Zeke is the fifth person to be reanimated after being cryonically preserved for ten years. But he wakes up to a world that resents his very existence. Everything he worked for is in danger of being destroyed. The last thing he needs is a well-meaning scientist with her own agenda. Michelle would rather work with anyone besides the surly scientist she’s been partnered with. The man desperately … partnered with.
The man desperately needs an attitude adjustment.
Too bad his penetrating glares also manage to hit a long-buried place inside her.
It doesn’t matter because there’s no way she’s going to enter a relationship with a coworker.
And after his disastrous marriage, he has no interest in letting any woman get under his skin.
Even in their standoff, sparks fly.
Eventually they will have to face the truth because curing disease isn’t their only job these days.
Staying one step ahead of whoever would rather see them dead is equally important.
They need each other, and it would be much easier if they could get along.
Even better if they could find a way to let the other into their hearts.

A really good romance with lots of heat.
I loved this book! Zeke has been woken up from his deep sleep and is feeling very out of sorts. Then he meets Michele, one of the newer immunologists on the team and he can’t control his bodies reaction to her. He’s never felt this way about anyone and doesn’t know what to do about it. At first, Michelle just thinks Zeke is a jerk but as she gets to know him, she begins to see who he really is. And she likes him too.
This is the fourth book in the series and probably could be read as a standalone but I definitely think it’s better to read this set in order to understand it better. Each book builds on the last one and they get more in-depth as they go along.
I received a copy of this book via the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Loved this book – great well written characters and a solid storyline they keeps you guessing and completely involved from start to finish. Quirky main characters who really click with the reader.
Book Four of the Project DEEP series. Who wants Michelle and Zeke dead? Boy, oh boy, these two need to work together. How difficult could that be, right? These two are definitely not relationship experts, they’re scientists! I loved reading Zeke’s attempt to let go of his insecurities and convince Michelle to make a go of a relationship! I can just imagine the story boards on the walls of Ms. Jameson’s writing cave! Amazing how the series continues it’s excellence!
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
Michelle does not want to work w/ Zeke
Zeke does not want to work w/ Michelle.
However, they need each other.
What to do ?
It has all the ingredients that you need for an awesome book!
I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Zeke needs to do something as he has felt lost since waking as well as being in a foul mood, unfortunately for Michelle he is put to work with her as they are both immunologist. He frustrates her with how abrupt and rude he is but she also thinks he is really good looking which frustrates her even more. I loved the flow of the story and how both Michelle and Zeke both have self doubt not just about the other but also themselves and they need to overcome these before they can really be together. Not only do they have to deal with their budding relationship but also the fact that someone is still trying to sabotage project DEEP so there is plenty of emotions going on in this book as well as some twists that leave you with even more questions.
Zeke Holleran and Michelle Houston are brilliant scientists with PhDs but as usual with these nerd types neither one of them has much real life or love experience. Set against the backdrop of increasing tensions caused by incidents of apparent sabotage either by a hacker or a Project DEEP mole and increasing danger from the outside world, Zeke and Micelle’s tender love story plays out. Two seemingly innocents when it comes to sex and love, their exploration of each other is naive and joyous. There are lots of missteps and miscommunication along the way but they forge a relationship that could be quickly torn apart as it becomes necessary to start reassigning personnel as the Project winds down.
This latest foray into the Project DEEP saga by Becca Jameson certainly meets the standard of excellence she achieves in previous books. I loved the refreshing take on a love story of two people learning about how to become a couple and handle their first real relationship.
Zeke has been revived and is working as an immunologist with Michelle. Michelle finds Zeke attractive but always grumpy about everything that goes on. Zeke tries hard to hide his attraction for Michelle as he doesn’t want to be involved with another woman. The Project Deep team is up against a mole in the organization giving information about them. Will the couple be able to put their differences aside to work together? How will their attraction end up? Another good addition to the series.
I am truly loving this series, with each person revived it seems the opposition escalates.
Zeke was grumpy before he was ‘frozen’, his wife up and left him because he wasn’t making lots of money and he wasn’t home often. Now awake for three weeks he’s bored and wants to work.
Assigned to Michelle he’s worse than ever, somehow in his mind she looks like his ex.
Michelle isn’t going to stand for his condescending, grumpy attitude and shocks herself when she realizes she is attracted to him on a whole other level.
But more than that, when a day worth of Michelle’s work disappears without explanation, Zeke re-enters it an improves on the spreadsheet. something that somewhat bewilders her.
Michelle does a makeover with the girls and finds Zeke at her door on her return. This starts up a very interesting conversation that leads to just a bit more.
As this attraction grows, attention from the outside world increases and not in a good way. A lot happens in this book, which just leaves me wanting more and more.
Sexy, suspenseful and so much more.
I really can’t wait for the next book in this series!
OMG I loved this book and I wanted to scream. Semi spoiler – we STILL do not know how info is being leaked. I stayed on the edge of my seat and was hooked. I did not put this book down. Strange things are still happening in the lab. Protesters are at the gates. Oh, there is a HUGE BOOM! Things come out that made me go what the heck… ok, that is a nice way of saying what I screamed. Zeke and Michelle both cannot stand each other but are attracted to each other. Interesting… When they finally give in, oh watch out! Hot, steamy, and action packed!

I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Reviving Zeke.
Erotic Sci-Fi at its BEST! A PRODIGIOUS story full of steam and a future about which readers can dream!
AAAAHhhhhhh! “REVIVING ZEKE” is so amazing! Although I am aware that I’ve started each of my reviews for the novels in Becca Jameson’s epic sci-fi drama, the sentiment has been true of each novel. If you have not read any of the novels in Jameson’s “Project D.E.E.P. series, then START HERE!! So far, the first novel, “REVIVING EMILY,” and “REVIVING ZEKE” are my favorites in the series. And I say, “so far” because I am hoping there are a few more novels before the author tires of the series as it has been SOOOoooo good! As to the review of “REVIVING ZEKE,” I am frustrated with the attempt to review it without revealing! No matter what the review says, reading “REVIVING ZEKE” was more marvelous, awe-inspiring, eye-opening, dream-expanding, than mere words can convey. It also held the harshest commentary on human nature while at the same time spreading joy and the hope of a brighter future! A dichotomy of thought, actions and reactions was prevalent throughout the novel. The characters of “REVIVING ZEKE” are rich and expertly developed as are all the characters found in something written by author Becca Jameson. The plot is complex and so fraught with suspense, conflict, and seemingly insurmountable odds that this reader was on the edge of her seat throughout the reading. Author Jameson writes with an easy-to-read prose so that readers can focus on those wonderful characters caught in circumstances beyond their control. While I volunteered to read an ARC of “REVIVING ZEKE” to prepare this honest, voluntary review; I plan to place it in the FAVORITES collection on my Kindle. I STRONGLY suggest you purchase your copy of “REVIVING ZEKE” today so you can celebrate with me when I say, the best news is, “REVIVING ZEKE” is NOT the last book of this wonderful series! The BUNKER will be back. . . Happy pages!
This is another winner from Becca. Zeke was a fantastic character who was the next that was brought back from cryo. Michelle works on finding cures for diseases. The two have to work together while someone causes accidents and problems in the lab. Still have protestors picking Project DEEP. Lots of action and some steamy times. This entire series is fantastic and worth every page. Love it!
