I feel my mind going 0 t0 1000 so fast. Meghan March, what have DONE to me? You have broken me. You have messed with my brain. You messed with my emotions. HOW AM I GOING TO RECOVER? My gosh, Richer than Sin is perfection. This book is effing ART. It nails you deep. It shocks you with so much electricity in its pages. It stays with you till you become a slave to it. Richer than Sin is an upward spiral of drama and sexiness that will leave you delirious and starving. Starving for the fantastic characters, Starving for the explosive story. Starving for every single word that killed me. Richer than Sin is a sinful delight I wanted to partake in.
I am a huge fan of Meghan March. Her books always manage to leave me speechless all the time. I lose my senses. I lose all my emotions. Richer than Sin blew me away. I was hooked. I inhaled the story. I drank every single moment of the story. So interesting. So entertaining. So charming. So sensual. Richer than Sin is the perfect romance to fully indulge in. Full of angst. Full of forbidden desires. Full of drama. Full of love that is all consuming. Richer than Sin absolutely SLAYED!!!!!!!!!You know those old soap operas. Richer than Sin reminded of them. Richer than Sin is mix of Dallas and Young and the Restless with a juicier, enticing and sexier story. Meghan March is brilliant. Every story she writes is always piping hot and spicy. Every word gave me chills. Every paragraph hit me like a wrecking ball. Meghan March wrote a different romance that I did not know I would crave as much. Richer than Sin is incredible romance with a enemies to lovers and second chance tropes about family dynasties, traditions, riches, seduction, rivalry and power set in a small town. Richer than Sin is just good.
Whitney and Lincoln are one interesting and dynamic couple. Wow. I am truly in awe. Their relationship and love are forbidden. Full of sexual tension, intensity and heart break, you feel it as a reader. I felt the highly charged affection they had together. I felt their emotion inside the pages. It was deep. It was revolving. It was rocky and messy. They were so frustrating but I just could not stop reading. I was addicted to their drama. I ate it all up. That’s all I will say about them.
Read this book. Read it NOW!!!!
I NEED MY ANSWERS!!!!
CAN’T MOVE ON WITHOUT MY ANSWERS
I need Book 2!!!!!
The Capulets and the Montagues
The Hatfields and the McCoys
The Riscoffs and the Gables
Generational family feuds have always existed, perpetuating from old grudges and they’re carried forward through bloodlines because that’s what’s expected. These opposing families do not live harmoniously and any chance they get to hurt and quite possibly destroy their enemies is taken.
The first feud, albeit a fictitious one, as well as the second dispute, ended in devastation and loss, and based on how much hatred and bad blood exist between the Riscoffs and the Gables in Richer Than Sin, the first book of Meghan March’s Sin Trilogy, the only conclusion that can be made is that Lincoln Riscoff and Whitney Gable’s relationship will only lead to further heartbreak and the continuation of a feud that might very well destroy everyone involved.
I am already enthralled with March’s newest world and characters because through the dual perspectives presented as well as the seamless transition between the past and the present, she has clearly illustrated a forbidden love that still exists, despite the conflict that surrounds it, the decade that has passed since Lincoln and Whitney first gave into their feelings for one another, and the public humiliation that they both have faced due to their illogical decisions.
As readers learn just how deep the feud between the Riscoffs and the Gables goes, how manipulative the older generation of Riscoffs are, and how drastically different the families’ finances and living conditions appear, what’s most clear is that the Gables have nothing more to lose while the Riscoffs are constantly working to secure their wealth and their dominance of the town of Gable as well as the Gables who still live there.
The connection and chemistry between Lincoln and Whitney is evident from their first encounter and while both of them have tried to forget the other one, when Whitney returns home, those old feelings resurface and they’re even stronger despite the amount of time lost and the obstacles that are still in their way. But, here’s where things get a bit dicey, leaving readers with unanswered questions when book one ends because the bombshell that’s revealed is not only something that could upend any progress made between Lincoln and Whitney, but it’s also another reason for the families’ hatred to continue and that can’t mean anything positive for Lincoln and Whitney.
5 Poison Apples
Some books, or authors… make that condom talk so darn uncomfortable… even for me, the voyeur. But not Ms. Meghan March, oh no, she walks in whistlin’ like take notes ladies… and gents. She makes her condom scene all sexy with teeth ripping and rushed movements… shivers up my spine… perfect! Don’t be thinking I’m odd… this is one of those scenes that soooo many books do and do horribly! I’m left cringing and looking uncomfortably around while wondering if the chick in the story is as dry as the desert. Yup, welcome to my mind! This was a hot scene and an incredibly sexy way to start the book… I wanted to bear my teeth and bite.
So what I’m meaning by the rant above is that Ms. March is so descriptive in anything she writes about. Her readers will feel like they’re living this life she’s building or at least sitting in a 5-Star theater watching it unfold. March’s words are alive with feelings and emotions. Hers stories pulse and I can’t ever stop once I start reading. I loved feeling the disdain, or forced disdain, Whitney felt for Lincoln. Lincoln was nearly obsessed with Whitney as I was with their story. He just wouldn’t give up and I admire his determination. His complete disregard for a family feud dating back.
All the secrets and lies, the family rivalry and betrayals, the power and money, the lust and sex… it all added up to this combustible ending that I plowed through. I’ve enjoyed the other books by Ms. March but Richer Than Sin has set a new benchmark for her stories. These are now completely captivating and compulsive reads that I couldn’t put down! Do not miss this book! I’m hoping it’s the start of an explosive trilogy.
I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that… my opinions.
Great start to a new series by Meghan March! Second chance, enemies to lovers story that is fast paced and well written. I can’t wait for the next book!
