Their relationship changes again when Celia learns the devil takes care of his own. Edward Fasbender is my savior. From the ashes of who I once was, he is helping me to rise. He has a list of people who have wronged him. And now he’s adding names to that list. Names that I gave him. And we will have our revenge. Revenge is the third book in the Slay Quartet.
There is so much packed into this book! We got some answers (some expected, some seriously surprising), we learned some new tricks, we learned that Celia still has a bit of her old self hanging around. I love Edward’s ability to be open and honest and still control the dynamic.
Revenge, book 3 in the Slay Quartet series, by Laurelin Paige continues Edward and Celia’s story. A story I never imagined I would be so invested in, but then again, that says so much about the wonderful Laurelin Paige. There is so much to both Edward and Celia. I will admit Celia is not someone I ever thought I would want to know more about, but her journey is definitely captivating me.
Edward and Celia have come a long way and are a just beginning to find their way as a couple and those who stand in their way better watch out! First and foremost, their chemistry is insane and undeniable. But there is still very much a push and pull between them . Both are strong and determined characters and yet, this time around we see them both become a bit vulnerable and open to each other. Together they may just be unstoppable! I cannot wait for the final book in their journey!

Happy reading!
Edward & Celia captivated me from the first page to the last! I couldn’t stop reading.
Before starting this series, I was in no way a Celia fan, but she won me over. I felt for her & I never that would happen. I just love Edward for Celia. I loved their banter & how they challenged each other.
I need the final book Rising ASAP! I need the rest of Edward & Celia’s journey.

OMG, I flipping love this series!
As soon as I saw Revenge, the third book in the Slay Quartet, I became so incredibly excited! I literally dropped everything and dove right in. And let me tell you, this book is absolutely amazing! Oh, and in case you’re not aware, this series has a continuous storyline, so you’ll need to read the books in order. But, prepare yourself for another big cliffhanger! No worries, though, as the fourth and final book is expected to be released on May 12th.
Revenge begins shortly after the second book ended. Celia is now back in London with Edward, and she is acclimating to her new situation. We begin to learn more about Edward and his past. And let me tell you, I’m really enjoying seeing this other side of him! Edward is still on a mission to get revenge, but now he’s included those that have hurt Celia. But will she be able to open up to Edward about everything that has happened to her?
I can’t wait for Rising, the final book in the series!

Celia and Edward are back and I was all kinds of in love with them as a couple!
We pick up where book two finished and Celia is now home and a little apprehensive about how things are going to go on from here. Edward quickly shows his dominance and ensures her days are filled, with what he wants her to do, something Celia finds comfort in.
As a reader you need to be aware that this book has possible triggers, child abuse/grooming, pedophilia and one particular scene towards the end is very raw.
I do and I don’t love Edwards character, he’s very powerful and always has to show his dominance. What I didn’t really love is how forceful and manipulative he is with Celia. It’s his way or no way and at times I felt for Celia. I would have loved more of the powerhouse she is, but it does fit into the story of how Edward broke her down. Saying that though, when she fights back, she does well against him, although never really winning.
I did love them together as a couple and they certainly have a very active sex life that Paige heated my kindle up with in her delicious sexy ways.
Like the previous books I devoured this read, although a little tough at times, there is just something so easy reading Paige’s books, the story is so intriguing with lots of depth and is my favourite in the series so far.
The book ended on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to see what’s next for this couple in their final book.
ARC received for an honest review – thank you

I LOVED this book! I absolutely devoured it!
I’m so addicted to the Slay Series! There are so many twists and turns that you never see coming, you’re constantly on the edge of your seat just waiting and wanting more!
Laurelin Paige’s writing is powerful and addictive. She sucks you and doesn’t let go.
If you haven’t read this series yet then you’re seriously missing out – I mean everyone could use a little Edward Fasbender in their life!
I’ll be on pins and needles until the Slay 4 is released and we have the conclusion of this phenomenal, raw and gritty, emotional series!
WOWZERS!!!! This book really took the word SLAY to a while new level!!! I NEVER expected this story to go the way it did but I loved every minute of it!!! Edward and Celia are so freaking hot!!! This story just keeps getting better and better!!! Bring on book #4!!!
HOLY MOTHER OF GOD READERS! This books rips out your heart and you just hang on for dear life! What a great series! Edward and Celia’s chemistry is so strong! That LOVE/HATE feel… YEAH! you are going to have it! HANG ON… its going to be a GREAT READ! Be ready for rereads of ALL the Fixed Series!
This series is consuming me… I love the chemistry between Edward and Celia both the physical side of their relationship and the banter. One minute the sexual intensity is sky high the next I’m laughing out loud at Celia turning the tables on Edward and making him a victim of his own games.
Not to mention the past relationship of Celia and Hudson brewing away in the background, the next book certainly feels like it could be the clash of the titans in the finale. I would love to see Hudson and Edward to head to head; not sure who I would be routing for?! Possibly Edward, he certainly has knocked Hudson off his thrown for a place in my heart
You just love leaving us hanging, don’t you, Laurelin? But that just makes it that more exciting for the next book! Edward and Celia finally have love. And not one sided. They both love each other deeply. Celia has changed a lot since she’s been with Edward. He has broken her down to raise her up into a new kind of woman. She’s no longer the Celia from when she was playing games. Plus we’ve learned a lot more on her childhood. How devastating it was when she was with her uncle. How much of her innocence he took from her. And Edward is going to avenge not only what Ron did to his wife but what Ron also did to his father. This book is pretty much about the revenge on Ron and anyone else that was involved with him. Celia wasn’t sure about it all until she received more information. Then she was all for bringing him down. Edward’s sister, Camilla has even come around where Celia is concerned. Definitely still need to read the series in order, since they all pick right up where the previous one ended. And this one is no different. Plus this book gives us so much back information on Edward, Celia and evening Camilla. I cannot wait for Rising!
Each book of this series is better than the last.
EDWARD! EDWARD! I’m yours! Totally and completely! I am so in love with this man I can’t see straight. Five stars is not enough for this. These two characters….Edward, the man of the hour, is totally delicious and Celia finally gets some of herself back in this book.
This is emotional and dark but isn’t that what we love about revenge? If you’ve not read this series because of your hatred of Celia, please give it a chance. This is so much more than what you can possibly image. Fantastic!

I was stoked to get to dive back into Edward’s and Celia’s lives. And Laurelin kept me on the edge of my seat! I was in it and FELT ALL THE FEELS! I couldn’t read this book fast enough. I wanted Edward to want Celia and bring her into his life for real. I wanted him to see her and to want her at his side. Laurelin gave me everything and so much more. I loved the push/pull this couple had but I also loved how Edward started softening towards his wife. He gave her what she needed but there were many times he was still closed off. I can’t wait to see how their journey ends! If you haven’t read book 1, you must do so to get to this book. What are you waiting for?! Go read!
Laurelin Paige is a goddess of words. Edward and Celia’s story continues and it does not disappoint. I love Edward, he is fiercely protective and dominant but sweet and loving. I can’t wait for the next book!
Edward and Celia’s story continues in book 3. We find Edward and Celia in a better part of their relationship and they are discovering what each other is really about. Secrets are brought to light and their bond becomes solid. Revenge is a key theme in this book as you can imagine by the title. This world continues to enrapture me and I can’t get enough of the twisty people that live in it. I can’t wait to see if Edward and Hudson go head to head! This story kept me riveted to my seat and I couldn’t get through it quick enough. Praise to Ms. Paige for creating such an exciting world with such dynamic characters. Can’t wait for their final book!
WOW just WOW!! This book revealed so much. I’m so hooked on this series. Edward and Celia’s story and everything in between is INSANE! That ENDING, I knew it was coming but still…. I can’t wait for the final conclusion
“He owned me completely, and it was hard to fathom anything I wouldn’t do for my ruthless devil.”
The Slay Quartet only gets better with each new book. I am so obsessed with Edward and Celia. They are honestly becoming my favorite Laurelin Paige couple to date! Slay Revenge offered everything the title promised it would. This installment had me on the edge of my seat from the first page until the last. I thought the angst, suspense, and emotion of this book would tear me apart. It was as intense as it was explosive. This story may have triggers for some but I felt the author handled everything as tactfully as the subject could be. You needed them missing pieces to fully understand Celia and the pain that surrounds her character. I LOVED the power balance Celia and Edward offered this round. It made for a perfectly satisfying game of cat and mouse. I thought the chemistry would seriously light my kindle on FIRE! And talk about ending with a BANG! I can feel the book hangover slowly creeping in. I could not be more ready to get my hands on part 4; Rising. I am dying to know what Edward and Celia have in store for us next!
Celia is very much the dragon she promises to be. I now see her character in a while new light after Revenge. I truly admire everything about Celia, and that grows with every secret she reveals. My heart completely broke for her this book. Her pain bled through the pages and straight into your heart. I always throught of her character as strong but I totally underestimated just how much strength she truly has. I love that no matter how horrid her past was she faces it head on like the dragon she is.
“In many ways, he was still a stranger to me, and yet he was the man who ruled my world.
Edward has stolen my heart EVEN more than before. Slay could not be a more perfect title to describe just what Edward will do to your heart. I just can not get enough of his demanding arrogant ways. The aloof, calculated ways he handles things is down right sexy. Edward is by far one of the fiercest alphas I have read. Every flaw, every sin just makes you want his darkness that much more. I love that he will destroy anything and anyone to protect the ones he loves most. The passion and adoration he has for Celia had me melting in the swoons!!
“Me with the devil at my side— what could possibly get in our way?”
*5 STARS*
Simply does not feel enough for this story. I would give it a hundred of I could. This is going straight to my best reads of 2020! If you have not taken the Slay plunge you are honestly missing out. I can NOT stress enough reading this quartet!!
“If he was addicted to vengeance, I was addicted to him.”
This series has caught me completely off guard. I have not read any of Paige’s previous work so I never met Celia in the other books, but just judging from this series alone, Celia as a character has grown in so many ways. She is human now instead of an emotionless robot. She has feelings and thoughts and she isn’t afraid to tell Edward about them.
Edward Fasbender. Holy mother of book boyfriends. I was not a big fan of him in book one and two but Edward in book three is a different man! He still makes mistakes and doesn’t see everything eye to eye with Celia, but you can feel his devotion and love for Celia.
My kindle almost lost its life during this book. Edward had me screaming.. and not in a good way. The demons from Celia’s past had me wanting to protect her. To shield her.
I can honestly say that after book two, I was really iffy to start this series again. Book two wasn’t my cup of joe, but after finishing book three, I am 100% in it. I’m here for every word that Paige throws my way. I need to know what happens.
“There is one more thing you need, one more thing I am prepared to give you as soon as you agree.”
“What’s that?”
“Revenge.”
REVENGE by Laurelin Paige is book Three in the Slay Quartet Series. This continues the story of Celia Werner and Edward Fasbender, so you should read the previous book “Slay: Rivalry” and “Ruin” first before starting this one. With this book we have them solid in marriage but with the taste of revenge for the past issues to seek justice. This series is so good you just can’t get enough. I love the alpha strong hero who loves his women and seeks to right the wrongs done. This has been a page turning series and I can’t wait for the next installment in their story!!!
The third book in the new quartet from Laurelin Paige, for me Revenge have the strongest impact.
In book one and two, I still can’t hold on to Edward. He’s that sadistic Dom who love to play his prey psychological. The way he control, the way he dominate, it’s more scary than a sadistic who love to spill their enemy blood. But in Revenge i see more from him. It’s still not Prince charming pretty, but I can trust him. I can put my self in Celia’s shoes and submit to this man. Because Edward is that man who will fight the dirtiest fight to protect what his.
And for Celia, she’s grown in Revenge. Out of her hard, cold, she-devil, Celia is more raw and vulnerable. What happened to her in the past, her background that makes her the evil we know, still feel so fresh and broke my heart. The wound are fresh although hidden beneath ugly scab. The way to be free of it are far and hard. And this is why I love Celia. She learn to finally let go her control. In the same time, she help Edward control he’s power.
These two are perfect.
The way Laurelin write her characters, with all their flaws, sins and darkness, her characters are perfect.
Laurelin’s way of writing is simply brilliant in it’s psychological enemy to lover war. It’s sexy, yet raw and ugly at times, but beautiful on how she write them so fearless.
I love every second of this page Turner book. Can’t wait to read the next and last instalment of this quartet. And I think the ending is gonna be epic!
