A brilliantly crafted love story. Andrew Weston and Jill Walsh have explosive chemistry. They both have been burned by love and are hesitant to put the words to their feelings. Behind their budding romance are forces trying to separate them. I love the characters in the Sutton Billionaires series, especially Andrew and Jill. They need a Happily Ever After. I received an advance copy and I am voluntarily giving my honest review.
This book captured my attention from the very first page. With a hunky, gooey-hearted billionaire, a scratched and dented heroine putting her life back together after her marriage ends, and drama and suspense the way only this writer can create, I was glued to every page, every word, as my emotions were taken on an exhilarating ride.
When Jill Walsh returns to her grandparents’ home, Andrew Weston sees a second chance with the girl he had a crush on all those years ago. She’s skittish from a trying divorce (and an ex you’ll love to hate), so Andrew knows he has to take things slowly and works on forging a friendship with Jill. Just as Jill is relaxing enough to take things further with Andrew, outside forces threaten to destroy their fledgling relationship.
This one has so many wonderful elements to keep any reader fully engaged and devouring the pages. Authentic, relatable characters, a gut-clenching storyline, plenty of drama and danger, and an interfering grandmother you can’t help but love all converge to make this an exciting, hypnotic, phenomenal read.
I enjoy Lori Ryan’s characters, they’re not 2 dimensional and the story lines are realistic.
5 star
I received a free copy of the steamy New Haven, Connecticut romance Reuniting with the Billionaire: The Sutton Billionaires Series, Book 2: Andrew and Jill by Lori Ryan and this review was given freely.
At times suspenseful and steamy, this drama and action packed story continues the series themes of strong attraction and violent crimes, contains a good update on the multiple romances and relationships found at Sutton Financial, a second chance at love story for Chief Financial Officer and playboy Andrew Weston with his childhood crush aka grandmother Nora’s neighbor, the recently divorced photographer Jill Walsh, and humor in the form of the unfiltered all knowing Nora.
Old acquaintances reconnect with a twist of a outsider trying to do harm to individuals in this story. This is an enjoyable, fast-paced, believable, romance, with a spark of intrigue.
Excellent book!
Oh Hum, Gorgeous Looking, Breathtaking Bods, Stunning looks. Same O, Same O, Oh forgot the Sex. Nothing here
3.25 STARS
I purchased this as part of the author’s 4 book bundle called SUTTON CAPITAL SERIES BOXED SET: BOOKS 1-3 (but there are 4 books in bundle, not 3. In this set this book is called PENALTY CLAUSE. But, as a stand alone it is called REUNITING WITH THE BILLIONAIRE. Why have different names for the same book?
I didn’t feel a connection to this couple as I did in book 1 The Billionaire Deal. The H/h knew each other as teenager’s, but with the H being 3 years younger they never dated. There is a lot of steam in this book when they meet up as adults. Heat level 4.5 out of 5 outside of marriage.
In this story the villain is a crazy women – no spoiler since we are told that. How did a high end company come to hire a women with mental issues? Didn’t they do a background check?
This really didn’t have much action until the end. The h’s ex husband tries to get her back. We are not told what the h’s reaction was when his mistress comes to town.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, HEA, little on romance for me and steam. (ljb)
Another good book from this author. This is her second book I have read. Great characters and a solid story.
Just finished two of Lori Ryan’s books. She is an awesome author. No matter what book of hers you read, you are never disappointed!!
Another great book in the Sutton Billionaires series. This is the story of Andrew and the one woman who can heal his heart. Reunited with his teenage crush Jill Walsh is just what he needs. Read their loving and suspenseful journey in this highly recommended book.
Emotionally thrilling, action packed, sexy fun second chance adventure filled with engaging charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and undeniable passion that will not be ignored. Really enjoyed this exciting and fun journey!
This is the second book in the Sutton Series. In this one, Jill is trying to get over a bad marriage and goes to stay at her Grandparents home. Next door, Andrew sees the girl that he has loved since they were kids. They decide to go on a date as friends, but sparks fly again. Will they let their heads get in the way of love, or will they let their hearts rule and make them happy,
Two people in love, but can they admit it and be together? Is love worth it?
It is so cute to see Andrew and Jill tiptoeing around each other while both are just putting off sexual energy that each one of them is trying to tamper down. They can’t fight it and finally give in to each other. So sweet and delicious. Nora and Lydia will have you laughing out loud funny and Jill and Andrew will have you fanning your face from the heat coming off the pages. Andrew and Jill have both been hurt before and are leery of becoming a relationship couple. But when Andrew realizes he is in love with Jill, he tries to arrange a fake marriage with her until she can realize she is really in love with him too. Enter a crazy, deranged stalker and you’ve got more drama than you can handle. Absolutely fantastic book. I loved every minute of it. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.
A great addition to the Sutton Capital family
Jill, a photographic artist, runs into Andrew, Sutton Capital’s CFO and boy next door, when she moves into her grandparent’s house after he divorce is all finalized. As the story progresses they both fight the attraction, an arrangement is made, and they may be in more danger than either of them know. Lori Ryan’s Reuniting with the Billionaire is a great addition to the Sutton Capital family. I read this story when in it’s shorter version Penalty Clause, and I am not disappointed in this newly extended version. Some author’s take it too far and drastically change events, making the reader disenchanted with the newer version of their stories, that is definitely not the case with Ms. Ryan. She has made these newer versions of her Sutton books so the transition is seamless.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
The characters in this series are great, especially Andrew’s grandmother Nora. I loved her! I’m really enjoying the Sutton Billionaires series, and I can’t wait to read Chad and Jennie’s story next!
Reuniting with the Billionaire
Lori Ryan
Another great second chance at love story. Jill and Andrew are two people who definitely go together. They care about people and pets. A great romance with a touch of suspense. Had a hard time putting it down.
Can’t wait the next one in the series.
This is Jill and Andrews story. They’ve known each other for a long time their grandmother’s lived next door. Jill returns to her grandmothers after her marriage falls apart. Jill has had a crush on Andrew since she was 15 but now doesn’t believe in HEA. Andrew is coming off a bad relationship also so he not sure he want’s anything from her. There are bumps in the road but there is suspense, drama some humor to keep you reading to see what happens to these two.
Another great story in this series. I loved meeting Jill and getting to know more about Andrew. I also liked getting to see more of our friends we’ve gotten to know at Sutton Capital from the first book and I was also excited to see how Kelly and Jack are doing. I enjoyed Jill and Andrew each getting a second chance at happiness with each other, even though there were people in the background that were scheming against them. When Theresa came onto the scene, I knew she was trouble and I’m glad she got taken care of before she could cause any more trouble than she already did. I’m definitely interested to see what is up with Jennie and Chad and especially Kelly’s sister. Really enjoyed this book!

Reuniting with the Billionaire is book 2 in the Sutton Billionaire series by Lori Ryan. I purchased the short version years ago titled Penalty Clause, Sutton Capital series. Was great then and greater now in the extended version!
Andrew Weston has been drawn to Jill Walsh for sometime but after what her ex husband did to her he knows she only wants a “no strings” rebound fling. He wants it all!! So he set out to find a way to get Jill to marry him and has her sign a “penalty clause” agreement…if he walks away he loses everything…
Can he show her that they are meant to be together forever and he won’t be walking away…ever??
