Would Noah expose himself to more pain by moving in with Adrien—a man he’d always desired but could never have—a man already tied to somebody else?
Noah would have never guessed he’d find support in a woman from Adrien’s entourage—a woman who makes him an offer he cannot refuse—a chance to finally be himself, to finally be happy.
Was this offer the opportunity he’d always dreamed of or was it just another dream meant to fail and break his heart?

REWIND Boxed Set (Rewind Series Books 1-4)
By Rowan Shaw
5 out of 5 stars
The box set Rewind by Rowan Shaw includes four stories that are wonderful to read. I love that the setting for the stories is in France. They are stories that deal with love and self-acceptance. Each story has two amazing main characters as they deal with their everyday lives and also their growing attraction to each other. The stories are emotional and had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading them. There are heartbreaking moments as well as heartwarming ones as well. There are also additional characters that I enjoyed reading about their interactions with the main characters. Will love be found? Read these stories to find out. The stories also show how the characters deal and react to those who judgmental about them and the lives they lead. Don’t miss out reading this boxset as once you start it is very hard to put down. Highly recommended.

REWIND Boxed set (Rewind Series Books 1-4) By Rowan Shaw – Review by Heather Harmon
Wow, This series has some great characters and a great storyline that flow together nicely to the next book. The writing style really brings some depth to the books. I couldn’t put them down. I like that the stories are coming from the characters. It was nice to read about the LGBTQ Community and see the struggles they deal with in relationships as well. I enjoyed the french setting and how the stories opened my eyes to the LGBTQ community even more.
MUST-READ SERIES!!
Rewind series is the debut novel by Rowan Shaw. If you are like me and love a really good romance in the LGBTQ community then this series is for you. This series takes place in Paris, France and each book you follow a different couple. As these books can be read as a standalone; I highly recommend reading in order do to interconnected characters.
Rowan’s writing was so truthful and emotional that I wanted to fight alongside these characters. You will be on a roller-coaster of emotions from Rewind to Rebound.
The Rewind boxed set puts Rowan Shaw’s entire series all in one easy grab.
The series starts with Rewind. This is a wonderful story of two men reconnecting. Enzo is deaf but has not let this get in his way. He is a strong man who has had his heart broken. Florian had his life under control until he has his life torn apart by love.
The characters are well written. I liked despite challenges the men are strong but not to the point of being unbearable. The story is good also. I wanted the best for both Enzo and Florian. The story of a second chance at love and how we all deserve the chance is good. The secondary characters were interesting and were a nice complement to the main characters. They helped the main characters to tell the story but did not take away from them.
The series continues with Return. I enjoyed the first book in the series and was interested in what would happen in this book. This can be read as a standalone and enjoyed because the story is contained. Raphaël Diop is a student living in Paris looking for affordable housing. Adrien Dupuis has a room available in his apartment. The two do not have much in common and live very separate lives. Will their relationship change?
The characters are well written and I enjoyed learning about them. Also, the secondary characters added to the story and did not take away from the story of Adrien and Raphaël. This is a bisexual romance and if this is not a comfortable theme this might not be the book for you. I believe that if you can read this story you will enjoy this book and get to know Raphaël and Adrien better.
Revive is the third in this great series. Brandon is a recently divorced father who is grappling with his sexuality. Patrick is single and does not think he is relationship material. What happens when the two hook up one evening? This is a good story dealing not only with a fledgling relationship. I also liked Brandon is dealing with his bisexuality and the prejudice he comes across. This is dealing with realistic topics and handles it well.
Rebound rounds out this series. Some of the characters are coming full circle and returning in this book. There are characters which reoccur and having the background is helpful. The characters are very well written and they tell a story which could be battered and treated poorly with love and respect. There are polyamorous relationships and they are told wonderfully and explained from all parts of the relationship. Rowan Shaw makes the characters easy to relate to which leaves you wanting the best for all parties. I really enjoyed this book as well as the others in the series.
The Rewind boxed set by Rowan Shaw was really good! Each book was extremely well written, had a great storyline, and amazing characters! This series has become a quick favorite of mine, just because each book is so inclusive and sheds a lot of light on the LGBTQ+ community as a whole. I immensely enjoyed reading these novels and getting to know all the characters. I highly recommend this series, and I can’t read to read more from Shaw in the future!
Rewind Boxed Set (Books 1-4) by Rowan Shaw
Four Stars
Rewind is the first book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. This book can be read as a standalone, but I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. I love the setting in France, and the character growth from both men. This is a second chance romance that tells the story of Enzo and Florian. This book brought out all of my emotions. I was laughing, crying, tearing my hair out and routing for this couple. I really enjoyed this story and all of the growth and heartache that both of these guys go through.
Return is the second book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. This book can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading Rewind first as that is where we meet Raphael for the first time. This book started out a little slow for me, but really made up for it by the end. This is Raphael and Adrein’s story. I love the witty banter between the two of them, and how their story comes together. The love scenes are sizzling hot.
Revive is the third book in the Rewind series by Rowan Shaw. The first two books are wonderful and there are recurring characters that appear in this book. This is Patrick and Brandon’s story. I love how the author makes the characters come to life. I was rooting for them the whole way. This is my favorite book of the series so far, but I can’t wait to read the next book. If you are a fan of MM romance, I highly recommend this series.
Rebound is the fourth book in this set by Rowan Shaw. What an amazing read. Rowan saved the best for last. This is Noah’s story, and it has all of the feels you can want in a book. The emotional ups and downs are heartfelt and the characters are true to life. This truly was an awesome series that I can’t recommend enough. It grabbed me by the heartstrings and I couldn’t put it down.
REWIND Boxed set (Rewind Series Books 1-4) By Rowan Shaw. This is an amazing box set. Book 1 Rewind is the story of Enzo Chevalier who lost his hearing changing every facet of his life. He thought that was the worst thing ever but then the man of his dreams walked out on him leaving him broken. When he meets Florian Beaudry he realizes his life might just be beginning. Book 2 Return is the story of Raphael Diop who can only afford to live in Paris by moving in with Adrien Dupuis. Everything worked out fine until they crossed the line between them when Adrien told him he was attracted to him. The living arrangement is the only thing that lets Raphael stay in Paris so he’s too scared to try a relationship that could ruin everything. Book 3 Revive is the story of Patrick Lefevre who is all about his family. There is no time for hookups or relationships until he meets Brandon Smith a recent divorcee. After they hook up Brandon realizes that Patrick is his new therapist. Can they give a relationship a go or will it mess everything up. Book 4 Rebound is the story of Bisexual YouTuber Noah Perrin who has everything he could dream of. He had a great career, all the things money can buy and a great relationship with his boyfriend Hugo until Hugo dumps him. He thinks his life is over until he gets a phone call from his ex lover Adrien Dupuis and begins to think about having a relationship he never thought he could have. Then he finds support from a woman in Adrien’s entourage and he wonders if this is the relationship he’s supposed to have. He is as confused as it gets. This is an amazing boxed set about deep relationships, hookups, depression, and relationships of all kinds.
In one sentence, this series is phenomenal.
I loved every story in this series. The characters are wonderfully written. Each story digs deep into a well of emotions that make everything real. My favorite books overall are Rewind and Return. I absolutely fell in love with the Noah character though, so his book was a fantastic way to round out the series.
This is definitely a must-read series, and the box set makes it easy to binge it. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the series was over too soon. I felt like I could have stayed immersed in the Rewind world for much, much longer.
This author has a very captivating writing style that will appeal to readers of all ages. This series is exactly as described and so shouldn’t take any reader off guard. Each of these stories is emotional and heartfelt and compelling. Once you’ve read one you will immediately want to read the rest in order to enjoy and devour Shaw’s words. This box set is a worthwhile addition to any library.
This series is a must read and it’s also an unforgettable read. Each story gets better and better and you will find yourself so engrossed it the stories you will lose sight of reality while your pulled into the virtual world of the character’s. I absolutely loved how much depth and emotion is in these stories it really kept me captivated throughout I just couldn’t pull myself away. This is a series you will not be left disappointed if anything you will be left wanting more from this author just like how it made me feel after I read through this boxset.
Do not pass this boxed set pass by. Rowan Shaw. His attention to detail is one thing I love about his stories. These books are set in France. There not a place better for a love story. There is m/m romance and great diversities to show each relationship and how they grow. The characters are amazing and I felt at home with them. I could see myself being friends with all of the characters. Can you find love if you are being you? Will you allow yourself to open up to someone that you are ready to be with forever? Those relationships when you are yourself and still feel love is what you should hold in your life.
The Rewind Boxed set is a great 5 star read.
Rewind #1:
Florian walks in on a shocking scene, his GF in bed with his best friend. She appears to have no remorse whatsoever and blames him for her actions because of his bisexuality. I instantly had a dislike for this woman. I question why he stayed with her as long as he did.
Enzo who is deaf also went through an abusive relationship and was trying to recover from it. When Enzo and Florian reconnect after eight years you can feel the love between them. They were perfect for each other.
As we move forward, the story goes from past to present and we start to get some answers as to why Florian went away and Enzo has some deep scars he’s trying to recover from.
I will warn that there is some emotional abuse that was really sad and hard to read at times. The secondary characters were interesting to say the least, most of them were disappointing to me in the attitudes and comments that would come from them. This was a great read but had my emotions all over the place. If you are an overly sensitive person, some of the abuse/comments in the book may be triggers for you. What’s even more sad is that some of these things are an everyday thing for some people.
Return #2:
We get Raphael and Adrien’s story. Raphael is moving to Paris for his studies and needs to find a place to live. When he answers to an ad that Adrien has posted, things take an interesting twist.
Adrien was very quiet at first. As the days go by they get to know each other better and start to have a deep connection. The life that Adrien leads is something else but when Raphael came along things changed for Adrien.
Can Adrien and Raphael have a future together? Will they get the HEA they both deserve?
There are some very interesting elements to this story. I was once again pulled in by Rowan Shaw’s writing. I loved the secondary characters and we get lots of hot and steamy scenes and I enjoyed seeing the characters from Rewind as well.
Revive #3:
I really liked Brandon and Patrick and their story.
Brandon is a single father who has been struggling with coming out, when he has a one night stand with a hot man things get even harder for him. Brandon gets a very unexpected surprise when he meets his new therapist, Patrick, the one night stand.
Will the chemistry between these two test the patient, doctor boundaries? Can they have more?
Patrick has certain issues with bi men, and when he discovers Brandon is bi can he get past his issues? We also learn why Patrick feels the way he does, which helped me understand his feelings.
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great, I had several LOL moments. I really like the alternating POV, it gives you a chance to see what each of them are thinking.
Rebound #4:
Noah was shocked when his boyfriend Hugo broke up with him. They had 10 great years together, so Noah thought. Trying to move forward he turns to Adrien, his best friend. He meets a woman that Adrien knows and starts a very hot and steamy relationship with her.
Can Noah find happiness with her?
Overall I really enjoyed this story, I think it’s my favorite in the series so far. My emotions were all over the place. Noah really tugs at your heartstrings with everything he is going through. All of the secondary characters were great. This is a polyamorous/bisexual romance with M/M, M/F, M/M/M and M/M/M/F. I really like how open each of the characters are sexually, they all connect so well.
Rowan Shaw does a great job of pulling you right in with her writing and we meet so many great characters. 1-click and get started today on this must read boxed set you will love it as much as I did.
Rewind Boxed Set
By Rowan Shaw
4 stars
The Rewind Boxed set contains 4 wonderful stories about love and romance. I really liked this authors writing style, she wasn’t afraid to explore all kinds of different relationships in her writing and although I personally I not a fan of all these for the books I choose to read I cannot fault her character development and how wonderful these characters were. Out of the four books I think my two favourite were Rewind and Return, I loved the characters in both and especially Return I found a much deeper connection with the characters.
Rewind
Rewind was a really interesting read. It had a really lovely storyline to it, I really liked the characters and I think the author explored something different with them also which I really enjoyed. It was nice to read about different characters and their lifestyles. I can’t say that I connected with any of the characters in particular but I certainly liked reading about them. I’m not usually a fan of m/m stories but Florian and Enzo were really nice, genuine characters to read about – I definitely felt for Florian during those first few chapters told from his POV. I really liked Enzo and it was great that the author did explore something different for his character it made him seem so much more real. I think he was my favourite character in the story, there was just something about him – I really admired the strength he had to overcome what happened to him.
Return
I really enjoyed the first book in the series so I was looking forward to diving straight into the second and it didn’t disappoint at all. I think I may have enjoyed this one a little more than the first, I found a deeper connection with the characters and I really found myself dragged into Raphael’s story. The way the author wrote about him just really had my attention from the very beginning. I never deny that I am not really a fan of m/m stories so whilst some of the content wasn’t what I like to read about I cannot fault the way in which the story was written and I would much rather read a well written story with content I’m not overly keen on than a boring story with content I enjoy.
A beautiful, emotionally charged story with lovely characters that you can’t help but like!
Overall a wonderful collection of stories that I highly recommend!
The Rewind series is probably my favorite series I have read recently. I absolutely LOVE Rowan Shaw’s writing and each story is unique! Each story focuses on a unique relationship that will completely hook you from the very beginning! I love how each story teaches you that it’s OK to just be you and that love is love. I loved the unique bond each of these characters had and I haven’t read that in a book ever! Rowan Shaw and this series should be on everyone One-Click List!
If you want a read that will captivate you each time with incredibly vivid and real characters, real and raw storylines, then this is box set that you need.
The REWIND Series from Rowan Shaw effortlessly captivates you with each read, you are transported to France in which you follow the journeys of characters that you can’t help but thoroughly enjoy reading about. You will definitely be taken on an emotional rollercoaster with these characters and storylines but nonetheless, you will want to continue reading to find out more about their relationships, connections and journeys they take. While this read isn’t usually my type of genre being M/M but I’m so glad that I picked them all up and gave them the chance they so rightly deserve. This is a box set that shouldn’t be missed, this is an author that shouldn’t be missed!
The Rewind Box Set contains the 4 full length novels which make up books 1 – 4 of the Rewind Series by Rowan Shaw. These books are Rewind, Return, Revive and Rebound.
These are erotic novels set in France with emphasis on the LGBTQ community. With the majority being M/M sex, these novels include bisexual, polyamorous and transgender characters and include many sexual scenes with 3 or more characters. These books are not for the faint of heart. If you like a good steamy read that ventures outside heterosexuality then this box set is a must.
I loved all 4 books. They are all different in their own ways and I loved the different variety across the 4 books. If I had to pick my favourite then it would be the first book in the series Rewind. Part of my reasoning for loving this book is that as a partially deaf person myself, I adored that Rowan Shaw had a profoundly deaf character as the main character in this book. As well as his deafness, I just adored Enzo as a character all round. He is just so sweet and loving and I was desperate for him to find his HEA.
I loved that as the series progressed, Shaw revisited the characters from previous books, in some cases giving them a prominent role. I’m hoping that this is not the last we will see of these characters.
Rewind Boxed Set by Rowan Shaw
5 stars!
This is a fantastic set of books. I can’t sing enough praises to Rowan Shaw for this excellent set of stories. The characters in each book are all so wonderful and I am immediately drawn into knowing more about each relationship. The trials the characters had to face are very real in the gay community and are explained and handled so nicely. It makes my heart hurt for anyone facing these situations knowing that their end may not be had happy as that in these books but I am extremely pleased with how everything comes to a close. I hope, pray and wish for more books like this from Rowan Shaw, re reading the series won’t be enough for me!
The Rewind Box Set by Rowan Shaw is a fantastic collection of books that are emotional and absolutely captivating. The author has done an amazing job showcasing different characters and relationships.
Each of these books is well written and developed perfectly. The whole series has a great pace to it. It builds the stories gradually, adding depth and emotions that draw you in and keep hold of your attention fully.
If this is your style of book then I cannot recommend this series enough.
