Someone has it out for Rialto. Ian Banner is loving his hectic life. He’s newly married, ready to start a family, and opening a new restaurant. All his dreams are coming true. The last thing he needs is a problem with his restaurant. But when one attack after another comes, he grows convinced he has another enemy. Ian tries to handle things by himself, but his friends are soon drawn in when the … his friends are soon drawn in when the attacks become violent. That’s when Ian realizes the target isn’t Rialto. It’s him.
Rialto is the final installment in the Unbreakable Bonds series and features sexy times, Daciana snuggles, overprotective family, fire, and of course, code names.

Great conclusion to a wonderful series. I will miss these guys
I love this series, and although I’m late to it so have still to read the earlier books, that didn’t detract from my enjoyment of this story. I would recommend going back to read the rest of the series if you haven’t, though. I’m going to.
I love the balance between plot and characters. I was seriously worried for Ian the more I read, and trying to figure out alongside him and Hollis about who was targeting Rialto, especially as the attacks escalated and it became obvious that this was very personal.
Ian and Hollis’ relationship feels very real, and I especially loved the family vibe within Ward Security which includes not just those who work there, but their growing extended family. The friendships and banter are wonderful, and it’s obvious that they care deeply for each other, and have each others’ backs no matter what. They’re also crazy, but in a good way. I loved how these different personalities come together to complement each other and work together so well.
Ian’s decision as to how to deal with the person targeting him says so much for him as a character, and I liked how it wasn’t a conventional outcome for the genre.
I loved the mission towards the end of the story, with the action, codenames (which were just perfect), and banter. Edge of seat stuff, and a fabulous read.
I found the epilogue very satisfying and I liked how it tied up the series, yet showed that these guys have happy, yet crazy lives, ahead of them.
I’d recommend this story to readers who enjoy an action drama series with plenty of relationship moments, and fabulous characters with a emphasis on the importance of family, found and otherwise.
Everyone who knows me also knows the depth of my love for Hollis… He came into my life when I first read Shiver in 2016, and I have been deeply in love with him ever since.
So it mustn’t come as a surprise that this book was a 5 star read for me. It has one of my all-time favorite characters starring it, so it was bound to happen.
And of course, it made my “top reads” of 2019 list …
Thankfully I also enjoyed the storyline, even though I read it with a bit of a double feeling since I knew this would be the final book! But as we all know, all great things must come to an end.
Though I am sure these lovely authors will have much awesomeness in store for us.
As for the story, I think you should just read it yourself. And if you haven’t started this series yet, I suggest you do so now. Just be prepared for lots of fun, laughter, and friendship. Suspense, missions and code names. And love…a whole lot of love…
I hate saying goodbye, but I also know they are all just a page away and I can open their books anytime I want 😉
I highly recommend this series!!
An ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review
Talk about closing the series with a bang! (of course,as in most cases, thanks to Rowe’s childish enthusiasm for the use of anything explosive, lol)
I was saddened by the news that this is the last in the Unbreakable Bonds series. Reading their stories made me care deeply for all the characters and part of their close knit group. comes to show, once again, how amazingly they close ranks when one of theirs is in trouble, the lengths they’re ready to go when a member of their family needs help.
When his restaurant and his life are threatened, Ian feels like the bases of everything he’s built in the last years are trembling and shaking. He doesn’t know who’s behind the attacks, but finding the culprit is just one of the focuses in the story. The book is also about the past and ugly memories, about redemption and forgiveness. But mostly it’s about love and trust, knowing that someone always has your back. About how awesome all these men are and how much they care about each other.
So,it might be the last book in the series, but it’s not goodbye. I’ll surely revisit the guys and their Unbreakable Bonds again…and again…and again…
Loved it.
Jocelyn Drake and Rina Elliott have done it again, their finale for the Unbreakable Bonds series is wonderful, although I have to admit I am so going to miss these guys and their adventures! Now that Ian and Hollis are married, they are ready to move forward into their life together but not everthing is going as smoothly as they hope. Someone is targeting Rialto and Ian, with the help of my husband, my family and a few old friends we will be able to figure it out, if nothing else there’s always covert ops, code names and maybe even some duct tape to catch the bad guys right?
This was an amazing ending (?) to a fantastic series. I loved it.
This book is AMAZING, just like all the other books in this series. I love these men and so unhappy that it’s the last book. But it finished with a bang. This book has it all..action, hilarious code names, HOT sexy times, full of love and friendship. And we get to see Ian stand up to his older protective “brothers” and demand to be seen as an equal, not someone to hide and protect. The epilogue gives us more insight to the life these great men will lead and I really loved it all!
Awe… Tears. I freaking loved this book. It was so good & I’m sad that the series is over. Happy it ended the way it did, all the HEA’s, sniff… I’ll miss those men do much & when I do I will reread them all.
