As dragon shifters, Rhodes and Zinnia should never have fallen in love. Why? Zin’s a princess while Rhodes is only the hired help. If the pair remain in the dragon realm, then age-old prejudices might tear them apart. But returning to Earth isn’t any better. In the human world, Rhodes and Zin are a musical sensation … and fame’s an even bigger relationship killer. Not to mention the fact that … fact that their old nemesis, Killian, keeps hatching evil plots against them. Bottom line? Rhodes has huge decisions to make, both for himself and Zin.
Sadly, it isn’t clear what path—if any—will end with Rhodes and his love having a future together.

Zinnia is a princess, daughter of Portia and granddaughter of Myla and a dragon shifter that has not yet been able to breathe fire. Zinnia’s parents have kept her locked up for her own protection only she is not aware of this fact at the moment.
Zinnia was taken from her parents as a child for a while and then returned with no memory of who she was or who her best friend and Rhana, Rhodes, was but now she has her memories back and is making plans to take out or stop Killian in his tracks.
She ask her sister, Huntress for help in locating a private investigator on Earth that can help her find Killian’s army before it is too late to save her Rhana and the world from war. Zinnia and Rhodes head to Earth for a concert, they are big stars on Earth as sort of a cover in order to keep Killian from getting suspicious of what they are really up to.
Killian has more plans than just a war no he has plans that involve Zinnia and her future that could result in Zinnia and Rhodes with no future together as couple. Will Killian’s plans work out? Or will Zinnia and Rhodes have the future they plan for? Who will win in the end?
I love the Angelbound world and once again found myself sucked into that world with Zinnia and Rhodes story when I picked up Rhodes and began the journey with Zinnia and Rhodes to stopping a terrible man and his army.
Rhodes is another great and fantastic adventure in the Angelbound world that kept me on the edge of my seat as I followed them on their adventure as each scene played out in my head with some big twists and turns that kept the pages rolling. Once again Christina has written another amazing story and I can’t wait to continue the story in future books of this awesome world.
As always I highly recommend Rhodes and all the Angelbound books to all readers. One click yourself a copy today!
I am very very bias on this series . . . but I had a very good reason to be . . .
This is a must read. For me the whole series has been fun. Getting to know each of the characters and follow a few of them from before they were born had been the most fun of the whole series. Rhodes for me has been a reconnect to the story of Zinnia. We see more of who Rhodes really is. We see more of what he feels. How he reacts to things around him.
I love the series. That much is clear. But to be clear. You would enjoy the series so much more if you at the least go back to Zinnia and at the highest start the series from the beginning. You see more family history and gain more clarity. I am bound to this series and every new addition to it.
This book reminded me of why I liked zin in the previous book so much. I love the fact that she kept some of her nicknames for people not because she doesn’t know better now but because they fit the person. She also is trying to relearn how being a princess will affect her life and Rhodes has to fight prejudices of him being with a royal. This is a shorter book than some other ones in the series but it has some big updates on the royal family and how they handle the fallout of chimera. It also preps us for the next book.
Note – this is book 4. While most are okay as standalone stories, this one is not, not even a bit. You must have read Zinnia to have any idea what’s going on. (But start at the beginning, just because you should and you won’t regret it!)
Dragons, rock-stars, fated mates having to choose a path, all of which seem complicated or blocked… what more could you ask for? Seriously though, this is the book that brings the romance, and I’m in love with their love!
I’m so sad that this is the conclusion of the storyline for Rhodes and Zinnia. I love them apart and I love them more together, and following them through the last 4 stories has been so wonderful! I know we’ll see them again, and I know that Kaps and whoever else is up next will be just as good, but this couple has a special place in my heart.
