Reverie is an angsty, enemies-to-lovers standalone office romance.VickRude. Harsh. Severe. Jett Stonewood. The billionaire businessman refused to even crack a smile while vacationing in paradise. But I broke him down, introduced some fun into his life.If we had a bit too much by sleeping together, so be it.The overly practical man revealed that he could also be caring, thoughtful—and before long … be caring, thoughtful—and before long he was the one wrecking me.
He pulled me into a complex dream I needed to forget when we returned home.
The problem: Jett acquired my company.
He’s everywhere now, a constant reminder of the unattainable.
Jett
Bubbly. Airy. Wildly optimistic. Vick Blakely.
She needed a lesson in safety precautions. Not that she would have followed it if our recent tumble in the sheets was any indication.
She was too peppy … so naive it was dangerous. Someone needed to break down her fortress of positivity, teach her that warnings weren’t meant to be invitations.
The solution: I took on the job. I infiltrated her life and began disassembling it.
The little pixie flutters around in reverie.
Let’s see how well she flies when I reduce her fairy-tale bubble to dust.

This one was the first book I read from Shain Rose and I definitely loved it!
You´re going to fall in love with Jett, he´s so cold at the beginning and you´re definitely going to whisper as***le in the first chapters but once you really know him and find out the real person he is, you´re going to want to get in the book and steal him from Vick, I love that he cares for his family and I understand that that´s the reason of him being so cold and so proper.
And I love Vick for being the happy girl she is, always living life and wanting to make everyone happy and I know how hard and how necessary it is sometimes to keep smiling even though you just want to cry or be mad at someone, she really is a great woman and a wonderfull human being.
I love the chemistry between the main characters, they are like day and night falling for each other, and I love that this is an example that sometimes you don´t choose who you fall in love or maybe the type of person your looking for is not the one for you.
I had to be honest and say that I wasn´t obsessed with it in the first chapters but once I continued, I just couldn´t stop.
I really reccomend it, you´re not going to regret reading it, it´s a great story.
I received an ARC in exchange of my honest review.
Jett and Vick are complete and total opposites in every aspect of their lives. Jett is this strong willed and hard-working guy that finds love and relationships to be a waste of time and the only thing that makes sense is running his company. Vick is a free spirit who believes in living life to the fullest because deep down she knows what it feels like to maybe not have a chance at a future, so she does everything with flair and fun. These two should not work in any way but their attraction to each other is too strong and Jett wants what he wants and that’s Vick, even if he isn’t sure he can offer her more. I loved the family dynamic and the friendships in the book, I also loved Jett and his cynical ways but getting to see he has a heart under that cold exterior. Can these two let go of their insecurities and work life long enough to see if they can make things last or are they doomed to fail from the beginning?
A stunning, sexy office romance with combustible chemistry between Jett and Vick!! Lots of steam, but even more HEART. Just wonderful. Bravo, Ms. Rose. 10 stars.
Reverie by Shain Rose is the story of Jett Stonewood and Victory Blakely.
Jett is the book hero that you somewhat love to hate who thinks he can do something so hot and fast with Victory but finds he can’t seem to stop thinking of her. Victory is so totally different from Jett. Victory is rainbows, light and a fun person…so totally different from Jett. This book is one that you start reading and you can’t put it down..at least for me. I plan on reading more from this author in the future.
Shain Rose did a good job on Reverie, the plot was written well, it had many feelings. Jett and Vick’s journey had it’s ups and downs, they had that love/hate thing going on but they were drawn to one another. The attraction and chemistry was strong between them. They were good together.
I enjoyed this story. Thanks, Shain Rose. Good work 🙂
Reverie was a great steamy office-romance read! I loved Vick from the start- her bubbly personality, flair for the dramatic, and need to defy Jett at every turn made me laugh.
Jett’s determination to bring Vick back to reality and tame her was everything I need in an alpha male. I loved to hate him, until we came across his passion and inner working. Get to know the real Jett, and you’ll swoon!
You won’t want to miss this second book in the Stonewood Brothers series!
You’re not ready for Jett and Vick! I fell so deep for Brey and Jax in Inevitable, and Ms. Rose has brought it again with this story!
Light and dark, oil and water – this couple’s chemistry is simultaneously combative (which makes it HOT) and the purest balance. They are everything the other one is missing and needs and the character development is top notch.
If you enjoy office / fling romances with a ton of extra heart, you’ll love this!
4.5
I’ve read book by this author before and I this office romance, enemies to lovers book is awesome. This author writes a fabulous and they stories and they flow so well and always grips a hold of you when you pick up her books.
This book is a very powerful read and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Vick is a person that challenges everything and lives her life to the complete full and she is also the complete opposite to Jett as she wants it all in life and love. I love her and how she is in life and with the people around her.
Jett is a guy that really loves the people he cares abut and he will do anything for the ones he loves and he is very protective, but he can be a tough nut too. I thought that he came over as abit if a jerk and I thought in my mind I was clear how ii felt about him, but he will change your mind once he opens up and lets you in.
This author has written characters that you can really connect to and the chemistry that they have is sizzling hot and they are meant to be completely. I loved that we already knew the characters and what they are up to and this author did a fabulous job of carrying on the story. This story flows and once you get into it it hard to put down. I really enjoyed reading this authors books and I cant wait to read more from her in the future and I highly recommend this book its a real must read.
This book is expected to be released 25th June 2020.

Overall rating : +
This is the second book in Stonewood Brothers Series by Shain Rose
I would highly recommend following the series in order to fully understand what is happening.
No spoilers are in this review.
Jett and Vick are introduced in book one, Inevitable, as secondary characters. Shain does an amazing job in both books introducing the reader to supporting characters that you just can’t wait to get to know better. She is already setting herself up nicely for a Chicago Mafia style series and my fingers are crossed!
With the focus on Jett and Vick the reader feels the pull of light and dark between the two of them. Jett is a routine kinda guy set in his workoholic ways and Vick, while also a hard worker, also makes sure to live life to the fullest.
The chemistry is raw and organic, the steam is on point, but the love story is where it’s at. Watching a powerful man fall like Jett does is what romance books should be made of.
“You want the world, Victory Blakely, and I’m going to try and give it to you.”
Still loving the characters. I liked that there was a little less back and forth struggle in this book.
This book is the first that I read from the author and I must say that I was quite surprised, someone had already recommended me her first book but I didn’t have the opportunity or time to read it, so when I had the opportunity to receive an ARC of the book I took it and I admit I read it so fast that when I realized it was over.
The book it’s about the story of Vick and Jett, both know each other and are together at Brey’s wedding, Vick’s friend and Jax, Jett’s brother, first of all, both are sooo different, however, at the wedding they have too much fun, like seriously too much, until they have to leave and of course Vick considers it a good anecdote and that’s it right ? Well no because Jett buys the company where Vick works and their very funny and emotional story begins.
Let’s go to the characters, I’m going to start with Jett because honestly it’s me but male version, he’s realistic, cynical, a workaholic, perfectionist and doesn’t want to commit to a relationship. While Vick is the opposite, she’s very optimistic, kind and dreamy. I had a lot of fun when Jett told Vcik that she has to live in reality and not everything was good, the only thing that crossed my mind was yess Jett I understand you and you are right hahahaha. But that does not mean that I did not like Vick, sometimes it bothered and stressed me but I really like her because to begin with it has a quality that most of the protagonists do not have, and that is that she was super confident, she knows what she deserves and doesn’t settle for less.
Their relationship was very entertaining honestly, I loved to see how they fought and that it didn’t create unnecessary drama, for me it was how a romance book should be, fun, romantic and above all that they respect each other, there is a part of the book where Jett earned my respect, if you read it you will know why. The only thing left for me to say is that I highly recommend it if you like romance, it is a quick, romantic and entertaining read. On the other hand, if you’re like me and read to many dark books, this book will make you relax a little. Oh, and I liked the secondary characters, I hope the author makes a book of them.
Reverie combined two of my favorite romances: office and enemies-to-lovers. And it’s a good thing, because I was captivated by the first page. Shain Rose wrote an amazing love story that kept me rooting for Vick and Jett.
“So, Victory Blakely, turns out you’re the Phantom behind the mask and I’ve been the one living in Neverland.”

The amount of love I have for this story can’t never be describe with words , I enjoyed every second of this story and I want more . Vick and Jett hold a special place in my heart, their story was everything I needed .
They complimented each other perfectly (even though they are like fire and ice ) she’s all sparkle & shiny rainbows and the world’s full of colors while he’s all dark & twisted and sees the world black and grey . But their chemistry was beautiful and out of this world . They came into each other’s life like a wrecking ball and like the ying and the yang they balance each other perfect. This story had me gasping constantly and cover in goosebumps in the most wonderful way . It’s a story full of pixie . If you want an amazing office enemies to lovers romance pleases check reverie out , you won’t regret it .
This storyline has a lot going on within the pages. The characters are well developed and engaging and the chemistry is undeniable throughout the pages. Jett starts off as a cold man that Vicki wants to have learn how to have fun.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Cringy start. When Vick and Jett sleep together, the whole ‘making love’ bit had our home girl delusional. Who dreams up making wedding plans and happily ever afters with a one night stand? Then gets butthurt when the guys tell you up front you that it wasn’t more than a hookup? Yeah, that’s not the type of heroine I like. There was barely a touch of a solid foundation between them and for her to conclude he’s her prince charming. Honey no. It’s a complete turn off and I barely even started this read. Beside that little snippet, Vick and her behavior only became more unappealing as I read through. I just didn’t like her nor the ideal of her and Jett being in a relationship together which prompt me to drop this after much deliberation.
